Hello everyone,

We are officially back to our usual update schedule post-Leagues, and we’ve got a huge update we’ve been preparing that touches on a number of different areas of the game. The main component is that we’re partially release Varlamore, bringing about the Hunter Guild, Scar Essence Mine, the Stealing Valuables thieving activity, and much more. There are plenty of other updates that have been in the pipeline that are now getting released, such as the Costume Room Overhaul to allow you to store all of your cosmetics more efficiently and store partial sets and duplicates, and we’ve finally gotten around to adding Ambient Sounds to make your gameplay more immersive, meaning you’ll finally be able to hear birds chirping, the sounds of the ocean, and so many other sounds around you. Other noteworthy updates include the Spellbook Reordering plugin, Easter Event rewards at home, and Minimap Zooming on both the desktop client and mobile. We’ll let you read the rest below:

  • Post-League changes:
    • Trophy claiming now works for Ironman (PM me if you aren’t able to claim your trophies).
    • League Shop has been re-enabled with updated, lower prices as promised in the previous League thread.
  • Costume Room Overhaul:
    • We’ve completely re-done the costume room in the POH, boasting many new features, as well as many new storable items.
    • New Interface:
      • The interface has been upgraded to be more aesthetically pleasing, containing all the items for that storage container on a single page that the player can scroll through.
        • All of the items of the set will also be shown, rather than just 1 item, as it previously was.
        • Deposit mode:
          • Players can select the deposit mode button to either deposit a single item, or deposit all eligible set items.
        • Search functionality:
          • Players can click the search button to search for any listing in the container.
            • Items that are not in this container will not show up in the search interface.
        • Deposit All:
          • There is now a button to deposit all the eligible items into a storage container.
    • Partial Set Storage:
      • Players can now deposit parts of a set into the POH storage container, rather than needing to have the entire set to do so.
        • Previously if you tried to deposit a rune full helmet (t), for example, you need the platebody, platelegs, and kite shield to do so.
          • Players can now store each individually, as well as the variant items if available (skirts, for example).
    • Duplicate Storage:
      • Players are no longer limited to only 1 of each item/set being stored, and can now store as many of each item as they want.
    • Item Expansion:
      • We’ve added over 50 new items to the Toy box that were not previously available.
        • Many of these were items that were/are currently obtainable on Alora, so be sure to check your bank!
    • Ultimate ironman will be able to use the storage in the same way as normal players, with no restriction that requires them to have the entire set to store items.
  • Easter Event Rewards:
    • While we didn’t get around to running a full Easter event this year, you can speak to the Easter Bunny to obtain the following items:
      • Egg priest vestments
      • Book of egg
    • If lost, these items can individually be repurchased from the Lost items manager for 100,000 GP each.
  • Spellbook Reordering:
    • Players can now use the Spellbook plugin on the Runelite client to re-order their spells.
      • This works similarly to the prayer plugin, where players right-click the prayer tab to enable re-ordering, and they can drag spells around to the location they want them to be.
        • Players can also right click a spell while editing it and select the hide option to hide the spell.
  • League Trophy Awards:
    • Once this League ends, players who earn an in-game trophy will also automatically be awarded a forum award for that same trophy on their main account.
  • Stealing Valuables:
    • Players can now train thieving by robbing wealthy citizens in Civitas Illa Fortis!
      • This activity requires at least 50 thieving to do.
      • To do so, players can start by pickpocket wealthy citizens near the bazaar.
        • Every so often, urchins will cause a distraction, allowing players to thieve these wealthy citizens automatically (similar to the trickster relic), and without a chance of failing
          • Players have a chance to obtain house keys, which can be used to break into wealthy citizens’ homes.
      • There are 3 possible homes to break into (marked with a thieving icon on the world map), and at any given moment, players can break into one of the 3 homes.
        • Players must simply look for a home with a locked door indicating no one is home, and they can use a house key to enter the home, and steal from the various chests/dressers/jewellery boxes.
          • Every so often, a hint icon will appear above a thievable object, which will give players an exp/loot bonus.
        • Players will steal valuables from the homes, each one being worth 550 coins, and providing 45 base thieving experience.
          • Stealing from the marked object when it appears provides 14 valuables, and 630 base thieving experience.
          • Valuables can be sold to Oriana, who is standing outside of the bank near the homes.
      • Players will have 3 minutes to rob a house as much as they can while the owner is gone, and will be warned by a nearby urchin when the owners are returning home.
        • Players will need to exit out of a nearby window to avoid detection.
  • Hunter Expansion:
    • With the arrival of the Hunting Guild, we’ve decided to expand the Hunter skill and bring a lot of un-implemented content into Alora so that the rumours can be added to the game.
    • The following hunter content has been added:
      • Hunters’ Guild:
        • Rumours:
          • Players can now obtain rumours from various members of the hunter guild.
            • There members can be found downstairs within the hunter guild.
              • There are 6 kinds of contracts that players can obtain, each requiring a different hunter level, and providing different potential tasks/rewards.
                • Novice rumours
                • Adept rumours (from Cervus)
                • Adept rumours (from Orvis)
                • Expert rumours (from Aco)
                • Expert rumours (from Teco)
                • Master Rumours
              • The rumour will instruct players to hunt a certain type of NPC and obtain a special component from them.
                • There is a chance these npc’s will provide the rare part each time they’re caught, and once the part has been obtained, players can return it to the guild for a hunter loot sack.
                  • There is also a pity system, where if players go 2x the drop rate dry on the rare part, it will automatically be given to them.
                    • This pity rate is slightly boosted if the player is wearing the entire guild hunter set.
                • Once players have completed 10 rumours, they can claim a basic quetzal whistle blueprint from Soar leader pitri, at the top of the hunter guild tree.
                  • This can be used to craft a basic quetzal whistle, which can be used to teleport directly to the hunter guild.
                    • Players can also claim a torn enhanced/perfected hunter whistle blueprint at 100/250 completed rumours if they have not yet received a blueprint from the hunter loot sacks.
                      • These blueprints are not tradable.
          • Players can also use the hunter rumours plugin on runelite to keep track of their current rumours.
      • Meat Pouches:
        • Players can create the small and large meat pouches, which can be used to store raw meat obtained from hunter npc’s.
          • The small meat pouch can store up to 14 pieces of raw meat inside of it.
            • It can be made at level 35 crafting by using a needle (and some thread) on 4 pieces of fox fur, providing 30 base Crafting experience.
          • The large meat pouch can store up to 28 pieces of raw meat inside of it.
            • It can be made at level 65 crafting by upgrading a small meat pouch with a needle (and some thread) and 3 pieces of sunlight antelope fur, providing 60 base Crafting experience.
          • Both pouches can be used at the same time, however upgrading the small meat pouch to a large one will not transfer the meat within the pouch, so players will need to remake a small meat pouch to regain access to any meat left in the pouch.
      • Tecu Salamanders:
        • Players can now catch Tecu Salamanders in Varlamore at level 79 Hunter, for 344 base Hunter experience.
          • Most salamanders caught will be immature Tecu salamanders, which can only be released.
            • There is a 1/813 chance of catching a regular Tecu Salamander, which can be used as a weapon, similar to other salamanders.
          • The Tecu salamander works exactly the same as other salamanders, although it is stronger, and uses Irit tar as ammunition.
      • Embertailed Jerboa’s:
        • Players can now catch Embertailed Jerboa’s in Varlamore using box traps at level 39 Hunter, providing 137 base Hunter experience.
          • When caught, they provide a jerboa tail.
            • Players can use 5 Jerboa tails, a knife, some teak logs, and 5 Hunter spear tips to create Hunter’s spears.
              • These thrown spears require 55 ranged and 30 strength to equip, and use the player’s strength bonus to determine damage, rather than their ranged strength bonus.
      • Sunlight/Moonlight moths:
        • Players can catch these at level 65/75 hunter respectively (75/85 for barehanded catching), and provides 74/84 base Hunter experience.
          • If caught with a jar, players will get the following bonuses for releasing the moths:
            • Sunlight Moths:
              • Restores drained stats by 20% of the stat level + 6 (excludes hitpoints/prayer) and heals 6 hitpoints.
            • Moonlight Moths:
              • Restores 22 prayer.
      • All Deadfall content, excluding Maniacal monkeys):
        • Deadfall traps can be setup with some logs and a knife, and setting a trap up will consume the logs.
          • Players can only have 1 deadfall trap setup at any time.
        • Wild Kebbits can now be hunted in the Piscatoris hunter area at 23 Hunter, providing 128 base Hunter experience.

