
Hello everyone,
In preparation for the HCUIM launch tomorrow, we’re getting out some of our other updates we’ve been working on in advance to smooth out the experience and to make sure we iron out any last minute bugs for the release. In this update, we’ve focused on getting all caught up with OSRS’s recent updates — this means things like interfaces (bank, equipment, deposit box) having the latest look/functionality, as well as some recently released content for your fashionscape (eg. Holy moleys, hooded slayer helmets).
Our client also has seen some major improvements, such as Async map loading (no client freeze when walking into a new area) as well as big FPS improvements. We’ve also made some changes to some of our boss fights such as Yama and DT2 bosses (Big thanks to @
- Store changes:
- GIM Rename Ticket:
- You may now purchase a rename ticket for 300 tokens to rename your ironman group.
- Cosmetic mystery box additions:
- The Banker’s chest and Banker’s shield (taken from the Ferox enclave banker) have been added to the most rare category (same as Ring of levitation, Mine cart, etc).
- The Banana cape and Banana hat have also been added to the most rare category.
- Butler Masks, Costume & Tray:
- Costume (top / bottom) have been added to the common category (eg. Samurai gear, Robes of Darkness)
- Masks / Tray have been added to the "Rare" category, right above common. (This category includes Ankou, mummy, Jad plush, etc)
- GIM Rename Ticket:
- Website changes:
- The "Bump Topic" button has been removed.
- Gpu Plugin and Asynchronous Map Loading:
- The GPU plugin has been updated to use a depth buffer.
- This should not have too many visual changes, although players may notice some items or objects flickering (z-fighting), as well as some clipping issues, which we will be working towards fixing over time.
- The performance of this plugin should be a lot better for most people, and we’re expecting most players to see significant FPS boosts.
- This change has not been applied to the 117HD plugin yet, although players can expect it to be updated soon.
- Asynchronous Map Loading:
- Previously, the Alora Client Settings plugin had an option called “Fast Region Loading (experimental)”, which would speed up region load times rather significantly.
- We’ve taken this a step further, and completely moved region loading onto a separate cpu thread, allowing players to load new regions nearly seamlessly.
- This will be most noticeable when players are moving between regions, where they should now notice no pauses/lag/loading screens at all in many cases as the map loads in.

- Interface updates:
- Equipment interface:
- Weight will now appear as intended (was previously always 0kg).
- Bank interface:
- Looting Bag:
- Players can now deposit their looting bag items when using the bank, as long as the looting bag is in their inventory.
- Changes:
- There is now an "Empty Containers" button in the bank interface to empty container items (eg. Looting bag, Gem bag, Essence pouch, etc).
- Some containers do not empty into the bank, such as seed boxes, rune pouches, and Diazana’s quiver. More details here:
- There is now a "Forget storage tab status" setting you can toggle, which, when toggled, will always open the main tab in your bank rather than the last tab that was open.
- Text actions, such as swap/insert, note, etc.., have been replaced by icon buttons. (Less clutter + easier on mobile)
- The size of the quantity buttons has been increased. (Easier on mobile)
- The "View worn items" button has been moved to the top-right.
- The incinerator has been moved to the left, alongside the potion and group storage.
- Players who have both group and potion storage now have an option to collapse them.
- There is now an "Empty Containers" button in the bank interface to empty container items (eg. Looting bag, Gem bag, Essence pouch, etc).
- Bug fixes:
- When viewing equipment in the bank, you can now right-click items to "Deposit" them as well.
- You can now drag your items over a line into another tab once again (previously could only drag to a specific item to swap, but can now drag to empty space in a different tab).

- Fountain of Rune:
- Players will now have unlimited runes when near the fountain of rune in the wilderness.
- The unlimited runes are only provided if the player has line of sight to the fountain.
- No experience will be given when the fountain of rune’s unlimited rune effect is used.
- Colosseum Sol Heredit Fight Changes:
- Fixed a bug where Sol heredit's body would sometimes flicker as he was dying.
- The final chest after the Colosseum will now appear a few ticks earlier.
- The sounds of Sol heredit's laser attack that creates molten sound now play at the correct times.
- The sounds of the crystals charging and firing their beams now play at precisely the right time.
- The dust graphics played when Sol Heredit does his attacks now travel outwards slightly slower.

- Instance Changes:
- Fixed a bug where some god wars npc's would still attack players while they were creating an instance.
- This would cause the chatbot interface to close each time the player was attacked, making it very difficult to create an instance in some situations.
- When an instance expires or is destroyed by the owner, all players inside will be teleported back outside of the instance.
- In the event that this area is in the wilderness (such as a kbd instance), players will be teleported back to edgeville.
- Instances are no longer tied to clan chats.
- Previously, a player would need to be in a specific clan chat to create their own, or join another player’s instance.
- This is no longer the case, and players can now create and join instances regardless of the clan chat they are (or aren’t) in.
- Players must simply select the “Join instance” option and enter the name of the owner of the instance.
- If the player owns their own instance of that type, they will be prompted to either join their own instance, or will also be able to join another player’s instance if they wish.

