Hey, As I can see, There's a lot of great guides on forums, Thinking about that, I decided to make this suggestion.

Guide Master - You can obtain this award if you've made at least 3 quality guides for Alora.

There's a lot of great guides on forums, as I quoted before, As compensation for those guide creators, would be cool to have an award to compensate their times and willpower.

Not bad of an idea. However, I feel that writing 3 guides would be a bit too easy. I think players who show that they have written helpful guides would be decided by the higher ups, just like Bug Finder, Vocal, Star, etc.

well like what moral said, 3 is pretty much easy unless the staff/higher up decides if its helpful so they give u the award, support this if its decided by higherup / staffs if the guides are helpful enough to get the award

I wouldn’t mind seeing this, however, the guides would have to be of high quality and actually helpful. Their helpfulness as mentioned by @ Moral truth should be determined by members of the staff team. I think this would benefit the forums by pushing people to post more high quality guides that will help out a ton of people.

I wouldn’t mind seeing this also, but I would suggest that the staff team chooses if the user deserves the award as anyone can create a guide but does it stand out from others? I feel adding this we’lol find more guides coming into the forums (which I don’t mind) but I wouldn’t want to see for example “15 Guides in how to kill Zulrah”

I wouldn't mind seeing the addition of this if the requirement was increased. I believe 3 is too easy and players can abuse it by putting minimum effort in posting guides.

I wouldn’t mind this, maybe make the required amount of guides higher since the name is Master after all. With that being said I Support this.

I like the idea but people with quality guides should get this, I can already see people making 3 guides which are already here, for example F 8 ‘s guides or Austin posts his guides should get this award.

This idea has been suggested before and denied because people who create quality awards get a "Sticky" award. But I'm all for an award like this again, support.

Pretty sure we already have a similar award, which is called sticky like Moe mentioned above. Don't think adding another award for the sake of this is necessary, but if the majority of the community actually wants it then I don't really mind. I am all of which is best for the community, so I'll remain neutral.

Yeah, but the Sticky award can be given from having threads stickied on other sub-forums, not just the Guide section.

 

I'm all for new forum awards however as others have mentioned, it'll be too easy to obtain the award.

I'd love to see this suggestion being accepted in the near future, but with Moral truth 's input in the sense of how this award can be earned.

It's a cool, fun and simple idea. I think it should be more like 5-10 guides. People would create more guides and make competition.

Yeah sure. But let this be known. Our forums would be over-flodded with re-made guides...potentially leading to repeated text but with changed images; simply  because this rank would be easily obtainble. 

 

I suggest changing the reqs to

• 2+ guides pinned by administrators
