What is your suggestion?:

Stop giving duplicate random event items, and when someone has completed the log, grant exp lamps instead

Yes. It grants the same exp lamps as genies do, granting 10x the current level in exp

How would this benefit Alora?:

Players would be less annoyed by receiving the items and needing to either move them to POH storage periodically or burn bank space. Also means a small amount of exp to help with more annoying skills.

I actually like the idea of getting xp lamps after completing the random events clog. I don't really find random events that vexing, aside from when I'm training Thieving or Runecrafting, but it'd be nice to get something other than a piece of clothing for the hassle.

 

After completing the random events clog, change the rewards so you have a chance of getting either clue scrolls, xp lamps, or even both.

I do support this, only if implemented with minimal xp as @23 has stated. I'm unsure how the coding would work given different game-modes, but even potentially a lamp that offers 5,000xp per lamp.

i Like the idea, however not too sure if “continuous xp lamps” would be the move. i’d Support One.

Support. As a maxed iron, the XP wouldn’t benefit me much, but duplicate outfit pieces after completing the log are basically just bank or POH clutter.

 

A small, non-bankable lamp would be a useful replacement. The OSRS rate of 10x your current level being 990 XP at level 99 seems like a reasonable starting point, but the exact amount could have some wiggle room after comparing it against Alora’s normal XP-per-hour rates, especially if XP multipliers affect lamps. It should feel rewarding without being efficient enough to turn random events into a new training method. 

 

All in all, it’s a great idea, and I fully support it being implemented!