      • These can be deposited into the Ventriculus opening, and will be converted to tainted essence, at a rate of 5 essence per chunk.
        • There are 2 methods of extracting the essence:
          • Essence Orifice:
            • Players can use the Essence orifice to extract noted pure essence at a rate of 2 tainted essence for every 1 noted pure essence.
              • This process is completely free.
          • Extract Orifice:
            • Players can use this orifice to receive extracts, which can be used to gain extra runes while runecrafting; this process costs coins, so players will need to deposit coins into the nearby coffer.

      • Often-times, if there was a sub-menu available, any menu entries that were listed after it would not work properly.

[March 30th, 2023] [Client Hotfixes]

  • Fixed a bug where some border components  (such as on the trade interface) were in the wrong positions when using resource packs.
  • Fixed a bug where the xp drop plugin would not properly color the xp drops on the first hit, and when using a cannon.
  • Custom icons will now be hidden while a player is resting.
  • The compass sprite will now sit flush within the container, since it was previously a bit too small.
  • Fixed a bug where the Anti-drag and Item stats plugins would not work with the new bank interface.
  • Fixed a bug where the item prices plugin wouldn’t show tp/high alch values when hovering over items in the new bank interface.
  • The custom runelite top bar will now be disabled by default on Mac/Linux clients.
    • This option can be toggled on again through the runelite plugin settings.
  • OSRS interfaces will now be more centred, rather than offset to the left due to the minimap/inventory.
  • Fixed a bug with inventory presets not properly filtering the bank to withdraw items.
  • Added an option to the presets plugin for each preset to have the auto-equip/withdraw feature enabled.
    • This features works in tandem with the filtering option, so if a player enables this new option, it will automatically enable the bank filtering for that setup.
      • This also means that disabling the bank filtering option while the auto-equip setting is turned on will also automatically disable the auto-equip setting.
  • Fixed a bug where the click off interfaces setting was not working on OSRS interfaces, including the new bank.

