#355747 Chambers of Xeric Vanguards Update

Posted by IM Purple on 21 May 2020 - 11:04 PM

Idk I guess I'd support the stat change but I'd rather other updates happen over this. I'm assuming a cox overhaul is happening anyways in the distant future

I really hope so, it's much needed in my opinion. I'd love to be able to try other rooms other than the same rotation every time

The only real reason I was a bit happy about the possibility of the early overload drop would've just been for people who are just starting out raiding and not too sure what to do as it would help them quite a bit but I do understand that it might be a little too overpowered for more experienced raiders, yeah. The stats change would be nice though, I just feel like a change to CoX would be nice for the server

What is your suggestion?:

Recently OSRS has had a poll which includes a few Chambers of Xeric updates which I think would be a nice change to Alora:

Specifically I think the Overload would be a nice drop from Vanguards, as in solos you don't really get the chance to use an overload for the majority of the raid as the room rotations never change.

Is this in OSRS?:

Not quite sure if it already is, but it is about to be.

Has this suggestion been accepted already?:

No

How would this benefit Alora?:

It would keep Vanguards up to date with OSRS and I believe as Vanguards are an early room it would allow for new people to get through raids a little bit easier with the early Overload drop, potentially not even needing to take in their own combat/range potions so they have more room for more switches/food/restores.

#351495 Loot from 500 Zulrah kills

Note: I had to use a few supplies out of the tab, approximately 500 sharks, 6 magic seeds, 50 snapdragon herbs and a crystal seed due to the fact that I'm an Ironman.

In total, for all of these drops I've killed a total of 582 Zulrahs but only started keeping track around 100 in. This is just to give people a general idea of what to expect when killing Zulrah (minus uniques, I'd say I got fairly lucky on those lol)

Edit: Added my collection log thanks to the suggestion by @Iron Magnata