- Desert Treasure 2 Boss Changes:
- Vestige Changes:
- Players will now receive gold rings as drops from desert treasure 2 bosses, rather than in-game chat notifications.
- To obtain a vestige from a DT2 boss, players must roll that drop table 3 times in total.
- On the first roll, players will receive 1 gold ring, on the second roll, players will receive 2 gold rings, and on the third roll, players will receive the vestige, as expected.

- Players will now receive gold rings as drops from desert treasure 2 bosses, rather than in-game chat notifications.
- Duke:
- Players will now grind one arder mushroom each tick rather than every 3 ticks.
- Duke Sucellus will now only attack players with melee if they are within melee distance 1 tick before he attacks.
- This means players will need to step in/out of range the tick before to tigger/avoid the melee attack.
- Added some missing sounds to the fight.
- The Whisperer:
- Players should be able to more reliably freeze the Whisperer after her special attacks.
- Vardorvis:
- Vardorvis now has the correct spawn animation.
- Leviathan:
- The Awakened leviathan’s tornado attack will no longer be no-clipped.
- This means players can trap it behind rocks.
- The Leviathan will no longer use its roar attack after special attacks.
- It will only do it after its volleys.
- The Awakened leviathan’s tornado attack will no longer be no-clipped.
- Vestige Changes:
- Yama Changes:
- Added more sounds during the fight.
- Yama will now decide to do it’s melee attack the tick before it attacks if the player is in range.
- Yama’s shadow crash attack will now track the player’s location at the beginning of the tick (before their movement is applied).
- The first fireball from Yama's shadow crash attack will now appear 1 tick later.
- Quality of Life:
- Any gp that a player claims from the trading post will now primarily be added as platinum tokens, with the remainder being added as gold.
- For example, if a player cancels a buy offer or claims gp in their coffer worth 57254 coins, they will receive 57 platinum tokens and 254 coins.
- Players can now use raw hunter meats on the meat pouch to add them, as well as using the fill option on the item.
- The “Fill” option on the Bottomless compost bucket will now try to fill the bucket.
- Previously only the “Check” option would prompt players to either fill or check the bucket.
- Players can now exit the Alchemical Hydra room if the boss is not alive.
- Opening the bank will no longer close the private message interface.
- Guardian drakes now have a 50% water elemental weakness.
- Players can now use the 1/2 keyboard keys to confirm/deny the destroy item input confirmations interface.
- Improved the precision of blacklisting ground items on mobile.
- You can now convert any amount of platinum to coins, and instead of giving you an error message you will be given the maximum amount of coins your inventory can hold.
- Verzik Vitur now has the proper death animation.
- Alchemical Hydra now uses a more modern health bar.
- Alchemical Hydra’s super restore/ranging potion drops will now drop together as a supply drop.
- Players now have access to the AFK overlay plugin through the plugin hub.
- The leagues vengeance override now uses the correct sound.
- Crushing crystal shards is now a repeatable action.
- Players will be prompted to input the amount of shards they wish to crush.
- Players can now use the chugging barrel when they are near a banker npc, rather than just a bank booth.
- Players can now access the Custom Menu Swapper plugin in the Plugin-hub.
- Tormented demons will now have a short attack delay when switching to melee to close the gap (if there is one).
- If the player is still out of range after this delay, tormented demons will try to attack with mage/range as usual.
- The Hueycoatl quick-slide option now works correctly.
- The scythe of vitur now uses the proper crush attack sound.
- Fixed a bug where getting the last slayer task from konar wouldn't work if it was a boss task.
- The Huasca herb will now grow the correct color.
- The compass options on mobile will no longer change the camera’s pitch.
- Adjusted the “Look south" compass option so that it will now point the player’s camera perfectly south.
- The mounted xeric's talisman will no use the proper teleport animation.
- Kalphite workers now attack with a 4 tick attack speed rather than 3.
- The nightmare husks now properly attack players, one using range while the other using mage.
- Players can now get a Pirates task from Krystillia.
- This will require players to kill either regular pirates in the deep wilderness, or Zombie Pirates.
- Leagues drops will now only be announced if they are worth 10x as much as the normal value required to appear over yell announcements (400k -> 4M).
- Updated the loot tracker panel to have more customizable settings.
- Items lost when dying in a King black dragon instance will no longer drop outside of the instance (due to it being in the wilderness), so they will be within the instance.
- Added 9 level 145 dark warrior spawns to the Dark Warriors' fortress in the wilderness.
- The messages for vote bonuses running out will now be colored red.
- Removed some twisted league items from the master clue scroll reward caskets.
- These will be added in a future league.
- Added a lobster fishing spot to the Wilderness resource area.
- Scaly blue dragonhide is now dropped by Vorkath, Blue dragons, and Brutal blue dragons.
- It was previously only dropped by Baby blue dragons.