[March 30th, 2023] [Server Hotfixes]

  • Fixed a bug where the Menu entry swapper left/shift-click swaps wouldn’t work for the withdraw all, all-but-one, and x options in the bank.
    • This also applies to the shift-click withdraw mode setting in the menu entry swapper plugin configuration.
  • Fixed a bug where the examine option wouldn’t work in the new bank.
  • Fixed a bug where players could get around the 40 defence requirement for the lunar spellbook by using presets.
  • Fixed a bug where the Iban’s staff and Sanguinesti staff were using trident charges to cast.
  • Fixed a bug where the Nightmare collection log was not counting Phosani killcount.
  • Fixed a bug with Vorkath's Acid splash attack not working properly.
  • Fixed a bug where setting the "Withdraw-x" amount in the bank would not cause the default left-click amount to update properly If the player had "X" selected as their default withdraw amount.
  • The “Set custom quantity” right-click option on the “X” button now works properly.
  • The “Placeholder” right-click option when withdrawing an item from the bank without placeholders on by default now works properly.
  • Rank tickets, GIM Removal tickets and GIM Name change tickets can now be transferred to non-normal game modes.

Hello everyone,

We're back with another round of updates, this time adding some updates that we're sure you're going to love. First and foremost, for those of you who are avid Dark mode users on your devices, Resource packs are now available on Alora! This includes many different skins that will recolor not only your game frame but also other other interfaces such as your bank. Speaking of banking, we've also overhauled the bank system, adding a plethora of new features including the Incinerator, being able to equip items in the bank, faster tab switching, more slots, and just a generally smoother experience. We've also brought some much requested changes, such as Theatre of Blood scaling, Nightmare drop rate boost, and more.

Rank tickets can now be purchased in our store, and these will essentially automate the custom donation process so that players don't have to reach out to us or use a middleman at all! If you buy a $100 Rank ticket, you can trade it to another player who can then open it and immediately have $400 added to their rank. There are two options for these tickets: $100 and $150, which give $400 and $600 towards rank, respectively. You can choose the quantity of each ticket you want to purchase, to reach the rank you're going for.

As we enter spring (and approach Easter), our Spring sale is officially live! Aside from plenty of discounted items, you'll also received 25% bonus tokens on all purchases, and even a bonus on our new Rank tickets. We've also brought back the infamous Easter box for a limited time, so make sure to get your hands on some Easter items while you can!

Store updates:

