The Gauntlet is a solo minigame in which players have 10 minutes to gather resources in a randomly generated dungeon and defeat the final boss Crystalline Hunllef. Resources can be gathered either by skilling or by slaying crystalline monsters.

Players can use the following command ::gauntlet which will take them to the Gauntlet Portal shown below.

*Note* in order to use this command players must have 10 quest points meaning all 9 quests has to be completed.

And also have 70 in the following skills : Agility, Construction, Farming, Herblore, Hunter, Mining , Smithing and Woodcutting.

Once you're in the Gauntlet Chamber simply click the hole to the north and you'll be entered into the Gauntlet Minigame.

Once you enter the Gaunlet Minigame this is what you'll see.

Singing Bowl - Used to craft vials, teleport crystals, weapons and armor.

Teleport Platform - Used to abandon the current Gauntlet minigame.

Tool Storage - Used to re-obtain any dropped starter items (excluding the Teleport crystal)

Recipe Guides - Shows you how to craft items at the Singing Bowl and how to make potions.

Range - Used to cook   Raw paddlefish into  paddlefish which heals 20. You can spam click to cook faster.

Water Pump - Used to turn  vial into  vial of water to make an  Egniol potion

 Crystal sceptre - Weak melee weapon. This item is required to Light Nodes (Visit new rooms)

 Crystal Axe - Used to chop  Phren Bark.

 Crystal Pickaxe - Used to mine  Crystal ore.

 Crystal Harpoon - Used to fish  Raw paddlefish

 Pestle and Mortar - Used to grind 10x  Crystal shards into 10x  Crystal dust.

 Teleport Crystal - Single-use item which teleports the player back to the starting room.

To create basic (tier 1) armor the player must have  40 Crystal shards,  1 Crystal ore,  1 Phren bark and  1 Linum Tirinum.

To upgrade the basic (tier 1) armor to Attuned (Tier 2) the player must have  60 more Crystal shards, the basic item to be upgrade,  2 Crystal ore,  2 Phren bark and  2 Linum tirinum.

To upgrade to Perfected (tier 3) the player must have another  80 Crystal Shards, Attuned item (tier 2),  3 Crystal ore,  3 Phren bark and  3 Linum tirinum.

The player should craft two different weapons for the final phase. The cost for each weapon tier is the same.

Basic (Tier 1) -   20 Crystal Shards and  Weapon frame.

Attuned (Tier 2) - Basic weapon and  60 Crystal shards.

*Players can upgrade 3 different weapons to Perfected all requiring a different final piece.*

 Perfected Halberd (Tier 3) - Attuned weapon and  Crystal spike.

 Perfected Staff (Tier 3) - Attuned weapon and  Crystal orb.

 Perfected Bow (Tier 3) - Attuned weapon and  Crystal bowstring.

Gives the player  1 Grym leaf.

At the Singing Bowl, make a  vial for  10 Crystal shards.

Fill the vial with water in the starting room or at a fishing spot.

Collect a  Grym leaf from a resource node or as a monster drop.

Crush  10 Crystal shards with a  Pestle and Mortar to make  10 Crystal dust.

Combind the vial with the Grym leaf and then add the crystal dust to make the potion.

*The potion restores 30 prayer points, 40% run energy and causes a stamina effect*

I'd suggest the following setup:

 Tier 1 Helmet

 Tier 2 Platebody

 Tier 2 Platelegs

  Tier 2 Staff

 Tier 3 Bow

*Note* in order to craft all the gear and weapons at once you'll need,  6 Phren Bark,  6 Crystal Ore,  6 Linum tirinum,  2 Weapons frames and a bunch of  crystal shards.

The boss room contains the final boss Crystalline Hunllef which has 600 hitpoints.

* Some floor tiles will blink blue and orange and the player will receive 10-20 damage per tick if they stand on an orange tile.

* The boss will swap prayer to your current attack style on every 6th attack, necessitating two different weapons.

* The boss will use both mage and range attacks changing every 4th attack. Blue is the mage attack and green is the range attack as shown below.

* The boss will occasionally disable your prayer using a purple mage attack. Simply turn your prayer back on.

* The boss will occasionally spawn purple whirlwinds that'll chase you around the room dealing 20 damage per tick upon hit. Simply run around to prevent damage.

* Don't stand under the boss as it does a trample attack ( similar to Jad ) that does 40+ damage.

Dragon Warhammer / BGS are optional but highly recommended.

Vorkath has multiple different attacks, but there are only a few that you need to be aware of.

Orange Fire

Vorkath will tilt his head back and shoot an Orange ball of fire at you. This can do high amounts of damage, so when he does this simply move to a different spot to avoid it.

Pink Fire

Vorkath will shoot a Pink ball of fire at you that will turn your prayers off. This is unavoidable. Just switch to your prayers and turn them back on when it hits you.

White Fire

Vorkath will do a twist, then shoot a White ball of fire at you, which will freeze you. He will then tilt his head back and shoot a minion out. Simply use the  Crumble Undead spell to kill the minion, then continue killing Vorkath.

Poison Pools / Constant Fire

Vorkath will tilt his head back and shoot Poison pools all around you. He will then begin shooting Constant fireballs at you that do constant, accurate damage. You must simply keep moving in order to avoid them, and do your best not to step on the poison pools. This can be done by just spam clicking different areas.

Another notable strategy that isn't recommended for inexperienced PVMers (or if you're garbage at it like me) is the Moonwalk Method.

This method involes standing just on the line of range of the Toxic Blowpipe. You alternate attacking and moving outside of the attack range, thus keeping constant movement to avoid the fireballs while still attacking Vorkath.
