#86574 New Content

Posted by Thorley on 01 June 2017 - 04:30 PM

Hello,

Having played Alora for some time now, I've noticed there's an awful amount of 'broken' or 'half-assed' content in-game that realistically needs work, a prime example being Zulrah.

I understand that with Oldschool Runescape announcing the release of inferno many private servers will look to introduce this piece of content quickly as a "USP". Similarly to how Alora introduced raids. However, and I direct this to the developers of Alora - players do not enjoy playing half-assed content.

I realise that the developers of Alora try to balance updates with newer content and bug-fixes, but in all honesty I feel that some aspects of the game need refining before any large content additions such as the inferno are even considered.

My message to Alora developers; Please focus on supplying your players with quality and enjoyable content that is fluent and works as is intended. We are not pigs! We do not want to be overstuffed with everything at once! I recognise that as Oldschool Runescape releases large content projects it increases pressure on private servers to follow suit and beat competition, but it's quality not quantity!

Toodle pip.

#86244 Wilderness clue steps

Posted by Thorley on 31 May 2017 - 05:52 AM

I know there's currently 1 wilderness location when completing clues, I'd like too see more of these and possibly in deeper wilderness.

I'm not so sure about actually making the clues more rewarding, but definitely would like to see more wilderness steps included in all types of clue scrolls.

Support! :)

EDIT: I also think we should introduce steps in wilderness which involve killing an NPC so players can't enter with a spade and complete the clue scroll.

#86106 Development Prioritization OFFICIAL Poll

Posted by Thorley on 30 May 2017 - 02:46 PM

Perhaps having community live streams, similar to Oldschool Runescape, in which the administrative team talk with players about up-coming updates and discuss new ideas. Whether the team would go this far is a different story though.

Relative to your post though, I think they should introduce an in-game polling system in which players can vote for specific content and prioritise new content over others. Perhaps a scale relative to how urgent or how quickly the specific player would like to see the content in-game.

Either way, good idea.
