what is your suggestion?:  Implement hardmode ToB instead of just adding it to normal ToB so we get some new content.

Is this in OSRS?: Yes

Has this suggestion been accepted already?: No.

How would this benefit Alora?: This would benefit Alora in a big way I believe. There are a lot of "end-game" players that do the same grinds over and over and some may enjoy it but some new endgame content would be huge for a lot of players I believe. I understand that this just came out in OSRS today and don't expect it anytime soon. But if it was implemented into Alora I believe a lot more players would be interested in actually doing the raid instead of just adding it to normal mode and having more of an endless grind of an easy raid. Adding a reward that shows some kind of skill is also a thing many people play games for so if the new cosmetics are only able to be received from Hardmode ToB I also think a lot of players would take the time to learn it and actually put the time in, to have the new items to show off their grind. :)

Collection Log NPC

 

 

This is a simple NPC to update the collection log for users who received an item/pet before the log came out, and instead of needing to go and repeat a grind what ever it may be they simply use the said item/pet on the NPC and it updates their collection log. 

This will be specifically for untradeable items to avoid the ability to trade/buy from other players to update your own log without achieving it yourself.

List of Suggested items:

  • All Pets
  • Slayer heads (kbd/abby/kq/dark claw etc..)
  • Anglers outfit
  • Pearl Fish/Fly/Barbarian Rods 
  • Golden tench
  • Spirit anglers outfit (might not be necessary cuz of tempoross npc)
  • Raids Dust (chambers/tob)
  • Twisted ancestral kit
  • Carpenters outfit
  • Amy's Saw
  • Plank sack
  • Pest Control log
  • Farmers outfit + Gricollers Can
  • Pyromancer outfit

 

This list is comprised of items looked over Alora's Collection log for example, i may or may not be 100% accurate but this suggestion would probably make it easier for those that work towards filling their collection log and have achieved some items prior to the log being updated. This can also work towards the future when updates are released and the collection log isn't updated right away but a player receives that item in the first few weeks before the developers get around to having it activate, they can come a later time and use this NPC to update their log on untradeable items

Never did much PvM in OSRS; mostly did Barbarian Assault and played for fashionscape. Got my duo Queen pets, Penance and Kalphite, 4k Chompy Hat and Gold CW armour and called it a day. So I'm hoping to engage in some more PvM here as an EIM together with a friend of mine. Eventually completing the Inferno, and trying out the new things that have been added to OSRS since I stopped playing a few years ago.

I don't mean to make this as simple as it sounds. But claws really need an accuracy buff. The damage is there and all but for such a high tier'd spec weapon I find the majority of the specs being below 20. Testing at a few places such as cerb, melee hydra, or TOB, I find that the DDS is much more consistent in every way possible.

 

 

Also seeing that we are moving forward in PVP updates as well this could highly improve the pking spec weapon scene due to the fact the only practical special attack weapon to use is the AGS. 

 

 

The Dragon Claws do NOT need a huge buff but something a little extra in the accuracy section would highly improve PVM as well as PVP seeing claws can be used in all areas but hasn't been due to the lack of consistency when using.

Olm changes:
- When having the red circle at olm it should only hit the player underneath not next to you.

I'll leave Olm as it is for the rest for now since players wanted to keep this as it is.

Skeletal mystics changes:
- Way too accurate even through prayer, and also hit too much.


Tekton changes:
- Rather than tekton instantly throwing sparks at the start of the room he just waits at the anvil until you wake him up.
- When tekton is hitting the anvil the sparks are just too random, while when you walk 2 tiles each sparks you shouldn't get hit.
- Make Elder maul / Scythe / Lance / Rapier / Inquisitor's mace BIS again at Tekton rather than just blowpiping the boss.

Vasa changes:
- When vasa throwing rocks players should be able to evade them by moving 2 tiles. this is currently not possible.

Ice demon changes:
- Make Fire surge BIS at Ice demon.

- It could also be a fun idea to see the Arclight being used at Ice demon since it is a demon.

Prep room:
- When choosing the right click option to take a specific farming tool it still gives a new dialogue. Should just give the tool instead of a new dialogue.
- Make it possible to split potions. For example 4 dose overload, use it on the empty vial from raids to make 2 2-dose overloads.


Potions:
- Make elder / kodai / twisted potions boost to 120 without the perk of it staying at 120 (like ovls). It would just go down like regular potions but give an actual use throughout the raid.
- Make overload potions reboostable before timer ends, however if you boost before the timer ends, it will cancel the 50 heal hitpoints at the end of the timer and will damage you a total of 50 hitpoints for the new overload.
- The use of raid potions should give points, ofcourse with cap, like OSRS.

- Any raid potion (4), (3), (2), (1) should be insta visible upon dropping so potions like overloads can be properly shared.
- A little QoL for bigger raids would be that Vanguards/Tekton/Muttadiles would drop OvL's equal to players in raid. Split potions / insta visible pots will fix

Experience:
- Thieving room, experience per chest


Optional:
- Rather than already displaying the received drop in the chatbox, display:
[playername] has received a unique drop!


That way it would make opening the chest a little bit more fun after seeing the unique light, and when in teams, team mates know you have unique drop. After chest have been opened the current dialogue should come, which will reveal the drop.

This could also be added in the form of a plugin function.

Maybe after the rework is done, a Challenge mode would be fun content to enjoy as end-game players to set world records for specific group sizes. CM would be a full raid with increased damage, monster hp, points and better chance for loot as well as world records.
