Happy new years everyone!!  

I think my favorite memories this year on Alora is just some of the people I've met, but the top memory has to be deciding to come back to play Alora earlier in December and the 2nd or 3rd day back Moe hosted a boss mass and i ended up getting a 1 KC ACB and winning the prize for most spooned for that event 

Realistically this is useless af , just open the chest, if it's purple you get what you get? but since it's QoL I guess i support it

Welcome welcome  this server will serve you much better than osrs! Like other people have said there is a bit more QoL to the server than osrs has and there is pretty much always people willing to answer your questions in the Alora help CC and so on, so feel free to ask your questions! Plenty of guides on the forums here as well, many of them are all you need, some of them could use with a bit of an update but nonetheless they will give you a good idea of what to do.  Normal mode is quite a nice xp rate for getting stuff done quickly! Also, just to mention there's a handful of things on the server that are easier than osrs-- prime example being that for inferno, Zuk doesn't have any healers and of course the teleport wizard at home has just about any teleport you could ever need! and they have a great built in drop search function in game if you go to the quest tab and switch over to the red star(server statistics tab if you hover over it) and look for the drop searcher function, with that you can more or less find out what monster drops what and so on if you're unsure. Agree. Make people have to verify email and even enable 2fa to be able to post.. just in general it should be done for account safety but would also add a few roadblocks for spam bots.