  • Spring Sale:
    • Our Spring Sale is now live! Enjoy 25% bonus tokens on all purchases, as well as the following discounted items:
      • Elite void set
      • Raid booster
      • Gauntlet booster
      • Mystery box
      • Cosmetic mystery box
      • Name change ticket
      • Slayer helmet ornament kits (TzKal, TzTok, Vampyric)
    • Limited items:
      • Easter box:
        • This item, similar to a Mystery box, can give you any of the following loot:
          • Fully bunny suit (comes together)
          • Full chicken suit (comes together)
          • Easter basket
          • Easter ring
  • Rank Tickets (In-game Custom Donations)
    • Custom donations for rank can now be easily purchased without having to wait for us to manually add them!
      • You can purchase either a $400 or $600 Rank ticket ticket, which cost either $100 or $150, respectively.
        • You can then open this in-game to instantly add either $400 or $600 to your rank, and your rank will automatically be upgraded if you reach a new threshold.
        • Rank tickets are tradable, so you can sell them to another player who can also immediately open them to add to their rank!
      • Unlike most items in the store, Rank tickets are not purchasable via tokens. They can be purchased at a set price of $100 or $150, so you'll have to purchase them separately on the new "Rank Donation" tab.
    • Promotion: During the Spring Sale, you will receive the $450 and $675 rank tickets instead (+$50/$75 more than usual) as a bonus!
  • Bank expansion scrolls update:
    • You can now use up to 2x expansion scrolls to unlock a total of +200 bank spaces (+100 from each scroll).
    • This brings the new maximum number of bank spaces to 1,200 (if you are the highest donator rank and also have your 2FA enabled).
  • Client Changes:
    • Shaded objects will no longer appear partially transparent when using GPU mode.
      • This issue was present in many objects (and even players/npcs), such as the grand exchange pillars, the walls in the demonic gorilla dungeon, etc…
    • Some very significant client changes have been made on the backend that cleaned a lot of visual issues up, and helped make some of the following changes possible:
      • The inventory/minimap/chatbox will now properly clip to the edge of the screen.
        • This was an issue on many players’ clients where these components would be floating a few pixels above the bottom of the client, or offset to the left of the right edge of the client.
          • These components should now always be on the bottom or right edge of the client.
      • Resource packs:
        • Players can now install the fully functional resource packs plugin through the plugin hub to customize their client with any resource pack they’d like.
          • This will work for nearly all interfaces, with the exception of a few custom sprites that will not be supported, so will still look like the old version.
            • This generally will not happen on newer interfaces.
    • The plugin menu now uses profiles, which track players plugins/settings, and can be easily switched between and imported/exported.
    • The plugin-hub button has now been placed at the top of the plugin settings menu.
    • The chatbox “Filtered” game tab option will now filter all spam messages from showing up in the main chatbox tab.
      • There are thousands of game messages, and we’ve had to manually identify which ones are considered spam, so there are bound to be a few messages that are incorrectly indicated, so please let us know if you find any.
        • We’ve generally tried to make important alert/one-time messages show up as game messages rather than spam, and have categorized most “unnecessary” or repetitive messages as spam.
    • Increased the maximum capacity of the chatbox messages so that messages won’t disappear after only 100 have been stored.
      • At any given moment, only up to 100 will still be visible, however messages won’t disappear as quickly anymore.
        • For example, previously, if there were 100 spam messages in the chat box, they would start to delete the older messages, even if the spam messages were being filtered.
          • We’ve increased this limit by quite a bit, so messages will take a lot longer to disappear in general.
    • Players can now install the C engineer: Completed plugin from the plugin-hub.
  • Bank Interface Changes:
    • We’ve updated the bank interface to match the OSRS version.
      • This comes with many quality of life changes:
        • Faster bank tab switching.
          • There will no longer be a 1-tick delay when switching between bank tabs.
        • Players can now remove placeholders from items in a bank tab by right-clicking that tab.
        • Incinerator:
          • Players can now drag items in their bank over the incinerator (if enabled in the bank settings) to completely delete the item stack, along with the placeholder.
        • Equipment interface:
          • Players can now access an equipment interface from the bank by clicking the button in the top-left corner.
            • From this interface, players can view their stats/weight/bonuses, and unequip or bank items that are currently equipped.
        • The search functionality should now also work properly, without resetting sometimes when players withdrew items.
        • Players can now right-click the new equipment button to quickly select a preset from the Preset plugin.
  • Well of Goodwill Top Contributor List:
    • You can now right-click the Well to view a list of lifetime top contributors, with the cumulative amount of gold that they have contributed to the well.
    • This list is fresh, so it'll only start counting after today's update, but it will not be reset at any point.
      • This allows players to see which other players of the community are contributing the most.
  • Theatre of Blood Changes:
    • Bloat's stomp attack now works properly, dealing 40-80 damage to any player within his line of sight when he re-awakens.
    • Most NPC’s are now immune to poison/venom.
    • Verzik Vitur’s second and third phase no only have 3,250 hitpoints rather than 3,500.
    • Players can no longer drain Verzik Vitur’s defensive stats.
    • Verzik can no longer be frozen.
    • Fixed a bug where damage from some attacks would register the phase 3 Verzik fight after she died.
    • Fixed a bug where Verzik Vitur’s stats were not updating properly between phases.
      • She was always using her phase 1 stats, causing her defence against attacks, and accuracy on players to be inaccurate.
    • Hitpoint scaling:
      • The hitpoint scaling system will now match OSRS, making it easier for smaller groups.
        • Previously, we would reduce the hitpoints by 5% for each player missing (with the exception of 25% for only one player).
          • The system will now reduce the hitpoints of bosses/Nylocas by 12.5% for each missing player up to a team size of 3.
            • So a 5-man will have the normal hitpoints, a 4-man will have a 12.5% reduction, and a 3/2/1-man will have a 25% reduction.
  • Nightmare loot changes:
    • Phosani's Nightmare loot rates have been made 10% easier across the board.
    • Drop boosters will have more of an effect a your chance to hit the Orb/Gear tables on rerolls, even in group Nightmare. As a note, this is a collective addition of however many players have drop boosters on in the party.
      • For example, if only 1/5 players has a drop booster on, that will contribute 5% (25/5) to the overall boosted rate.
        • If all 5 players have boosters on, the full 25% boost to hit the tables will be added.
  • Guardians of the Rift changes:
    • The Abyssal Protector pet was not being announced over yell/Discord.
    • You can no longer obtain the Abyssal needle twice (it will roll another item instead if you already have it / used it to create a colossal pouch).
    • The killcount on GOTR rare drop announcements was not being shown.
    • The Guardians of the Rift event bonus will now be applied to the final amount of attunement earned at the end of the game.
    • Fixed a bug where players wouldn't get the proper amount of GOTR catalytic/elemental points if they deposited too many at once.
  • Forum award changes:
    • Forum awards for Raid kill counts that are linked to capes (Eg. "Xeric's Guard 1" or "Sinhaza Shroud 4") have been reduced to the proper amounts, from:
      • 500/750/1,000/1,500/2,000 -> 50/250/500/750/1,000
    • The main titular Forum award for each raid (eg. "Theatre of Blood" or "Chambers of Xeric", not related to capes) has been set to 100 killcount.
  • Bug Fixes:
    • The colossal blade now uses the correct combat style interface.
    • The countdown for how long a mute will last when you try to speak should now show the correct number of hours remaining.
    • Fixed a bug where the NPC Drop Searcher would show the wrong amount of coins dropped (45% lower).
    • Fixed a bug where players needed at least 2 friends on their friends list to be able to tab-to-respond to a private message.
    • Vorkath will now only use his Ice freeze/Acid pool special attacks after every 6 regular attacks.
    • Added defence requirements to god-trimmed rune items.
    • Fixed a bug where the game would announce that players needed 100 master clue completions for the scroll sack, when in fact it was 150 overall clue completions.
    • Discord item drop announcements in the #game_news channel will now show the item icon.
    • The Theatre of Blood outside Rewards chest (to obtain unclaimed loot) was the wrong chest object, and is now the one right across from the bank.
    • Fixed a bug where Modern loot beams wouldn’t render as the proper object when the client was started in 2010 mode.
    • Fixed a bug where the wall textures in the Rogues’ den were incorrect on 2010 mode when using the GPU plugin or 117 HD.
    • The ring of 3rd age will now announce when obtained from a clue scroll.
    • Fixed a bug where drinking a liquid adrenaline dose just before it ran out would cancel the timer on the new dose.
    • Fixed a bug where the Vasa Nistirio crystals are now immune to range attacks and take reduced magic damage.
    • Kephriti now has a bank placeholder.
    • Phosani’s Nightmare kill counts will now be separately tracked from the nightmare’s killcount.
      • This means that player’s Phosani killcounts will now start tracking kills from 0, since we previously were counting the Nightmare/Phosani killcounts as the same killcounts.
        • A separate killcount on the Runelite hiscores panel has been added to show the Phosani kills.
    • Fixed a bug where the "Swap fill" option for runecrafting pouches using the menu-entry-swapper was not working.
    • Fixed a bug where players would visually clip through the Amethyst rocks when mining them.
    • Chinchompa splash damage can now target any npc within a 3x3 area of the targeted NPC’s south-west tile.
      • This includes larger npcs, as long as any of their covered tiles are within the 3x3 range.
    • Chinchompa splash damage will now deal damage from 0 up to the damage on the initial target.
    • General graardor will now only attack when he is within melee distance of his target.
    • Commander Zilyana will now only attack when she is within melee distance of her target.
    • The chinchompa splash damage no longer damages inferno pillars.
    • Players can no longer join a Nex fight once Nex becomes attackable.
    • Fixed various stretched mode bugs related to resizing the client/switching between resizable and fixed while using the GPU plugin.
    • Fixed a bug with the chatbox not being positioned correctly when using stretched mode on the fixed gameframe.
    • Fixed a bug with stretched mode not stretching correctly on the fixed gameframe.
    • The Double ammo mould will now double the experience gained when 2 bars are smithed.
    • Fixed a bug where box traps would stay on the ground indefinitely sometimes.
    • Fixed a bug where Reese's name in the chatbox dialogue was null.
    • Muttadile loot will no longer spawn on the water.
    • Fixed a bug where equipping the Tumeken's shadow with the equipment screen open wouldn't refresh the magic damage bonus.
    • The Tiny Tempor pet will now only be logged once in the collection log, rather than twice.
    • Players can now inspect the Kodai Insignia.
    • Bone bolts now properly provide +49 ranged strength.
    • The blood essence now properly works at the blood altar when using guardian essence.
    • Spirit flakes now double the amount of minnows rather than just giving 1 extra minnow.
    • Cooking Raw karambwans will not give 190 experience rather than 80.
    • The Al-Kharid shooting star's position has been moved a few tiles east so it does not overlap with the scoreboard.

