Ok so I was asked to write this so yh here goes. It's a ramble and its my opinion.

 

1 - TOB is fucked, ask an 07 raider that plays alora to take a look at it.

 

2 - Cox is fucked, ask an 07 raider that plays alora to take a look at it.

 

3 - Nightmare is fucked

 

4 - Some npc's in wildy agro on you when they're 10+ steps away, others dont agro when they're 2 steps away.

 

5 - Adding pvp armours/weapons to Alora was a mistake. 1 Day after being unbanned I found out you can hit 70s with morrigan javelins. Vesta didn't even work properly.

 

6 - Staff are still too harsh with some rules, literally no improvement since I came back from 2018. Some staff jump at every opportunity to punish players when Alora isn't as popular as it used to be. Need to be more lenient.

 

7  - Punishment wipe should've been advertised in some way, although it could cause some issues at the beginning.

 

8 - Group ironmen can kick/invite people that have already played on their GIM accs(in other words, trading with other gim). Might as well remove the ''ironman'' part?

 

9 - Ironmen can loot supply chests/bloody keys and get a big gear advantage without pvming. Literally witnessed an ironman get pegasian boots and armadyl top from bloody keys. Ironmen can also buy vote books through main accs and open c keys for an easy route. I opened 6k c keys like 3 years ago and had 110k+ rune bars on an ironman. Too late to fix it.

 

10 - From my pov it doesn't seem like wildy was updated in the past 3 years at all.

 

11 - Economy is fucked. Eco holders are all holding onto the expensive items such as arcanes and elys but the junk like ags, acb etc costs like 10m ea. 

 

12 - Outdated interfaces

 

13 - Accounts can loot supply chests/bloody keys and log, perhaps some sort of 10s timer like on dmm would help? idk

 

14 - Still no tournament system coded. Admins/event managers are still forced to make their own brackets and teleport fights to each other. This isn't 2013. Every other server has some sort of tournament system in place. utorrent was asking for this back in 2016 when he was an event manager.

 

15 - Wildy is beyond dead. I'm struggling to find skillers in the wild. Need more incentives.

 

16 - Announcement thing announces shit drops like white mystic from hydra, etc. Needs to be looked at.

 

17 - Discord is dead. Pretty sure every message in the past week has been !jay

 

18 - Weapon animations are broken.

 

19 - D scim spec accuracy = ass

 

20 - Pkp & Loyalty shops are ass

 

21 - Presets loc?

 

So yea, these are my opinions after playing for a few days.

No support, teleport wizard, max cape, ::tp’s and diary items are fast teleportation methods as it is right now and I don’t think this belongs in Alora.

I coincidentally glanced over my profile information

 

 

 

I discovered that I first started playing Alora exactly one year ago

 

 

 

 

 

To some of you, one year isn't a very long time.

Some of you have dedicated countless hours to Alora, shaping the server to what it is today

 

 

 

One year is a long time

 

I have made friends

 

 

I have seen players come and go
 
 

 

 

I have laughed

 

 

 

I have been subjected to the harshest burns

 

and kindest compliments

 

 

I have sent memes to be approved before publishing ???

 

 

 

I have thoroughly enjoyed my time on Alora

When it comes to Runescape private servers,

most players find themselves drifting from one to another

Alora has something that distinguishes it from the competition

It has a professional staff team that swiftly deals with any issue that may arrise

From the youngest server support to the oldest administrator

they all work towards bettering Alora

It updates frequently introducing both new content and fixing bugs

The impressive work that the developers put in keeps the game fresh and enjoyable!

It has a kick-ass community!

No noob is left un-helped in the Alora clan chat

No single day is dull or the same

No opportunity to riot or celebrate is missed

Great clans has emerged from the server, stretching far beyond the boundaries of Alora itself

The community consists of the players, and among these some put in extra effort to make Alora great

We’ve been working quietly for awhile now on a major project, and today we’re ready to share it with you: RuneLite is coming to Alora! This has been kept under wraps for the past few months, as we wanted to ensure that we were able to meet your expectations before making an announcement. Hundreds of hours of development have gone into this client, and we're now at a point where we can confidently share this news with all of you. 
 
We'd like to highlight why this was an unrealistic task to begin with, and why we decided to focus on it. Initially, the task of making RuneLite compatible with Alora essentially involved rewriting most of the RuneLite client to be compatible with ours. Unlike other OSRS-based private servers which connect to RuneLite right out of the box with minimal changes, the Alora client is unique in that it is quite different than OSRS' client, as it is merged with a high-definition RuneScape client from 2008, which is how we're able to uniquely provide the HD mode. Unfortunately, this made the RuneLite job an extremely daunting task.
 
Nonetheless, we understand that this feature has been requested time and time again, and many of you have grown accustomed to the features provided by RuneLite, so we made it our priority for the past few months to properly connect most of the plugins with our client. We believe this will change the experience on Alora dramatically, and further cement us as the best option when it comes to RSPS. With our wonderful community and high update frequency, RuneLite is the icing on the cake that will make us stand out even more than we already have.
 
There is still a decent amount of work to do, so unfortunately we can't provide a guaranteed ETA, but what we can say is that we are working to bring it to you as quickly as possible :)
