With the new release of the farming guild, one of the great additions was the hespori patch. You have a chance to get a hespori seed from harvesting, clearing, or checking the health of crops anywhere in Alora, or by completing farming contracts (seed packs). You can learn more about farming contracts by reading
0ptimuscope
's guide here.
Once you get ahold of a hespori seed, it can be planted at the hespori patch in the west wing of the farming guild (65 Farming required). Once it's grown, you have to fight it. When it's defeated, it gives you a great amount of farming experience, plus you'll receive some seeds on your inventory.
Without futher ado, let's get into this guide!
Finding The Hespori Patch
Spoiler
Once you have a hespori seed with a seed dibbler and a rake on you, you are ready to go to the farming guild.
Firstly, you would want to be at ;;home, which by default, it would be in Edgeville. Go to the teleport wizard, click Skilling, then click Farming Guild.
Then, go north and head to the west wing of the farming guild. You should see a cave.
Enter the cave, and you will find the hespori patch.
Lastly, rake the patch, and plant the hespori seed. It takes 32 hours to grow on OSRS, so it will take about 16 hours here on Alora.
Preparing For Hespori
Spoiler
Hespori is a combat level 284 demi-god with 300 HP. It is aggressive.
It can attack you with ranged and magic from a distance. It is advised to use Protect From Magic with 1-2 prayer potions.
Using melee gear is recommended, but it is possible to range Hespori with a toxic blowpipe.
It is poisonous, so it can be useful to bring 1 antipoison, superantipoison, etc. to cure yourself from poison.
Its max hit is 16, so it can help to bring a bit of food, such as monkfish or higher.
If you die, your items will be dropped in the cave. You will have to teleport back to the farming guild and run back to the cave to retrieve your items.
Dying or leaving the cave during the fight will end it. You would have to re-log and plant another hespori seed into the patch and wait 4 hours before fighting again.
Hespori is currently not instanced, which means that if another player is fighting Hespori, you would have to wait until they are finished as the cave is single-combat.
Once you are back into the cave, inspect Hespori, and the fight will begin. 4 flowers will spawn around Hespori as the fight starts. You are unable to attack Hespori until you kill the 4 flowers. They only have 10 HP. The flowers spawn again when Hespori is at 66% HP and 33% HP.
If you would like to see a video demonstration of the fight, feel free to watch the video below.
Spoiler
After The Fight
Spoiler
After defeating Hespori, you can now clear the patch with your spade. If you forgot your spade, you can leave the cave to go get it, then come back to the cave. You're welcome to bring another hespori seed to plant on the hespori patch if you have one.
They will always drop an anima seed, which can be planted on the anima patch in the west wing of the farming guild (76 Farming).
Loot:
Spoiler
12,600 XP in Farming (before multipliers)
Although the Hespori can drop many different seeds, the notable drops are:
Anima seeds (Attas, Iasor, Kronos)
These seeds are exclusive to the Hespori, and you will always receive at least 1 of the seeds per kill.
Anima seeds are unique in that they are untradable, and only obtained after defeating the Hespori (which spawns from the Hespori patch beneath the guild).
3 seeds, which all have passive effects within the guild while they are planted:
Attas seed:
Increases the yield of farming patches
Iasor seed
Decreases the chance of patches becoming diseased
Kronos seed
Provides a chance for farming patches to skip a growth stage (growing more quickly)

. Very fond of the guides you create and thank you for taking the time out of your schedule to create this topic. Appreciate it.
The "by Moral Truth" under the thread's title is a little unnecessary, but other than that it's a good guide. Thanks and good job,

It’s something that I’ve been used to doing ever since I started doing written guides on the Alora forums lol. Just looks a bit more official, I should say.
