Some solid rewards are up for grabs! I honestly didn’t think I’d be back on the game until the new year, but this event twisted my arm. I can never say no to Leagues. Hope everyone has a good time playing over Christmas, and good luck to anyone going for it competitively.

Competing for the highest post count on private server forums used to be such a fun rollercoaster. As much as I love Discord, it’s a shame how much it’s taken away from traditional forums.

Not Alora-related, but getting the infernal cape in OSRS was my biggest achievement. It pushed me harder than anything else in the game, so finally earning it felt unbelievably rewarding... And now I can practically do it with my eyes closed (not literally).

My favourite pets are definitely the Wildy ones. They just look sick, and they’re way more unique than most other pets. But the real reason is the challenge behind getting them. You actually have to survive the Wilderness, take the risk, and still pull the drop. So when you finally get one, it feels like a legit achievement. It’s like a little badge that shows you made it out alive with something rare to show off.

I’m a returning player who was active from 2017 to 2020. I never really left... I just drifted away casually, but kept lurking the forums now and then. I’ve been around RS since 2004 and RSPS since 2007, though I haven’t been too active in recent years. Lately, I’ve been trying to find a little time to escape reality and game again.

I recently got back into OSRS as a casual player and set myself the goal of getting the quest cape. I’m currently at 168/175 quests, so getting there slowly but surely.

Even though I enjoy OSRS, I always end up thinking back to the golden days of the RSPS scene and all the good memories and friends I made, which is probably why I always find myself coming back. Alora still gives me that nostalgic feeling that no other RSPS really does nowadays. Crazy how long Alora has been thriving. Props to Omicron and the team!

Anyhoo, I figured I’d stop lurking as a guest, make a fresh account, and join the community again. I plan to hop back into the game once I hit my OSRS goal.

I honestly can’t remember what my old usernames were, but I still recognise a lot of familiar names around here. Always great to see long-time, dedicated community members still active.
