Posted by It's funny I was going to post a topic about revamping the wilderness in the next few days.
Generally I support this, but not all of your exact concepts. I think Alora should look at what OSRS is doing RIGHT NOW (second wilder was updating coming this week on there).
A suggestion was already made to add the thieving chests and it had a lot of support. I also think all current NPCs other than revs need a drop table buff. And wilderness slayer needs to be severely buffed, maybe even give a +20% slayer XP in the wilderness or something.

Posted by my issue with reviving the wilderness, paired with the suggestion above is that its only creating more gold farmers to be consolidated and picked off. its not pking. yes it plays a part of the wilderness ecosystem fueling the pkers bank. but after awhile that routine gets deflated due to pvmers minimizing risk or just accepting the extended route outside the wilderness. the pvmer would need such high rewards to consistently take the bruising from pkers.
even if we implemented every single activity into the wilderness, only pking thatll be done is the conflicts between existing pkers which fizzles out.
the eco is too strong, people spend too much time in the prepping phase rather than going out pking. only solution is cheap welfare gear unless you roll with numbers or want/can afford to risk.
its not worth spending time gathering 70m to lose it in 5mins in each encounter. (were talking large numbers of players who dont care for the rest of the game they solely pk)
imagine telling someone go do an activity for 4-5hrs to have 1 pk trip that lasts 20mins, theyll cop it for afew attempts and leave cause the effort:reward ratio is out of sync. even if there is a good pker that gets a decent kdr the fact it can be brought back to neutral with current prices eliminates skill gap
@Omicron would need to offer clan incentives like tournaments, ingame cosmetic perks, take home money for putting in effort instead of allocating that to osrs where they walk away with irl cause golds worth something still.

H: Who do you most admire in life?Charizard: Growing up I always admired celebrities and superheroes. As I’ve grown older I’ve come to admire the adults who’ve raised and supported me in life. My father for helping and teaching me to do good business. My mother for showing me how to be kind.
H: What is a skill you'd like to learn and why?
Charizard: I’ve never learned how to play an instrument and piano is something that I’ve always wanted to play. It’s the most chaotic or relaxing instrument, and I will eventually learn how to play even basic songs.
H: If you could witness any event of the past, present, or future, what would it be?
Charizard: Would have to be something to do with music. Going back and seeing Queen in concert is something I’ve always said I would do if I had the opportunity.
H: Tell us a little about your journey to secure 1st place in the Alora Leagues tournament.
Charizard: Playing Alora leagues was the most fun I’ve had playing a game in 10 years. I’m not one to grind anything video game like anymore but seeing my points go up gave me a reason to keep going. I had intended on stopping at T7, but I was having so much fun doing everything I couldn’t stop. I took no longer than 12 hours without at least playing 1-3 hours after each break. I’ll miss playing leagues, but I am glad it’s over. I’ll need a nice break from grinding like that again.
H: What are your plans for 2024, both in real life and on Alora?
Charizard: I’ve recently started a new GIM on alora with some irl friends, I’ll likely be playing that from here on out as it’s something new and gives a nice challenge compared to my maxed gim. In life I don’t have any major plans. Just enjoying my family and friends when I can. Always aiming to be a better person/husband/father for my wife and kid.
Next up is FireH: Who do you most admire in life?Fire: I most admire my fiance in life, when life gets hard and is all over the place she's always my constant.H: What is a skill you'd like to learn and why?
Fire: I'd really like to learn drifting, It is very theraputic to watch and I feel like i'd enjoy it and be at home behind the wheel while sideways.
H: If you could witness any event of the past, present, or future, what would it be?
Fire: I would like to witness the first interaction publicly known with aliens or life from another planet. (as long as its a peaceful meetup)
H: What update would you like to personally see happen?
Fire: I WOULD LOVE to see some custom bosses added with new weapons and armor, nothing wild like AK-47's like other servers have, just reskins with same stats for current weapons, give us anime katanas, new glowing maces, flaming swords, etc. Not saying new power caps but like matches for a fang/rapier that can be achieved without needing a 4 man tob party. :BONUS: please add more boss pets for everyday things, give us a slayer pet (make it like 1/50k from any slayer monster and 1/200k for a transmog crystal or something), a barrows pet.
H: What are your plans for 2024, both in real life and on Alora?
Fire: I plan on working as much overtime as I can and saving for a house, in my spare time I would like to take as many motorcycle trips as I possibly can with my fiance and finally get married this summer. On alora I WANT TO FINALLY GET MY TBOW, 1115 KC DRY BAYBEEEEEEEE.

I think it would be really cool if you could queue to play LMS from anywhere in game.
LMS is a very fun minigame- mainly because of the randomisation of gear upgrades you get within the minigame.

Not for LMS, but for the "PVP arena".

Posted by I don't think this is that great of an idea for the following reasons.
1. We have yell. this is where players already advertise lfg/lfm.
2. Even if added, people will still use yell to lfm
3.People might forget that they are on there and by the time someone asks they may move on to other activites.
4.How would you keep it from not being cluttered? Would you get removed from logging out, if so what if you need to logout real quick come back then instead of typing in yell again you have to stop whatever activity you are doing and go back to the board to resign yourself up.
Too much of a hassle i feel like.

How would this benefit Alora?: Currently, the only way to get the rogue's outfit is through the vote shop. While voting stands to be a crucial part of maintaining the Alora player base, the Rogue outfit is the only skilling outfit not available through in-game content. Normally obtained through Rogue's Den, which isn't an option on Alora, adding the outfit as an equal to graceful or as a reward through Pyramid Plunder, you would cover the skills normally needed to obtain the Rogue outfit.

However, I do SUPPORT having different level slayer masters.
This is because we are missing out on a lot of various monsters for slayer, and just like my UIM i dont want to get 32 steel dragons as a task @ a very low cmb, if we were able to get spiders as a slayer task (outside Wildy tasks) then Sarachnis would be included as a 'Spider' task.

I've been here for.. idunno, several years on and off on different accounts and just decided to try and be more active in the community.
Other accounts i've had are Brodesseus, GIM but duo, Slurpy Derpy, and this.
I play games, build computers, and i'm basically a one man band and you can catch me ingame saying silly shit or giving advice in yell/alora cc
I've been playing RuneScape since late '03, and RSPS since Moparscape!
