Allow Mined Shooting Star Items to Go Directly to Bank When Inventory Is Full

23 August 2026 - 05:29 AM

What is your suggestion?:

I think Shooting Stars could use a small quality-of-life change where the resources obtained from mining a Shooting Star are automatically sent to your bank when your inventory is full.

Currently, if your inventory fills up while mining a star, you can no longer mine it until you make room in your inventory. This is especially problematic with Shooting Stars because they don't last very long and there is already a race to get to them before they're depleted.

Is this in OSRS?:

idk

Has this suggestion been accepted already?:

no

How would this benefit Alora?:

This wouldn't increase the amount of resources a player can obtain from a star or make the stars more rewarding. It would simply remove unnecessary downtime and make the existing mechanic feel smoother.

If your inventory is full, the resources you mine could automatically be deposited into your bank, assuming there is room for them/a placeholder exists. If the bank is also full and there is nowhere for the item to go, the normal inventory-full behavior could remain.

The main benefit would be that players wouldn't have to leave a Shooting Star just to bank their resources, especially when the star could disappear while they're gone.

Alora has already used similar bank-overflow functionality for other systems, so I think this would fit well as a QoL improvement.

Shooting Stars are already very competitive because of how quickly they can be depleted.

This change wouldn't make the stars last longer or increase their rewards—it would simply prevent players from losing mining time because their inventory happened to fill up.

Add player count to Alora Puro Puro

21 August 2026 - 08:24 AM

What is your suggestion?:

Add the current player count to the Alora Puro-Puro option when selecting which Puro-Puro area to enter.

The OSRS Puro-Puro options already show how many players are inside when selecting them, but the original Alora Puro-Puro option does not.

Is this in OSRS?:

no

Has this suggestion been accepted already?:

no

How would this benefit Alora?:

I think this would be a small quality-of-life change that would help players make more informed decisions before entering Puro-Puro.

As a regular account, I'm aware that Ironmen frequently use Alora Puro-Puro for implings and that there can be frustration when multiple players are competing for the same high-level implings. I try to be considerate of that, but currently there is no way to know whether the Alora Puro-Puro area is completely empty or already being actively used without actually entering it.

For example, if I wanted to catch some implings and saw that Alora Puro-Puro had 0 players, I could enter knowing that I'm not potentially disrupting someone else's grind. If it showed 1–2 players, I could instead choose an OSRS Puro-Puro instance or come back later.

I'm not suggesting that Alora Puro-Puro should become instanced, nor am I suggesting any changes to the spawn rates or mechanics. I understand there are reasons why the Alora version is designed as a shared area.

This would simply add the same player-count information that is already provided for the OSRS Puro-Puro instances.

I think it's a relatively small QoL change that could help reduce unnecessary competition and make it easier for players to be considerate of one another.

Put Hespori seeds in Vote Shop

What is your suggestion?:

To put Hespori seeds in the Vote Shop

How would this benefit Alora?:

I’d like to suggest adding Hespori seeds to the vote shop.

Currently, the only realistic way to obtain Hespori seeds is through farming, and it takes a considerable amount of time just to access a boss whose rewards don’t have much value on Alora.

The main rewards from Hespori are:

Untradeable seeds.
The Bottomless Compost Bucket, which has little to no use on Alora since compost isn’t necessary for farming.
Completion of the single anima patch diary task for the Kourend & Kebos Hard Diary.

After completing the diary requirement, there’s very little incentive to continue farming for Hespori seeds just to fight the boss again. As a result, Hespori ends up being content that most players experience once or twice and never revisit.

Adding Hespori seeds to the vote shop would:

Give players a practical way to revisit the boss without spending excessive time farming for access.
Increase participation in otherwise underused PvM content.
Add another worthwhile option to spend vote points on.
Encourage players to continue interacting with content that is currently abandoned after the diary is complete.
Since the boss’s rewards aren’t especially valuable or game-breaking, making access easier shouldn’t have a significant impact on the economy or game balance. Instead, it would simply make an overlooked piece of content more enjoyable and worth doing.

