I did some tests, and scar ess is nearly same price rates than shops, but its extreme fast to get.
 

Also if the argument is "it's still cheaper than shop prices" well maybe shop prices shouldn't be so damn expensive either.

I thought that's the start point, maybe a full rework of rune prices can justify your suggestion.