    • The Attach option now works properly on the Cursed Phalanx item.
    • Fixed a bug when changing pages in the giant's foundry mould setup interface.

    • Fixed a bug where the TOA statistics board wouldn’t update a player’s personal best time properly for 5-man or larger teams.
    • Fixed a bug where noted crushed gems were only sellable for 1 gp each.
    • Dusk mystic will now properly be logged in the Collection log when obtained.
    • Fixed a bug with the music plugin not working properly.
    • Fixed a bug where the Elven crystal chest Infinity boots announcement would announce the regular Crystal chest count.
    • Morrigan's Javelins/thrownaxes now have placeholders.
    • Added a placeholder for Tumeken's Shadow (uncharged).
    • Players will now be automatically freed from Verzik's webs when she dies.
    • Players who do not contribute enough to get loot from nex will no longer get killcount either.
      • This was seen as a bug where players would get the killcount for dealing the minimum 100 damage, but would not get any loot, since their contribution was minimal.
        • As it stands, players must contribute over 25% of the average damage per player of the kill to get loot and killcount.
          • This means that if Nex has 5,000 hitpoints, and there are 5 players, then each player must deal over 250 damage to get loot (25% of 1,000 damage).
            • If there are only two players, then this threshold becomes higher, and to get loot each player must deal over 625 damage to qualify for loot/killcount.
  • Quality of Life:
    • Farming QoL:
      • The maximum number berries harvestable from a bush has been increased from 8 to 16.

