Hello everyone,
Today's update brings a wide variety of improvements to the server while we continue to work on Sailing in our effort to be the first server to release the massive new skill. We appreciate your patience as we work on bringing the new skill to Alora, we know that this update comes later than expected given our usual schedule, but we know it will be worth it once it is released -- we are beginning testing this week and are very close to the full release. - Variable Ironman Experience Rates:
- Players can now select one of 3 different experience rates when creating a new account that is a Regular Ironman, Ultimate Ironman, Hardcore Ironman, or Hardcore Ultimate Ironman.
- The exp rate options provided are 40x (15x after 99), which was the original rate for ultimate ironman and regular Ironman, 8x, which was the original rate for hardcore ironman/hardcore ultimate ironman, and 4x, a completely new rate for solo ironman accounts.
- Players can freely increase the experience rates of any of the game modes by speaking to the Combat Master in the ironman shack.
- For example, if you start your account on 4x, and wish for easier rates, you can go up to 8x/40x.
- Players who choose to do this will not ever be able to go back down to a harder experience rate.

- Each of these separate experience rate modes will have their own hiscores so that players will be competing/progress with other accounts in their experience bracket.
- This new system also means that players who are currently playing on a hardcore ironman or hardcore ultimate ironman will now keep their experience rate if they die.
- This applies to accounts created before this system was added as well, so dying on a hardcore ironman created before this update will no longer force the player to play an ironman with the 40/15x experience rate, allowing them to continue progressing a normal ironman account at the original 8x experience rate.
- Looking up players on the forum hiscores or using the runelite hiscores plugin will show the player’s current experience rate.

- Loom/Spinning wheel:
- Players can now use a loom to create the following items:
- Strip of cloth
- Bolt of linen
- Empty Sack
- Drift Net
- Bolt of canvas
- Bolt of Cotton
- The bolt of canvas and bolt of cotton cannot be created without hemp yarn and cotton yarn, which will be unobtainable until the release of Sailing.
- Players can now also spin Linen yarn (flax), cotton yarn (cotton boll), and hemp yarn (hemp) at spinning wheels.
- Players can now use a loom to create the following items:
- 117HD Performance Improvements:
- The 117HD plugin has received the same treatment as the GPU plugin, and should now be much more performant, leading to 50-100% increased FPS when used.
- Hops Farming:
- Players can now plant hops seeds in all 5 hops patches around the world.
- Planting a hops patch requires either 3 or 4 of that specific seed to do so.
- Plantable seeds:
- Barley seeds (4 required)
- Hammerstone seeds (4 required)
- Asgarnian seeds (4 required)
- Jute seeds (3 required)
- Yanillian seeds (4 required)
- Flax seeds (3 required)
- Krandorian seeds (4 required)
- Wildblood seeds (4 required)
- Hemp seeds (3 required)
- Cotton seeds (3 required)
- Flax/Hemp/Cotton seeds will be unobtainable until the release of sailing.
- Plantable seeds:

- Lumbridge, north of the chicken coup
- North of McGrubor’s Woods
- Yanille
- Entrana
- Aldarin
- All the new Hops patches have been added to the Farmer’s blessing teleport list.

- Emote Interface Update:
- The Emotes interface has been updated, and it now has 14 new emotes that players can access.
- The crab dance emote is currently unavailable until the release of Sailing.

- Game Mode Menu Icons:
- Players can now see a player’s game mode in the menu entry dropdown when right-clicking a player.
- This setting is enabled by default, and can be disabled in the settings interface in the “Interfaces” tab.

