Emblem upgrade / pkp

What is your suggestion?: Reduce risk amount to be able to receive pkp / emblem upgrade when pking someone else.

Is this in OSRS?: n/a

Has this suggestion been accepted already?:prob not

How would this benefit Alora?: I speak for myself and many others when i say that it's really annoying to spend time daily trying to find targets / people in wilderness just to not receive an upgrade or pkp most of the time because people don't risk enough for the system.

 

Only place that guarentees upgrade/pkp is within revs because of the entry cost.

 

I see many people 1iteming bosses with noxious halberd/ crystal halberd so they dont waste supplies and items. Due to teleport wizard being OP they take advantage of that, which isnt a big deal in my opinion but, it is quite annoying to Teleport deep wilderness, kill your target, waste couple mins for no upgrade because they don't risk enough.

 

Currently getting loot keys worth around 80k and still not worthy enough for upgrade.

 

Pretty please, fix this issue for pkers, wilderness is already quite inactive for the most part.

 

***Reminder that players cannot pk multiple time the same person over and over to gain pkp/upgrades due to a 30min interval or so. So no, this would not be too OP.

 

**Edit** Suggestion based off comments/ideas: Killing anyone in the wilderness should grant the pkp they would usually receive if they risked but not grant an emblem upgrade unless they risk.

The new risk should be 25k or 50k, depending how Omi feel like.  Right now the risk needed is way too high.

How would this benefit Alora?: Would stop people from being giga baited and would reduce suicide rate in Alora.

Angerfish Xp rate

What is your suggestion?: Buff Angler's fishing xp

How would this benefit Alora?: Would make another option to train fishing other than Manta rays.

 

 

 

Currently, manta rays offers best fishing xp in the game, even tho anglerfish is a higher level fish.

Reason of that: on osrs, manta ray fishing isn't in the game, you can only get from fishing trawler / tempeross rewards.

So, the xp rate attributed to them is completely customized, so i suggest the same to be applied with anglers.

 

So i think there should be a little balance when it comes to fishing in alora right now. Doesn't make sense manta rays offer better xp rate/hour than anglerfish in the wilderness (+25% skilling xp rate in the wilderness & faster catching rate for being in skilling ressource area)

While, on top of that, could get pked at any moment.

 

 

Zeah Anglerfishing won't become a problem because you catch anglers 10x slower than mantas as of right now (unless if you use diabolic worms, which lowers ur xp rate anyway).

 

 

Suggesting 1.5x better xp upon catching Anglerfish.

 

Mantas will remain fastest xp/hour due to faster catching rate vs anglers.

Blast Furnace NPC store

What is your suggestion?: Let all players being able to buy/sell ores to Ordan's store (blast furnace)

Is this in OSRS?: Yes

Has this suggestion been accepted already?: dnt think so

How would this benefit Alora?: Currently Ironmen can buy ores but cannot sell their ores.

I noticed normal,classic,realism modes don't have ores in the stores, i think that should be added for them too. Correct me if im wrong.

There's few reasons why one would wanna do that:

-to make gp selling their ores

-to sell their noted ores when shop is deplenished to make the shop filled quicker.  Then buy back unoted ores for faster trips (xp hour).  At the price of losing gp from buying back at higher prices than sell prices.

 

Suggesting 40% gp loss selling ores compared to the buy price.

EX: gold ore buy price is 2500 gp, sell price should be 1500 gp.

 

 

From this suggestion, i notice only pros and no cons, let me know what you think.

On top of that it is on OSRS so why not?


Runecrafting - Blood & Wrath Altars

What is your suggestion?: Buff Teleports location for blood & wrath runes

How would this benefit Alora?: Currently blood runecrafting and wrath runecrafting with pure essences is very unpopular due to bad xp rate per hour, because the teleports are way too far away compared to death altar and others via dark mage.

 

Currently, death runes gains the most xp in runecrafting. Blood & wrath runes are 3-4x worse in terms of xp rate per hour. Not only do you get less xp, but you also get less runes (obviously).

 

Suggesting:

 

-Wrath altar option thru dark mage like there is for 12 other altars (death,blood,cosmic, etc).

With these potential changes, Death runecrafting will still remain fastest xp rate with dark mage method. (due to TP being very close to altar)

 

Before you say this will be TOO OP or dislike for any reasons, you have to understand that there are easier ways to grind/farm blood runes and wrath runes than this suggestion.

 

This suggestion only makes another way to grind runecrafting while getting decent xp rates and a decent amount of USEFUL runes other than deaths or souls (curently most popular ways to train RC).
