I think I'd lose my mind.

Besides getting another topic re-opened to update it, just wondering if people would be interested in seeing the results of opening 500x of each impling?

Going for 200m Hunter, and figured I'd give myself a bit of a side-quest out of pure curiosity of the outcome for myself.



Not too far off, maybe half way there just about? But yeah, throw your opinions my way! Whether 500 of each is too much, maybe go for 250 of dragon/lucky due to the sheer time that might take? I don't know.

Looking forward to hearing your opinions!

I've been part of this community for 3 or so weeks now and it's the best community I experienced by far.

Nice progress! Honestly you should post a new topic everytime you do a update so more people know that theres an update. I didnt even know there was a progress update until I saw the shoutbox lol (idk how many people check it but i usually dont). but keep it up you're doing great.

(I made the same introduction in the Goals and Achievements area of the forum but I wanted to formally introduce myself to the whole community.)

I'm new to Alora, and I thought why not make the time I play on this server fun so I decided to
set the challenge of maxing every skill to it's XP cap..

One at a time.

On an HCIM account.

I'll be updating this post every time I hit a milestone, get a nice drop/pet, any random occurrences..

And finally hitting 200m XP in a skill of course.

I'm don't doing this in the fastest way possible, I'm going to make it fun including different ways of gaining loot via skilling
as well as collecting high kill counts of mobs whilst maxing skills out so I hope you all look forward to that.

I'm beginning this challenge with thieving so I'll be at the stalls in Edgeville for awhile, so come say hi.

For future skills, let me know ideas you have of ways I can gain XP whilst doing some fun stuff. If I like your idea, I'll
dedicate 25m XP to that idea.

I'm only a few days into this journey and the first official update I will post will already have a great twist, so I'm excited to share this journey from start to finish with you all.

I appreciate all the kind words and praise! This week's update should come on Sunday afternoon and there's already been a great finding making this challenge REAL fun early game and helps set the route of skills I want to take.

WEEK ONE

SO! We've made big progress! But we've also found a crux in this challenge..

HP will be trained no matter what, so I have allowed the training of HP alongside all skills.
 

So that's what I did.

I got my Ardy 1 cape and as predicted, an XP Lamp which went straight onto HP allowing for some breathing room to do hero pickpocketing.




Also, that easy task list is the ONLY set I can do until I max out thieving. So this single mechanic has made this playthrough super interesting.

16/08/2022 | 99 Thieving achieved

20/08/2022 | Thieving pet claimed at 29.2m XP



21/08/2022 | Random Events set complete

My time has been pretty stretched as I'm working two jobs currently so having that time to grind is tough.

But I did manage to get another pet drop so that's funny.   

Hopefully I'll have more to report next Sunday, have a great week everyone.

WEEK THREE

ALRIGHT, here we are! Three weeks into our journey!

We've made some serious progress since last weeks lack-lustre numbers which is fantastic.

Since being at 32m XP last Sunday, we're now sitting at a pretty 53m XP!

Which also means one more thing..


We're now sitting in 4th in the HCIM Thieving Highscores!

But this also leads us onto our next task.. Taking 3rd.

This means this week I aim to gain at least 28 Million XP.

And then just the final major grind, 200M XP. 

BESIDES THAT.. I've gained another two pets so that's a thing, as well as using my vote points to earn the rogue set. (MAKE SURE YOU GO COLLECT YOUR VOTES!)

I want to begin giving a shoutout to anyone on a new journey that I'm interested in so here we go:

WEEK FOUR

A short but sweet update for you all this week, mega late due to some IRL stuff but here we are.

Finally after four weeks we've reached Ranked 3rd HCIM in Thieving! Whey!



So this brings these updates to an interesting point because for the next 4-5 weeks will JUST be XP updates. Which is boring.

Doing Thieving the way I'm doing it is borderline torture as many people I've spoken to during my time in Alora so far can agree.

So I'm making the decision to stop the updates until I've completed the 200M XP goal.

So with that said.. See you all in about a month. :)

WEEK FIVE

SO.. About that month break from updates..

I've got ONE MORE week of content for you guys before I actually go radio silent until I max Thieving.

This week I've been doing some other fun stuff, one which I'll reveal the results of during my WEEK SIX update.

Mainly, I decided to complete all of the Thieving skill related Achievement Diary tasks which goes as follows:

Pickpocket Master Farmer North of Ardy x35

Pickpocket Men in Lumby x25

Pickpocket Master Farmer in Draynor x35

So that's all the possible tasks ticked off until the next skill.

This was genuinely really fun, although it took me literally 10-20 minutes, doing something different from pickpocketing Heroes in Ardy was a huge difference.

Definitely made me appreciate the smaller activities and variety of content there is in Alora and Runescape.

Anyway, back on to the second lil' project I'm doing as a bit of a break from Heroes.

I'm going to be spending from the 19th, to the 23rd of this month just Pickpocketing from the Master Farmer in Draynor.


This is sort of a mixture of, me needing a break from the massive 100m grind I've been on and helping myself set up for 200m Farming XP whenever I decide to take that challenge on.

We're now sitting at 112m XP in Thieving and we're getting SO CLOSE to finishing this skill, I'm super excited to move onto the next skill and I can't wait to share it with you all.


