I’d like to suggest adding Hespori seeds to the vote shop.

 

Currently, the only realistic way to obtain Hespori seeds is through farming, and it takes a considerable amount of time just to access a boss whose rewards don’t have much value on Alora.

 

The main rewards from Hespori are:

 

Untradeable seeds.

The Bottomless Compost Bucket, which has little to no use on Alora since compost isn’t necessary for farming.

Completion of the single anima patch diary task for the Kourend & Kebos Hard Diary.
 

After completing the diary requirement, there’s very little incentive to continue farming for Hespori seeds just to fight the boss again. As a result, Hespori ends up being content that most players experience once or twice and never revisit.

 

Adding Hespori seeds to the vote shop would:

 

Give players a practical way to revisit the boss without spending excessive time farming for access.

Increase participation in otherwise underused PvM content.

Add another worthwhile option to spend vote points on.

Encourage players to continue interacting with content that is currently abandoned after the diary is complete.

Since the boss’s rewards aren’t especially valuable or game-breaking, making access easier shouldn’t have a significant impact on the economy or game balance. Instead, it would simply make an overlooked piece of content more enjoyable and worth doing.

No support, you can get hespori seeds through farming as you said but you should also be completing farming contracts in the farming guild as those packs drop them as well.

While farming contracts are an alternative source of Hespori seeds, they’re still locked behind more farming. The problem isn’t that there’s only one way to get the seeds, it’s that every method requires players to repeatedly engage with a skill that Alora has already streamlined to reduce tedious mechanics.

Alora itself acknowledges this philosophy by simplifying farming compared to OSRS. Mechanics like compost management have effectively been removed because they’re unnecessary busywork on a private server. If the goal is to keep the enjoyable parts of farming while reducing the tedious parts, then allowing Hespori seeds to be purchased with vote points follows that same design philosophy.

The Hespori leaderboard also reflects the lack of player engagement. The current #1 player has just 96 kills, #2 has 65, and #3 has 55. Even after years of the server being online, nobody has reached 100 kills. That isn’t evidence that Hespori is balanced, it suggests players simply don’t find it worthwhile to repeatedly grind access to the boss.

Most people quit killing Hespori due to completing the log, which is what Hespori is good for, nothing else imo. It's just depends on someones RNG for the collection log itself. I still don't think this needs to be added to the vote shop

What's the issue with a player having to engage in farming content to acquire seeds required to kill a farming boss? Seems pretty fitting to me.

Also, correct me if i'm wrong but compost management works on Alora? Whatever other niche bits of farming content haven't made their way to Alora isn't the result of busywork being removed, but rather the time spent adding niche content could be spent elsewhere. This is actually the case for a lot of content but a lot of it has slowly made it's way to Alora.

 

Lastly, your point regarding hespori engagement is incorrect, The normal mode experience rates are pretty high so there's no reason to go back after about 30 kills. If you filter by each game mode, the 3 highest hespori kill counts are Yujii, Sagacious and Real Alan with 729, 560, and 465 kc respectively.