- Quality of Life:
- Players can now store the Sanguine torva items in their looting bag.
- Upon death to a player, the equipment will revert to normal Torva.
- The butler's tray/uniform cosmetics are now tradable.
- Increased the maximum bonus rate for Mixology events from 1.3x to 1.5x bonus resin.
- Removing demonic from a barrel of demonic tallow will now withdraw the entire amount noted.
- Advisor Ghrim now has a "Manage" Right-click option that players can use to quickly open the management interface.
- Players can now use blighted food/potions in the mage bank/ferox enclave.
- Added placeholders for the following items:
- Bond ($100)
- Bond ($100) (Untradable)
- Bond ($50) (Untradable)
- Ultimate Mystery Box
- Players can now use a knife on a max cape/hood variant to revert it to the default max cape/hood.
- When doing so, players will receive any input cape required to make the variant, for example using a knife on an infernal max cape will disassemble it into a regular max cape and an infernal cape.
- Players can now use Sherlock’s notes on another player to transfer them between accounts.
- When a player receives coins, if they cannot be added in their inventory/bank (due to having max cash stacks), the server will now try to add it to their inventory/bank as platinum tokens instead, only dropping the amount of coins that cannot be converted to platinum.
- This should stop any issues of players claiming or winning coins and not noticing they drop on the ground.
- The client will now save the player’s last resize/move dimensions when they adjust some specific interfaces, such as the world map, collection log, collection overview, and skill guide (v2).
- Players can now plant white lily seeds in flower patches.
- The beef pet will now complete the "Any boss pet" bingo tile.
- Players can now use the “ring” emote on the crier bell.
- If the game chatbox tab is set to "Filtered", filtered game messages will no longer cause the tab to flash when there is a new message.
- The ring of wealth (i)'s protection value will now be based on the imbuement scroll exchange price.
- The Doom of Mokhaiotl no longer drops sunfire splinters.
- Adjusted the wording of the “Do you have any coins or platinum in your inventory?” Random event question to indicate that it is a yes or no question.
- Updated the Plank-making interface at the sawmill.
- Players can now store the Sanguine torva items in their looting bag.
- Bug Fixes:
- Fixed a bugged ladder in Neitiznot.
- Right-clicking the chat stones will no longer show "walk here" or other game scene options.
- Fixed a bug where the door in the axe hut would sometimes stay open.
- Added missing eternal slayer ring drops to many superior NPC's.
- Fixed a bug the Tzkal/Vampyric/Tztok slayer helms would not show the slayer plugin overlay.
- Fixed a bug where players could still get a clue scroll drop as the only drop in some rarer circumstances.
- Players can now revert the Amulet of Rancour (s) to the normal Amulet of Rancour.
- Players can now deposit the Grimy huasca herb into their herb sack.
- Fixed a bug where the wilderness escape caves had a safespot that was not considered wilderness.
- Players will now be able to complete the corrupt scavenger room even in the rare and mysterious event where the corrupt scavenger disappears/is not at his trough.
- The baker's stall in Civitas Illa fortis now gives 16 experience rather than 30.
- Revenant weapons such as the Viggora's chainmace will now be valued based on their uncharged value.
- Fixed a bug where players could not get multiple clue bottles at once.
- Fixed a bug where player’s would sometimes visually desynchronizing with the server when speaking to sawmill operators repeatedly.
- Fixed a bug where telekinetic grab required 2 law runes and 2 air runes, rather than 1 law rune and 1 air rune.
- Players can no longer setup a dwarf cannon at demonic gorillas.
- Fixed a bug where players could not withdraw empty vials from their bank potion storage.
- Players will now only have 1 chance to get a looting bag per kill, rather than once per drop roll.
- Infernal plates are now tradable.
- Fixed a typo in the Morytania diary interface that stated killing 10 banshee’s required 10 slayer (rather than 15).
- Fixed a bug with the non-marble cape racks, which had a limit on the number of non-accomplishment capes players could store.
- The accomplishment cape storage limit for cape racks (None for oak, 1 for teak, etc…) was being enforced for all capes.
- Players will now be able to store any non-accomplishment cape slot in the cape rack for any tier.

- Fixed a bug where the final hit on an NPC would sometimes not register properly if the damage was split between multiple hitsplats, allowing for some combat achievements regarding killing an npc with a specific weapon/spell to be completable with multi-hit weapons, such as dragon claws.
- Fixed a bug where the last 2 hits of Cerberus' soul attack would be delayed by 3-4 ticks.
- Fixed a bug where sometimes the end of the what the player was typing in the chatbox would get cut off with the new “side-scrolling” mechanic, so they could not see what they were typing.
- Fixed a bug where players could use the deadman armageddon weapon scroll on an AGS, which would consume the scroll and not let players trim the other weapon types with nigel.
- Fixed a bug with a lot of textures on 2010 mode being dark blue.
- Fixed a bug where the combat achievements interfaces wouldn’t update until the player logged out after a combat achievement was completed.
- Fixed a bug where going down a level in the Chambers of Xeric on mobile would cause a black screen.
- Fixed a bug with the chugging barrel configuration interface not working properly.
- Fixed a bug where Zalcano kill times were not being tracked properly.
- Fixed a bug where TOA/TOB collection log completion announcements would not tally up all modes.
- Fixed a bug where the Echo ahrim's staff could not autocast from the Ancient magicks or Arceus spellbooks.
- Fixed a bug where EIM Swap ticket was not claimable.
- Fixed a bug which caused the Well of goodwill model to appear in the Abyssal Sire Lair.
- Fixed a typo during the fight with the Whisperer.
- Players can now trade in ensouled minotaur heads for 25,000 coins each.
- Players can now reanimate ensouled minotaur heads at the dark altar.
- Fixed a bug where STASH units would sometimes steal an item if the player did not have all 3 required items.
- The entity hider will no longer hide Zalcano when the "Hide dead NPC's" option is enabled.
- Fixed a bug where players could claim loot from the Doom of Mokhaiotl delves without ending their delve.
- Fixed a bug where the MvP at vet'ion/Callisto was getting double-killcount.
- Fixed a bug where the minimized minimap was being cut off on mobile.
- Fixed a bug with Vespula's Abyssal portal pathing.
- Fixed a bug where a lot of projectiles in the Chambers of Xeric were starting from/going to the wrong locations.
