We are back with another edition of the Alora Newspaper. Last week we had some pretty cool things happen. This week was not different.

 

 

We had some pretty amazing updates from Omicron this week. Some of them were:

 

Rejuvination pool:

Usable by donators

Restores: Special attack energy, Run energy, Prayer, Hitpoints

Cures poison

Usable once every 3 minutes

Located in the smithing room in Edgeville

 

Rune pouch added:

 

All options work 100%(check,store,withdraw,empty)

Can store/remove up to 16,000 of 3 types of runes

Will use these runes to cast spells, but will prioritize inventory runes

On death Pouch will always be sent to reclaimable shop for 1M gp

Runes will always be dropped on the floor

 

Bonds:

Bonds can be purchased and traded ingame between players

The player who opens the bond receives: 100 tokens + a boost to their 'total spent' by $10 and if applicable their rank is increased

The player who purchases the bond is deducted: 100 tokens + their 'total spent' is reduced by $10 and if applicable their rank is decreased

 

Lunar Diplomacy Quest:

*Items are NOT lost on death*

Fight against a series of bosses to unlock the Lunar Shop which contains:

Lunar equipment

Helm of neitiznot(for ironmen)

 

Miscellaneous: 

Onyx bracelets can now be enchanted(and used with Zenyte to create the Tormented bracelet)

Malediction shards and Odium wards can now be combined

You can use the pieces on the Volcanic forge in level 53 wilderness(north-east)

Added a few more server tips

Ironmen can now access the PKP Exchange shop

Fixed ladder from wilderness poison spider pit(before KBD) going back to wilderness, put you in wrong area previously

Skotizo is now more powerful and more defensive

Some Wilderness bosses now have a slight chance at dropping a Rune pouch 

 

 

 

 

 

This is a new section for the newspaper which will now be done on a weekly basis if there are updates to the rules.

 

The following rule was updated on November 29th, 2016.

19.  Yell
 
a.Advertising a Clan (Gambling) through yell  is strictly dealt with, and an automatic Mute in-game will be given after  having already received a warning.
b. Using different colors or crown effects through yell is strictly forbidden.

 First Offense - Warning | Second Offense - 24 Hour Mute | Third Offense - 48 Hour Mute

 

There were a couple of changes to the staff team this week.

 

The following promotions happened.

 

 

 

Lord Senpai has been promoted to server mod.

 

Volta has been promoted to server support once again, we'd like to welcome back an old member of the staff team.

 

Strato has been promoted to server support.

 

 

However we sadly had to let go some of the staff.

 

Jare has been demoted due to his long inactivity. He had things going on IRL, but I haven't had an update in a while.

 

 

 

We thank them for their help on the team.

 

 

 

 

This is another section of the news paper that we will be doing on a weekly basis now. The player of the week is a player that has been seen going out of his way to help others and promoting activity on the server. Congradulations to Flipper on being this week's player of the month.

 

He has won 10M. We will contact you shortly to give you your prize.

Lowkey, despite having a family to take care of he's also taking care of the Community of Alora.

 

Tell me about the best vacation you’ve ever taken.

Would be when i was the first time in Miami for 2 Weeks, The weather was always sunny.

 

 What is the weirdest scar you have and how did you get it?

Guess that would be the scar on my left foot that i got at the military basic training when i was pulling another comrade to the front and acciedently fell down on my weapon which created a huge scratch on my foot.

 

 If you could trade lives with one person for an entire day who would it be and why?

Harambe , i always wanted to know the perspective of a gorilla. Though he died. #harambe.