      • Eg. You must complete the Hard diary to use this shortcut -> You must complete the Hard, Medium and Easy diaries to use this shortcut.
    • Rare drop announcement update:
      • The # of times a player has received a specific item will now be shown in a rare drop announcement.
        • Previously:
          • Omicron has obtained an Elysian sigil from Corporeal beast! (#4,522)
        • Now:
          • Omicron has obtained an Elysian sigil (2nd) from Corporeal beast! (#4,522)
    • Theatre of Blood room timers now start when player passes the walkthrough barrier, rather than at the end of the previous fight.
      • This will allow players to take a break before entering the next battle, without sacrifice their time record.
    • Players who are locked out of their account via 2FA will now be asked if they'd like to be taken to the Account Recovery section on the forums.
    • A confirmation window will now be shown when buying Mithril seeds, to prevent players from purchasing large amounts they accidentally.
    • Players can now select the "View-laps" option when right-clicking Grace to see their lap completions.
    • Players can now set an alchemy warning by right-clicking on the high or low alchemy spells.
      • This warning is set to 1m by default, which is what it was prior to this addition, but players can now increase or decrease the limit to whatever they’d like.
    • The Dragon 2h special attack now works properly.
      • The special attack will attack up to 14 npc’s and 3 players that are 1 tile away from the player.
    • The world map is now supported on Alora’s native HD, so HD players can now properly make use of it.
    • Vespula’s enrage attack will now only hit players if they’ve been within melee range of her for 2 ticks.
      • She will first scan 1 tick before she attacks to find eligible players in her perimeter, and will then attack them the next tick if they are still there.
        • This should fix the issue of players randomly being hit while running under vespula sometimes.
    • Clan leaders can now set a clan rank icon to any icon, even if they are occupied by one or more offline/online player.
      • Leaders will be warned that the icons will be removed before they can change the rank icon.

    • The Masori assembler will now go to the reclaimables shop and can be re-purchased for 100k.

    • Messages that take up more than one line in the chatbox will now take on the most recent color of that text, rather than the default color.
    • Fixed a bug where the Theatre of Blood health bars would not reflect the opponent info plugin setting right when the bar first appeared.
    • The Bone Dagger now has its special attack.
      • The special attack will guarantee a hit on the target if you were not the last player to attack the target.

    • Various fence/stone shortcuts have been added around the game.
    • The Player indicators plugin now properly shows custom rank/player icons if applicable.
  • Misc:
    • To account for increases in vote point boosts and the removal of a vote website, the price of Skin color tickets in the Vote shop has increased from 2,500 to 3,500 for all normal colors, and 6,500 to 8,250 for the Rainbow ticket, respectively.
  • Music Changes:
    • Added 80 new songs that are unlockable.
      • 50 of those are automatically unlocked when a player logs in, since they are from quests or inaccessible area.
        • The other 30 will be unlockable around the game, primarily in areas/dungeons around Darkmeyer, Prifddinas, and Kourend.
  • Gold Sink:
    • Players with at least level 47 Construction can now build a gold sink in their kitchen for 10 condensed gold bars, 5 mahogany planks, and 5 gold leaves.

Hello everyone,

We're back with another update! This time, we're introducing a brand new mini-game: Giant's Foundry! In this Smithing-based mini-game, you'll complete tasks by building different types of swords, earning you not only a worthwhile amount of Smithing experience but also Foundry points to spend on numerous rewards, ranging from a huge sword with an interesting passive effect, a Smith's outfit, the ability to double the number of cannonballs you can smith, and more. Aside from this, we've also added the ability for clan chat members to have a unique icon set in the chat, with over 250 different icons to choose from. Cosmetic mystery boxes have also received a huge revamp, with numerous new items that can only be found within these boxes, including two all-new items with unique movement: the Ring of Levitation and the Magic Carpet. Aside from these, we've implemented a ton of other content updates and QoL, have a look at the full details below:

  • Cosmetic Mystery Box Update:
    • The cosmetic mystery box has had many new cosmetic items added to it!
      • The following items are now available from the box:
        • Ring of Levitation
        • Magic Carpet
        • Attacker/Defender/Collector/Healer icons
        • Cursed Banana
        • Skis
        • Oddskull
        • Gold Coffin

