#330240 Inferno

Posted by MuskyPickle on 04 January 2020 - 04:25 PM

Tbh when you're fighting jads (triple or single) the biggest thing is not to panic. The range and mage attack are similar because jad gets on his hind legs both attacks but you must be patient and trust that you'll distinguish which one it is, it's better to be a lil more patient then rush a prayer switch. The way I make jads very easy for myself is to look for the next attack opposite of what you're praying. To make more sense: if the first attack is a stomp you pray range, only react when you see the next jad holding itself on it's hind legs and switch your prayer to mage ASAP. If the next jad attack is holdingitself on it's hind legs DON'T TOUCH YOUR PRAYERS and keep looking for the opposite attack, ive had jad attack with the same style 5 times in a row but really just trust yourself to switch when the next attack is opposite of what you're praying. It sounds redundant but the key is to only allow yourself to switch prayers when you see the opposite attack. It's impossible to switch your prayer too quickly if you observe the correct attack and switch to the correct prayer. The only difference between one and three jads is that it's faster. Hope this helps.

Be patient it'll take you a bunch of runs to really get the hang of what's happening. I didn't get inferno til my 11th run.

I explain every wave in-depth in my guide here: https://www.alora.io...-inferno-guide/

There's not much info on the triple Jad wave because there's not much to explain really. You just have to flick them and kill one at a time. Most people just psych themselves out.

To be completely honest, the triple jad is probably the easiest part. Like they stated above, just focus on one jad till his attack is over then make sure to switch to the next jad's attack as soon as it starts the animation. Other than that you should be able to get the hang of it somewhat quickly! Best of luck.

Fox nailed it,

When they spawn they attack starting with the west jad, then northern, then east. As SOON as one stomps, you pray range. As SOON as the jad lifts his front feet, you pray mage.

I don't have any general advice other than practice, practice, practice. Once you learn it, it becomes very easy. It can difficult starting out, but getting an infernal cape isn't meant to be a cake walk :)

goodluck!

I have seen guides but they do not really answer my questions. Thanks for reply, when u mean an attack is connected to me, u mean when jad either stomps his feet or lifts up his head ?

Switch prayers as soon as you see the attack animation. You can skip to 1:38:51 on the video below to see how it works (not sped up). He attacks the West Jad first, after this point the only thing you should be clicking until the first Jad falls is your protection prayers. So watch the Jad rotations (West, North, East, repeat) and switch prayers accordingly as soon as the attack animations trigger. Triple Jads is easy, it's more so about keeping your cool and not panic switching prayers. Good luck.

you can check topic 31432 for an inferno guide, it depends on you are looking at the jads,  you should start the wave near the (leave portal) and it should start with left jad then middle then right, you switch after an attack is connected with you. Keep auto retaliate on and try to hold your nerves

#68976 Revert wilderness xp update

Posted by Chance on 10 April 2017 - 05:50 AM

Understand your frustration, but its the wilderness. I personally like the idea because it makes it more risky/dangerous now skilling in the wild. Which in my book should be the case.

Now, to help the solution from you dying to random pkers, and having to wait another 2 minutes. They should add a timer. You have "x" amount of time to get back to 25+ wilderness to reserve your bonus xp. I feel this could be a good idea. It's like the timer for getting your items back when you die. For resource area, I feel you should get the bonus xp upon entering or have a minute before receiving your bonus xp. Hopefully this could happen?

#68966 Revert wilderness xp update

I really think new  the "Players must now stay in 25+ wilderness for at least 2 minutes to achieve bonus XP." update hasn't been though in to quitte alot.

I get that it isn't the intended way to train skills, but only changing this now makes it really unfair for people trying to rank in the highscores, especially iron man for who it is realy hard to even get enough suplies to get 99, stand alone 200m xp. I feel as I have been wasting my time now, where I should have focused on training skills in the wildy, since now i will need 50% more suplies to get my skills up. Bringing this update unannounced really feels like a punch in the dick.

Especially looking at how my highscore competition managed to get alot of 200m xps abusing these methods and now I have to try and compete with them, and have a huge handicap since I won't be able to.

Also as some one who has over 115m in hunter xp, I can tell you that this fix wil affect normal skill alot aswel. over the course of training hunter you die ALOT, so far I have died 184 times to random pkers, every time you die now, I would have to wait 2 more minutes before recieving the extra 1.5x xp again. This should have resulted in me losing 368 minutes of having this xp bonus which would have effected my total amount of xp gain by ALOT.

I really think this update shouldd be reverted and looked better in to, because atm it as a really big game changer. And especially since it is unnanounced, really feels like dick move.

Sure, I don't see why not.

Although a posing problem that could occur would be people stocking up on battlestaffs after reading this post.

Good luck.