- Fixed a bug where the low detail plugin would sometimes hide the floor in the Akkha room.
- Players on metal dragon tasks can now attack dragons in the Brimhaven task-only area.
- Fixed a bugged shortcut in the Brimhaven dungeon.
- Fixed a bug where the Sanguinesti staff’s healing effect would cause some NPC’s to go invisible for a few ticks.
- Fixed a bug where Araxxor would drop 1 super combat or prayer potion on the normal drop table.
- This will now only be for tertiary supply drops.
- Fixed a bug where sometimes picking up raw hunter meat wouldn’t properly add it to the meat pouch.
- Fixed a bug where the meat pouch would spam the chatbox when adding any amount of meat into the pouch.
- Fixed a bug where lizardmen shaman attacking a player would sometimes not trigger auto-retaliation.
- Fixed a bug where the Harmonized nightmare staffs protection value in PvP would was being calculated incorrectly.
- Fixed a bug where the local player’s minimap dot would double draw (sometimes with a white dot and other times with a purple dot).
- Players must now have attacked an npc within 4.8 seconds or they will be eligible to be attacked by another player in the wilderness.
- This removes a player’s ability to “infinitely box” an npc
- Fixed a bug where player could not withdraw noted catalytic talismans.
- Fixed a bug where looting the gauntlet chest would add loot to the barrows loot tracker tab.
- Fixed a bug where the escape option on the stairs in the Eclipse moon arena were not working properly.
- Fixed a bug where Wyrms and their superior variants did not have the “Draconic” attribute.
- Fixed a bug where trying to withdraw a noted bird snare would result in a null item.
- Fixed a bug where the Ancient relic would only alch for 5m rather than 9.6m
- The giant mole will now only have a chance to dig when it is attacked.
- Any incoming hit will trigger the check for mole to dig.
- Previously, this was based on mole attacking players.

- Nightmare/Phosani’s Nightmare loot tracker will no longer count each kill as 2 kill counts.
- Fixed a bug where the runelite birdhouse tracker was always showing birdhouses as done far too early.
- The timer should now be much more accurate.
- Yama, Hueycoatl and Doom will no longer allow entries once an update is pending (usually 15-20 mins before server goes offline for a reboot).

- Thralls can no longer deal damage when Doom is in it's shield phase.
- Fixed a bug where a few Colosseum combat achievement tasks would be completed if they were failed.
- Fixed a bug where the final chest would sometimes not appear at the end of the Colosseum.
- Players can no longer take damage after dying in the Theatre of blood.
- Fixed a bug where players who had both the trailblazer and raging echoes death animations unlocked could not properly change to the raging echoes death animation.
- Fixed a typo with the Hueycoatl killcount spelling.
- Fixed a bug with a broken short cut in the crab claw cave.
- Fixed a bug where the monster name would not properly appear sometimes when filtering combat achievement tasks.
- Fixed a visual glitch when the husks would spawn where they would appear before their spawn animation ended for a tick.
- Fixed a bug where players could not chop the yew tree in the Lumbridge graveyard.
- Fixed a bug where some damage boosts were not properly applying to the dragon claw special attack.
- Fixed a bug where the nightmare’s healthbar would sometimes visually go into negative values.
- Phosani’s nightmare will now drop clues at the boosted 1/35 rate (rather than 1/180).
- Fixed a bug where the GPU plugin would sometimes cause a black screen on startup.

- Fixed a bug where if a player died with certain instances open, their items would drop outside of that instance even if they were not inside of it when they died.
- Players will be notified with a chat message where their loot was dropped when dying in an instance.
- Fixed a bug where the killcount shown when obtaining a rare item from the Nightmare/Phosani's nightmare would be off by one.
- Fixed a bug where blighted sacks would not light up the spell book in the Edgeville PvP instance.
- Fixed a bug where players could not properly select the custom clan rank icons.
- Fixed a bug where players could sometimes click through the bottom of the collection log interface.
- Fixed a bug where undying retribution would reset the player's damage map.
- Fixed a bug where graphics sometimes wouldn’t show up if the player was using expanded map loading (for example, at Zalcano).
- The Dinh's bulwark will no longer attack npc's that the player has no line of sight to.
- Unenchanted onyx bolts now have the correct ranged strength value.
- Fixed a bug where the league task to complete a metal dragon slayer task was not working.
- Fixed a bug where some players would get a black screen when they started their client with the GPU/117HD plugins on until they restarted them.
- Fixed a bug that would cause players to sometimes lose their items as they were dying right after leaving an instance (eg. Doom).