  • Giants Foundry:
    • Players can now participate in the Giants Foundry Minigame!
      • This is a smithing minigame, where players will need to build giant swords for the giant Kovac.
        • To begin this minigame, players can reach the Giant’s foundry by using the teleport wizard teleport in the minigames menu.
          • Once there, speak to kovac to acquire a commission, then click on the mould to set it to the appropriate pieces that best match the description of your sword commission.
            • The higher the score, the more experience/gp you’ll earn, but it will also make the minigame more challenging.
            • After the mould is set, players can put in bars or equipment to add a total of 28 bars to the crucible, which can then be poured into the mould to create the Preform.
              • Players can add any smithable item that requires more than 1 bar to create, but the item will be worth 1 bar less than the amount required to create it initially.
                • For example, a rune plate body, which requires 5 runite bars to smith, will only be worth 4 bars when added to the crucible.
                • Players will create better swords that provide more experience/gp by mixing 2 types of metals to create a hybrid metal.
                  • For example, 14 Runite bars and 14 Adamant bars will provide more experience than simply 28 Runite bars.
            • Once the player collects the preform from the mould, they will need to shape and mould the sword according to the instructions given on the interface.
              • Occasionally, a “sweetspot” will appear, indicating by a yellow border around the interface, which, if the player clicks the proper tool during this period, will give them a large progress bonus.
            • Once the sword is completed, players can hand it over to Kovac to collect their reward.
    • Rewards:
      • After each sword is handed in, players will be awarded foundry points, equivalent to the total end quality of the sword they handed in.
        • Players can use these points to purchase the following items:
          • Various new moulds, which will help earn higher scores
          • Double ammo mould:
            • This provides 8 cannonballs, rather than 4, and does stack with the donator perks for extra cannonballs.
          • Smiths Outfit:
            • This outfit provides a 20% per piece (100% for set) to speed up anvil smithing actions by 1 tick, and increased progress on preforms in the giant’s foundry.
          • Kovac’s Grog:
            • This provides a guaranteed +4 smithing boost.
          • Smithing Catalyst:
            • Each time a catalyst is used, it’ll halve the amount of coal required per bar, and provide 2x experience when smithing.
              • The coal reduction effect does not work in the blast furnace.
          • Ore pack:
            • A consumable pack containing various ores within it.
          • Colossal blade:
            • A two-handed blade requiring 60 attack to wield.
            • The colossal blade has a passive effect that increases the wielder's maximum hit against larger enemies, where the max hit is increased by double the monster's size value, but at most by 10.
  • Lottery Board:
    • Players can now click on the Lottery board just behind the Lottery manager in the Edgeville bank.
      • This board can show players the last 10 Lottery winners, the amount they won, and the number of tickets they purchased for that win.
        • We previously did not track the amount of tickets purchased by winners, so this statistic will not show up for the 10 most recent winners, but it will for all future winners.
      • Players can also right-click the board to see the total amount of lottery tickets they’ve purchased.
  • Teleport Interface Update:
    • Players will now have the option to select their favourite teleports to easily access through the teleport wizard.
      • To do so, players must simply click the star icon on the left side of the teleport.
        • Once done, the star will turn from silver to gold, indicating that it is favourited.
          • To remove it, simply click the star again, and it should turn silver.
      • Players can click the “Favorites” tab at the bottom left of the interface to view all of their favorited teleports, and quickly access them.
        • This is where the donator zone button used to be.
          • The donator zone button has now been moved to the top of the interface, next to the search button.
  • Instances fix:
    • We are fairly certain that we've located the bug that was causing players to be kicked out of instances occasionally. There should now no longer be any collisions between maps.
  • News message revamp:
    • We've updated news messages to include icons, particularly when completing skill achievements, inferno/fight caves related achievements, pvp news announcements and completionist announcements.
  • Clan Rank Icons:
    • Owners of clans can now set custom icons for clan ranks, and individually for players.
      • To do so, clan owners must simply open the clan settings interface, and select the “Icons” option.
    • There are over 250 icons to choose from, which can be used for any rank/player (with the exception of the Moderator icons, which can only be applied to the appropriately ranked players).
      • Individual player icons will take precedence over custom rank icons.
  • Donator perks:
    • Donators will now get a discount when reclaiming their Dwarf multi-cannon from Nulodian:
      • Regular Donators will receive a 50k discount.
      • Super Donators will receive a 100k discount.
      • Extreme Donators will receive a 150k discount.
      • Legendary Donators will receive a 200k discount.
      • Uber Donators will receive a 250k discount.
      • Master Donators will receive a 350k discount.
      • Immortal Donators will receive a 450k discount.
      • Eternal Donators can reclaim the cannon for free.
  • Inferno Changes:
    • Players can now properly attack Tzkal-Zuk from the eastern side.
      • Previously, players would need to move at least 5 tiles away from the east side to reach zuk, even if they were technically in attack range.
    • The welcome screen no longer appears when logging in during a fight caves/inferno run.
    • Tzkal-Zuk and the Ancestral Glyph (shield) are now more synchronized.
      • A general strategy is to use these safe-spot tiles by moving to the next tile after Zuk attacks, which guarantees the player will not be hit by Zuk if timed correctly:
        • On Alora, this would only work sometimes, until the shield and Zuk’s attacks became out of sync.
          • This will no longer happen, and players can use these safe spots throughout the entire fight.
  • Chambers of Xeric Storage Interface:
    • The Chambers of xeric storage interfaces have been updated.
    • The Shared storage interface now has a button at the top to allow players to quickly switch between it and the private storage interface, rather than having to close the storage interface and interact with the unit again.
    • The private storage interface has been changed to match OSRS.
      • This interface now has a deposit-all and withdraw-all option.
      • This interface also has a button to swap between the private and shared storage units.
  • Hellhound Ensouled Heads:
    • Players can now obtain ensouled heads from hellhounds/Cerberus.
      • These ensouled heads can be traded in for 200k each with Nieve.
      • They can also be used at the Dark altar with the Reanimation spell for 1,200 base Prayer experience.
  • Guardians of the Rift changes:
    • The Great Guardian will now wait before closing the guardian portals after he is fully powered up.
      • Players will have ~20 seconds to finish crafting their runes and powering up the guardian, after which point the game will end normally.
    • The Great Guardian's healthbar will no longer show up through the Opponent info plugin.
  • Inventory Preset Changes:
    • Inventory Presets will now be account-specific.
      • This means that players will only see the inventory setups that have been made on that specific account.
  • Teleport Changes:
    • Teleport Tablets:
      • The Watchtower teleport tablet is now functional.
      • Players can now use the alternate options on the Varrock, Camelot, and Watchtower teleport tablets.
        • This includes the “Toggle” option, which allows players to set their preferred default teleport location when left-clicking the tablets.
    • Spellbook:
      • The Varrock, Camelot, and Watchtower teleports can now be configured by right clicking the spells.
        • Doing so will allow players to set their preferred teleport destination between the options for that teleport spell.
  • Creature Creation:
    • Players can now enter the basement in the Tower of Life to create creatures of various kind.
      • Once in the basement area, players can use the various Symbols of life to spawn different varieties of creatures.
        • Players can only spawn one of each creature at a time, and to spawn the creature, players will require the necessary components.
          • Inspecting the Symbol of life will tell the player which 2 components are required.
    • Creatures:
      • Newtroost: Requires 1 eye of newt and 1 feather to create, and drops 4-10 eyes of newt.
        • Completing the Ardougne medium diaries will note the eyes of newt.
      • Unicow: Requires 1 unicorn horn and 1 cowhide to create, and drops 2-4 unicorn horns.
        • Completing the Ardougne medium diaries will note the unicorn horns.
      • Spidine: Requires 1 red spiders’ eggs and 1 raw sardine to create, and drops 3-6 red spiders’ eggs.
        • Completing the Ardougne medium diaries will note the eggs.
      • Swordchick: Requires 1 raw swordfish and 1 raw chicken to create, and drops 10-40 feathers.

