in 506 corrupt gauntlet ive average about 7 shards per gauntlet. 

a tip for gauntlet is to make basic legs, plate and helm, that means you need to find 1 of each of the resources and this saves time

I support the idea of crystal acorn being dropped from zalcano and being farmable.

only support suggestion 1. Otherwise the potion lasts too long. Shards easy to get. 4 corrupt gauntlets about 60 divine pots (4).
