Why make it worse than OSRS though? It shouldn't be more painful / tedious to skill on an RSPS.

Like I mentioned, on OSRS you have salvaging worlds where the spots switch frequently enough that you would never need to move, or you could just world hop and never move your boat.

Also like I mentioned, fishing spots on Alora don't move, why make this change for sailing?

 

I assumed it was clear that I was referring to the timer on the specific salvaging spots expiring and that it's common knowledge salvaging spots rotate and not appear in random locations but thanks for including that for people that aren't as familiar with salvaging.

Fully agree, every skills in Alora has it way easier than osrs in terms of gathering, afking, etc the exception as of right now: sailing (of course i dont mean xp rates, cuz thats too obvious)

think they already planning on reducing bot checks(random events)... only a matter of time to be in place.

but i also support salvaging being way more afk.

I think its only fair that salvaging wreckages never move around at the cost of getting bot checks here and there, balances out.
