Hello gamers. As most of you probably know, @Omicron recently added a lottery to Alora! After chatting with some other gamers, I decided to suggest a little diddy for us ironmen out there. I think if ironmen could contribute to the lottery with their GP, and put the winnings in their main's name (a Classic or Normal mode account), it would not be game breaking because the ironmen can not claim the GP. 

 

What is your suggestion?: Allow Ironmen accounts to play the lottery and collect winnings on an eligible account

Is this in OSRS?: No

Has this suggestion been accepted already?: No, the lottery is new!

How would this benefit Alora?: Allowing Ironmen to dump GP from their accounts to their main for a chance to hit it big, I think this would appeal to a lot of people and also allow more of a gold sink for the server.

What is your suggestion?:

Make the use of race ralated words mutable/bannable.

 

Is this in OSRS?:

Yeah, you get muted easily for it.

 

Has this suggestion been accepted already?:

No, it's allowed to use words like nigger, nigga, etc

it's allowed by staff

 

Also can't use them in your name.

 

How would this benefit Alora?:

Racism free game. Also stops all of the discussions in game and has no reason at all to be used in Alora.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Hello, Gamers!

 

We are slowly creeping towards our 4th Year Anniversary for Alora!

 

Alora officially went live on November 4th, 2016. I've personally been around since the start of Alora and can say I'm happy with what it has turned into over the years. I want to thank everyone that's been involved with Alora even if you just started yesterday. You guys have kept the server going strong since the start and words can't express how thankful we are for all of you.

 

Big shoutout to Omicron, Staff Team, and most importantly the community for keeping Alora going for nearly 4 years.

Given that we've just added a bunch of diary teleports to the monkey, it's becoming a bit excessive, and dangerously close to a teleport wizard players carry on their backs, so for now I'm going to decline this suggestion.

As the title says, a global announcement alongside your final item received to let everyone know you completed the collection log. Normal/Iron man alike.

 

To clarify, this is specifically for each BOSS or mini game (not as a whole collection log), so if you get the last item from bandos including pet it will announce u finished bandos... etc...

 

 

For Example:

 

Hc Ashley received 1 x Twisted Bow from Chamber of Xerics (#5821)

Hc Ashley Completed Chamber of Xerics Collection log (#5821)

This isnt anything major thought it would be really cool to show off future completions of a boss/achievement 

I have had my fair share of being pk’d in the wildy while doing clues, mage arena mini game or wildy bosses, but IMO its part of the game. If you go into the wildy, expect to be pk’d. You can always make a scout or go scout the area yourself first. If there is a pker then come back and do your thing later. In the official server, bounty teleport is a magic skill in the normal magic book. With that said, I wouldn’t mind adding a longer cooldown to bounty teleporting.
