#430001 Make Monkey Function as "God Item"

What is your suggestion?: Add the 'god item' feature to monkey. For example, minions in GWD wouldn't attack you if you were wearing monkey since it would act as a 'god item' for each faction.

Is this in OSRS?: No

Has this suggestion been accepted already?: No

How would this benefit Alora?: In my opinion, it'd be very nice QoL and extra benefit for players who decide to comp. Also, this would be good for any UIM who doesn't have god items. From what I understand, most UIMs drop their god blessings since there is no way to store them, so this would greatly benefit them. Also, it's annoying getting hit for 50+ damage just running into the Nex lair if you don't have any ancient items. 

Anyway, imo this would just be a nice QoL overall. I can't decide if it's OP or not so I thought I would suggest anyway :P

EDIT: As many people have said this in replies, I agree that acting as an 'ancient' god item would be pretty OP. That being said, I think it would still be balanced for the rest of gwd :)

Well I never expected to be writing this post so soon.

 

What a journey it's been. From maxing the elusive Elite Ironman to having the opportunity to be a server moderator on one of the biggest OSRS RSPS's there is to offer. But with life, we must move on.

ICE chronicles v1 will be all about a recap of 2021 and the early days of 2022! The highs and lows of what was a successful year 

for the Men and Women in ICE. We hope you enjoy the read!

 

Chapter 1: Meet some of the team!

 

After multiple hours of IQ tests, 100s of rounds of skirbblo, and multiple ICE PKing trips venturing into an empty wilderness, two of our members have stood out in the eyes of our community. Two completely different individuals having the opportunity to showcase what really goes on upstairs.

How long have you been in ICE and what is your role?
Oh boy, I think I’ve been a part of ICE for 2 years. 
 
What has been your best moment in Alora so far?
 
If you could give a fresh player straight off tutorial island one piece of advice, what would it be?
It really doesn’t matter if you wear a rubber or not, if you’re playing an RSPS you won’t get anyone preggo.
 
Who is your favorite Tik-Toker?
Depends really, whenever a new person decides to do the challenge where you put your knife into an electrical outlet they’re my new favorite.
 
Who would win in a fight? A clone army of 20 @Danlsh’s or 1 giant Suqah?
Well, the Suqah, unless the Danlsh’s attack at night. Because we all know you can’t suqahdisssdiiick all day

How long have you been playing Alora?
I've been playing Alora give or take 10 months now. I've started playing on march 8th of last year when a buddy of mine wanted to try duos.
 
What are your current goals while playing Alora?
As of late, learning and getting good at raids lol. I'm able to handle myself but I'm fairly nooby. Maxing was my goal at the beginning and I've accomplished that so naturally next is monkey :)
 
What is your favorite part about Alora and why?
That's kinda tough but I think I'd say its community. Alora is a fun game but it'd be nothing without the people the make it fun to come here every day chat/banter with. Alora's runelite feature is something that not every RSPS has and I believe its what keeps most its players here too :)
 
What is your favourite music genre? 
I listen to most genres, kinda a hint of everything but it often just matters on the mood.
 
If you were stuck on an island and could chose 3 NPCs to join you, who would they be, and why?
are talking in-game or like a hypothetical in real life? cuz I'd choose mac, a maxed player. the old wise man, buddy knows shit that we dont and he's a wizard, and Bob because who doesn't like bob?

Another year, another empty bowl of cereal. If one thing ICE is known for it's that we have the tendency to grind. But that's not always the case.

As much as you and I hate them, It's always awesome to see some spoons!

Chapter 3: ICE Enters the wilderness

 

Just a bunch of Irons PKing like back in the golden days.

Chapter 4: ICE Events

 

Events have been flowing through ICE, with the likes of the Aftermath x ICE bingo and our recent event Santa's little helper. 

From weekly events to discord nights. ICE has got you covered.

 

In the month of March, ICE is happy to announce we will be hosting a King of the Hardcore event!

 

Overview of the event: 

When: March 2022

Event Duration: 2 Weeks

Prize Pool: 2b + 

 

Rundown: Players will begin on a fresh level 3 account and grind out the best items they can within the 2 weeks. At the end of the 2 weeks, competitors will battle it out in the wilderness in a 1v1 tournament style competition, where the top 3 competitors will win from the prize pool. However there can only be one winner.

 

There will be multiple challenges throughout the event, such as... First player to any 99 stat wins 150m +  

 

Keep an eye out on forums in the month of February for a full rundown of the event + sign-up thread! 

This is one you will not want to miss!

 

Chapter 5: Farewell 2021

 

In conclusion, 2021 was a year to remember. The friendships that were made, the soldiers that we lost to other Alorian militants. 

As the famous youtuber Steel Nogan would say CBA and we cannot wait to see what 2022 brings!
