After doing enough of these things to develop my own way of getting efficient kills, and seeing that the guide that's here now is lack luster. Here is my own guide to killing this boss efficiently!
The inventory and setup posted is what is getting me 10+ kills a trip, if there is anything that you think that should be added please let me know!
Req & Recommendations:
Prayers: 43+ Rigour & Augury will only help.
Gear: See my setup as an idea, go with the best you have! (please note that I am on slayer task when pic taken).
Style: Melee is safest and most effective for learning (as long as you have the items).
Range is the next best option.
Melee Inv:
(In case images don't load properly)
-Giant soul Amulet
-Crystal Halberd
-10 pray pots
-1 super combat pot
-7 Sharks
-7 Karambwan
Melee Gear:
-Max melee armor
-NOX hally
-Barrows gloves
-Primordials
-BIS cape (Fire cape here)
-BIS melee necklace
The following is for if you have a crystal halberd at MINIMUM and can use melee on the boss.
Step By Step:
Phase 1:
-Pot up, get your prays on, and get into the boss area. (switch to spec wep if you have).
-You want to click on one of them as fast as possible so that they stay in this setup until the next phase. The goal is get get both as close as possible to the 215 hp so that the next phase is easyier, this is a re-occurring theme.
-Melee the bosses down switching back and forth so that they both get as close to 215 hp as possible, you need to PRAY MELEE in this phase and all others.
Phase 2:
-The bosses will separate to opposite sides, and will continue to use the same type of spell, but you now have to worry about standing in an area that protects you from their 3-hit "special" that will for sure hit you regardless of pray.
-The goal here is to get them down as equal as possible, so that you're not sitting in phase 3 for any time at all.
-Continue melee-ing the bosses. Watch out for minion explosion timers, you can run away from these throughout the fight.
Phase 3:
- Once one of them is dead, phase 3 starts. You cannot block the regular attacks any longer, they will hit you something every time, and this is why you don't want to stay in this phase for any length of time.
-If you find yourself in this phase just melee as much as you can, while also staying in the safe spot during the "special" attack.
That's it! it becomes fairly AFK after a little once you're able to melee the bosses.

Range works for this boss as well, however you will get a far longer completion time (5min+)
It is the same technique, just less damage until you have crystal halberd.
-Food is for when the minions explode and you don't get a half decent spawn for the 2nd phase "Safety portal".
NOTE:
Extra Giantsoul Amulets can be traded into the bone man for extra charges!