Suggestion: Define a Clear Vote Book Limit

Suggestion: Clarify Rule 17a or Implement a Hard Daily Vote Book Limit

I would like to suggest a revision to Rule 17a regarding vote-book manipulation.

Currently, Rule 17a states:

“Manipulating the voting system to obtain excessive amounts of vote books will result in the punishments above.”

My concern is that the phrase “excessive amounts of vote books” is subjective and does not provide players with a clear understanding of where the line is drawn.

The game already regulates vote-book claiming through a built-in 5-minute cooldown. Because the system itself permits players to continue claiming vote books indefinitely, a reasonable player may assume that any amount obtainable through the game’s mechanics is acceptable.

The issue becomes even more confusing because staff have explicitly stated that using multiple devices to vote is allowed. If multiple devices are permitted, then obtaining additional vote-book authentication codes through those devices is an intended and allowed outcome.

However, players may still be punished for claiming an “excessive” amount of vote books.

This creates a situation where:

* The method is allowed.
* The resulting vote-book codes are obtained through an allowed method.
* The amount that becomes punishable is never defined.

As a result, players are left guessing where the line is.

Without a published threshold, there is no objective standard for players to follow.

I also believe it is important to point out that it is possible to accumulate a large number of vote-book codes without ever using a VPN.

Examples include:

* Using multiple devices that have different IP addresses.
* Switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data.
* Voting from different legitimate networks such as home, work, or school.

Because of this, a player can potentially reach the same result that staff consider “excessive” without ever violating the VPN voting rule itself.

This means that players may be punished based on an outcome rather than a clearly defined prohibited action.

Additionally, the current wording may lead to inconsistent enforcement. One staff member’s interpretation of “excessive” could differ from another’s because no objective numerical limit currently exists.

If Alora already has a maximum amount of vote books that staff consider acceptable, then that limit should be communicated to players. If no such limit exists, then it becomes difficult for players to know whether they are complying with the rule.

I believe one of the following solutions would greatly improve clarity and consistency:

1. Publish a specific daily vote-book limit.
2. Implement a hard in-game cap that prevents players from claiming more than the intended maximum.
3. Rewrite Rule 17a so that it focuses on the prohibited methods being used (VPNs, IP manipulation, etc.) rather than referring to an undefined “excessive” amount.

Personally, I believe a hard cap would be the best solution.

If staff already have the ability to enforce a 5-minute cooldown between vote-book claims, then a daily cap should also be technically possible. This would eliminate ambiguity entirely because players would be physically unable to exceed the intended limit.

A hard cap would also help discourage VPN voting. Players who are currently using VPNs to generate additional vote-book codes would gain little or no benefit from doing so if they were unable to claim more than the daily maximum anyway.

To be clear, I am not suggesting that VPN voting should be allowed. I fully understand why Alora prohibits VPN voting and vote manipulation.

My concern is simply that players should have a clear, objective understanding of what is permitted and what is not. The current rule prohibits obtaining an “excessive” amount of vote books without defining what excessive means, while the game simultaneously allows unlimited vote-book claims through its own mechanics.

Clarifying the limit—or implementing one directly in-game—would make the rule easier for players to understand, easier for staff to enforce consistently, and would reduce incentives for abuse at the same time.

Add timer for when you can claim vote auth again.

27 May 2026 - 07:20 AM

What is your suggestion?:

Adding a timer similar to timers used for bonuses to let you know when you can claim another vote auth again OR make it so when you click "claim auth code" it tells you how much longer you need to wait instead of after submitting the code in order to minimize the amount of times I have to type the code in again to check how much longer I have to wait.

Is this in OSRS?:

No.

Has this suggestion been accepted already?:

No.

How would this benefit Alora?:

Just a QoL update to let us know when we can claim another auth code. It would make it so that I can check to see how much longer I have to be able to claim again without having to type the codes over and over.