Oh also I got my 5th Thieving pet. Lil' Rocky V.

With all that being said, I'll catch you all next week with my next update. :)

WEEK SIX

OKAY! Hey guys, I'm back with week six of updates! A tad late as I've been a bit busy with work and such, but here we go!

Last week I mentioned I was staying at Draynor Master Farmer for a few days, and the results we're definitely interesting.

So all of these seeds are what you could potentially gain from staying there for 3-4 days, pretty cool honestly.
(The herb seeds being the main focus, the rest a basically placeholders)

Is it worth it for a casual player? Hell no. For a HCIM wanting to play it safe or just wanting an easily AFK method with no rush? Sure, why not.

Besides that my week was pretty uneventful, that was the main part of what I did really and once I finished the 3-4 day task I went back to pickpocketing Heroes in Ardy.

We're sitting at 120M XP right now, and climbing slowly. I'm in no rush to gain the 200M right now, and now I've done that last fun task I'm definitely not going to be doing huge updates until I reach it.

So this time, meaning it seriously not like week five.. I'll catch you all when I'm done. :)

COMPLETING THIEVING.
 

         Finally after WAY too long, I've finished Thieving! 200M ACHIEVED!

Apparently in my absence, we lost a HCIM meaning I was able to take 2nd on the Leaderboards! But fear olivia 100% hit max before me so I should be 3rd.. but I'll take it. :/

BEGINNING AGILITY

Here we go! So to begin I had to find what stuff I wanted to unlock on my path to maxing Agility and I found a few things:

 

Full Graceful (Normal and Coloured)

Ring of Endurance
Dark Acorn
Agility Pet

Amylase (For future Stamina Potions)

 

So after figuring out those few things, I began Agility as well as smashing through afew Achievment Diary tasks which include the following:

 

Complete the Gnome Agility Course 10 Times

Complete 25 laps at the Draynor Rooftop Agility Course

Cross the stepping stones in Brimhaven Dungeon

Complete 20 laps at the Barbarian Agility Course

Complete 35 laps at the Seers Village Rooftop Course

Complete 30 laps at the Wilderness Agility Course (Terrifying..)

Complete 50 laps at the Ardy Rooftop Course

 

 

I also smashed out a Duel Arena task (10 Duels task) which was nice to get out the way.

Shoutout to quest line for the help! Also my first Morytania task completed.

 

The Achievement Diary is looking a little better after being able to complete Agility tasks and a few odd tasks I never got around to.



There may be like, one or two tasks I've not done yet that I 100% can do, so they'll get done at some point.
 

HOPEFULLY.. I can  gain myself some more XP Lamps for Hitpoints at some point, I don't think it'll be any time soon though.

 

I managed to get the pet at 94 Agility

 

 

Eventually gained 99 Agility!

 

 

Now I had hit 99 Agility.. I have a big ol' grind to get up to 200m Agility..So why not try collect the full Graceful Set?

 

Consider that done, but I'm not completely done yet, I want to gain a 2nd Graceful Set that I will turn into a Dark Graceful Set just so i can have both PURELY just so my bank looks nice. :/

 

And finally, it's not all sunshine and rainbows..

My dumb ass accidentally spent 300 Vote Points on a piece of the cannon. So I guess I'm going to have to complete that as a little collection set now.. (Ugh..)

 
The absolute bane of my life. 

ANYWAY! Our position on the Agility Leaderboard is within the Top 10! Which I can't really complain about, I'm going for Top 2-3 by the time I hit 200M Agility as I expect at least
somebody else will get there before me.

That's all for now, next update will be sometime next week, I want to atleast try and hit 50M XP before the next update so I'll see you all then!

So I thought I edited this last week and what I did is not here anymore.. So.. Here's everything that magically vanished last week.

One Year Later..

 So.. It's been a minute. :/

Long story short; life got in the way. But here we are.

So since the last update and the last week or so, I've managed to get myself to Rank 2 on the HCIM Agility Leaderboard.


(This screenshot is a week old.. We're at like 124m XP now, still 2nd of course but a bit more XP)

I've also managed to deal with the pain in my ass from a year ago.. And I've completed the full Dwarf Cannon Set. Woo.



Look at that, the full thing in all it's glory.. And waste of vote points.. I'm not crying.

Anyway..

I've also completed the entire Rooftop Agility Course Collection Log, pretty cool n' stuff.


I'm also working on collecting as many sets of Graceful as I can.. So I'm hoping I'll end up with a few colour options when I want to throw on full Graceful.



Currently collected almost 2 sets, probably would've had to full sets if I didn't accidentally buy an extra hood and coloured it purple but hey, at least I know what my 3rd colour will be.

Overall, I think after doing some really bad maths.. I'm currently sat at 2.8k laps of Ardy Rooftop Course.. And I'll need another 3000-3500 ish to reach 200m XP. Fuuunnn..

I'll probably do the next update either if I get something cool.. Or if I reach 200m XP. Not really decided yet but it took me a year to update this thing so I may end up being gone until 2025. Who knows.

It's great to come back and update this thing though, definitely missed playing Alora. Catch you all next time on the next update.