  • Client Changes:
    • Monster Menu Hp Plugin:
      • Players can now access the Monster Menu HP plugin through the plugin hub.
        • This plugin will allow players to see the remaining hitpoints of an enemy when right-clicking them.
    • Players now have access to the Bossing Info plugin through the Plugin-hub.
      • This plugin provides various kill times, statistics, and utilities for bosses.
    • Menu Entry Swapper Changes:
      • Players can now set custom left-click and shift-click actions on their worn equipment.
        • To do so, simply hold shift and right-click an equipped item, and you’ll have the option to select the custom shift/left click option.
      • Players can now more easily set their left/shift click options for inventory items by holding shift and right-clicking the item, rather than needing to right-click the inventory tab.
    • Inventory Tags Changes:
      • Players can now set/remove inventory tags for items by holding shift and right-clicking the item in their inventory.

        • This can be done for 50 Slayer points, and once a task is stored, players can take it as their main task for free.
          • If a player already has a task when trying to take their stored task, they will not be able to override their current task, but rather prompted to remove their stored task to make room to store their current task.
    • Vampyre Slayer Task:
      • Players can now unlock the ability to obtain Vampyre Slayer tasks from Nieve/Konar.
        • Konar will assign Vampyres in Slepe or Darkmeyer.

        • Players must unlock this task through the slayer shop for 80 slayer points.
  • Puro Puro Changes:
    • Players can now access a new Puro Puro instance that uses the same spawn mechanics as OSRS.
      • When a player teleports to Puro Puro through the teleport wizard, they will now be prompted with an option to access the OSRS Puro Puro area.
        • This area is similar to the regular one, except for the way that the implings spawn.
          • Regular implings (baby, young, essence, eclectic) have static spawn locations, and will respawn in these locations a few seconds after being caught.
            • This allows players to farm a specific type of impling more consistently.
          • Rare implings (nature, magpie, ninja, dragon, lucky) have 1 spawn in each corner, and once caught, a new random rare impling will respawn within 30-60 seconds.
            • The lower the tier of the impling, the higher the spawn rate of it.
