When you think of donator zones, I understand the concern to not make them too “OP” or create a risk of dividing players but I will say it is a shame how underwhelming the current dz1 and dz2 feel, to the point where it’s basically useless post maxing. I know this shouldn’t be P2W, but you would think somewhere from 50-20k a new zone or added features to existing zones would make upgrading the ranks feel more rewarding (aside just the typical perks)

I personally have 0 use for both donator zones anymore.

But I get your points, it’s just an honest food for thought

keep crystal seed for zulrah imo

support to remove unnecessary announcements like dragon hasta and also curved bone

I don't think the donator zones need a revamp right now. A lot of QoL suggestions quickly cross the line into 'why play anywhere else?'. I personally like to see players gathered in main hubs, and if you add too much convenience to dz then it will just cause players to camp dz and make the rest of the game feel like the backrooms. New players might get turned off as well if main hubs look barren due to people mostly being in the donator zone. I think the current dz has a great balance of convenience.
 
To directly address some of your suggestions:
 

 
- Some bosses. Like KBD, GWD, and especially Dagganoth Kings. Dag Kings are sometimes an absolute nightmare during peak hours and packed with irons. Now these could be free or cost GP/be cheaper depending on rank.
 
You can already pay for private instances, cost scaling with your rank, so I don't see too much of a purpose other than driving traffic away from the tp wizard, which is already very convenient.
 
- A slayer cave with more stuff in it & Barrows NPC's so you don*t have to dig in the real barrows area
 
I disagree with these, it's nice to see other players running past you in the slayer tower to get to their task. I've never really experienced slayer areas being too crowded, maybe one time at abby demons? With the latter, you would never see people in the main barrows area again if there was a private area to just kill them all outside of their crypts
 
- Perhaps more higher end skilling spots to fish. Like anglerfish.
 
I actually like this suggestion, an angler fishing spot in the dz would be nice. I don't think any other type of fishing spot should be added, as it would take away from the fishing guild & catherby
 
- More farming patches, and whatever other skilling things that the current dz does not include
 
An herb patch would be a nice addition. A lot of people get herbs from pvm, so +1 herb patch wouldn't really change much I think
 
- Maybe some sort of daily boss or daily minigame?
 
Maaayyybeeee.. For me, Alora's appeal is that it aims to be very 1:1 with osrs, I don't really like when a server adds too much custom stuff. I think it would be hard to create something that feels authentic, and then balance it to not be too op but still be worth it for people to actually do (bcs if people aren't going to do it then why waste time making it)

To be honest, I wanted some sort of incentive other than just more skilling content.

It’s hard to find new ideas to have a proper balance, but recently I have felt that donator zones are truly useless.

I can see why you think some suggestions may not work, but keep in mind the “pvm” aspect or convenience aspect would he tailored for higher end of donators - for example by the time you reach these ranks you don’t really do barrows anymore so it’d just be nice if anything.

But I suppose any further addition and ideas are welcomed.

hmmm the wizzard on ::home is already good... idk why we need a tele at dz then... i feel what you saying about it... i dont use dz also not that much for skilling only ::dz2 for manta... 

 

if there comes a new dz/dz2 then it need in my eyes a zone what maybe is "overpowet" for a higer rank... like some bosses or mini games in that zone what makes it more special...

 

the ::home or tap to home and run to the wizzard is already ez to do idk what teleports you want to have there on the "new" dz???

If we dont get new donator zones, how about improving what it currently has to offer? The main point was to make donator zone feel a bit more special and useful, which I think we both agree on
