I really like this idea!
I never liked to grind so I feel ironman (and the other variations) a very frustrating game mode. Whereas, being able to use the tp for what you unlocked sounds like a very exciting thing. I'd want to play it for sure. I don't know how much would be difficult to implement this update but if it's not that much hard and time consuming, I support it.
P.s: the argument "you can impose it yourself" could be said even for any other game mode, so it's not that much of a solid argument against the suggestion.
