So the entire server is clueless right now including admins on what is actually going on regarding the update. My team has been online for 3 hours now waiting with no idea on whats happening.
How hard is it to post a 1 sentence long statement like "Ran into issues, it will be out in a few hours"?

I think at this point I just want to know what's going on aswell,
if it's delayed I have no problem with that at all just let us know so I can sleep.

same, i think most of us would have no problem with there being a set back that may take another day or two to work out. it would just be nice to get an update about it instead of just sitting here lol

Lowkey already addressed why it was delayed, Omi told him that he ran into some last minute problems and he was fixing them.
Yeah and then he moved the ETA to 7pm. It's now past 9.
This is why he shouldn't be giving eta's .

ETA stands for ESTIMATED TIME OF ARRIVAL, doesn't mean it will happen right then, it's an estimate, maybe Omi found something big he had to fix and releasing the mode would fuck it up, if you're too impatient then go to sleep and when you wake up it'll be up and running

Agreed.
Broadcasts saying 'Livestreaming the new update coming out soon!' - For 2 hours in a row provides hope, now nothing.
I wouldn't care if it took another day, just the fact I've waited up for 3 hours till 2am and still nothing at all, not even an update.

Ok? So IF he ran into a problem whys it so hard to type something in the forum shoutbox letting us know?
Even the admins are pissed off right now and rightfully so, this was a terrible way to go about this.

100% agree with this, its honestly super annoying. We'd rather you say there are problems and it will be another day, as opposed to keeping us in the dark other than saying "soon" for 2+ hours.

The thing is, he ran into last-minute problems right before the release. If I had to guess, since then he fixed those problems and more arose and he's just been fixing problems non-stop since 7. They claimed there was a delay so we're not really in the dark, we know there are problems and I don't think they can provide an accurate ETA cause they don't have one. As a developer sometimes you have issues, when solved, create other issues. Omni pushed himself very hard to provide us with this update very close to when OSRS updated so cut him a bit of slack, the guy is doing his best. We have all been waiting, and it is disappointing, but what good will an apology post do us while they are focused on pushing the update? Just my 2 cents :).

You're ignoring my point. It's just a bad look not providing any information on the issue. The only thing the community was told is through lowkeys stream that it would be delayed until 7pm. It's now midnight and we're still wondering if it's even coming tonight.
I don't care that it was delayed, I have plenty of experience when it comes to the development process so I understand that shit happens. I just care about how it's being handled.
