How would this benefit Alora?: It would make more sense

 

So, instead of the well being "50m for 2.5 hours" my suggestion is to make it so that there is no cap on hours but instead it goes up by 1 hour for every 25m(tentative value) you put in, so if someone puts a tbow in(or twice in Adex's case) and the exchange value of a tbow is let's say 1b, that would give the well 40 hours of goodwill bonuses instead of a measly 2.5 hours for one of the most expensive items in-game.

I don't see why not. The additional timer for item donations for sure makes sense. In my opinion, there shouldn't even be a cap :shrug: . If people want to run up the well with a ton of gp, then the well is doing it's job. Support.

Would be nice if no cap. Same amount gets removed from eco either way/ maybe more if people know donating a big item would provide the xp bonus for the server for a longer time, would also help in off peak when not many people donating to well. support

I mean, I'm sure we all support this one, but will it be changed in-order to MINIMIZE the GP sink in the game, I really do not know about that one. If it is done, then YAY US ALORIANS!

I fully support the idea and the testing on it for the community when @Adex donates another tbow.

This sounds like a great idea and will cut out the issue of the people that want the forum award and not being able to donate to the well as people get to it typically pretty fast (myself being one of these people trying to get the award oof).

Support from me. Except since there'd be no cap on time limit, bump up the cost per hour to help the GP sink. 40-50m per hour. Haven't really played normie/classic, so I don't know the eco well. But just my two cents.

This would be very nice. Although i believe it should go in increments, first hour for 25m, want to add another hour: 35m and so on.

Support, could be annoying to have extended timer on your vote book due to donator rank just to have to wait on the well timer to restart to use them together.

Personally like the well as it has always been, keeps people on guard when money needs to be put in. It would only get rid of one persons GP/Items if said one person was rich. Everyone should donate to it and if only one is donating to it kind of removes the point of the well IMO.

Sounds good! How about everything above the normal 50m counts as 0.8 of the normal value though to create a further sink and cost for the convenience of pre-loading the well

I do have another addition to this though. Most (expensive) items don't have a correct price. 

 

Scythe: Street value: 2,8b - 3b. 

Rapier: Street value: 900 - 1,1b

 

This would be an issue to this suggestion. The prices have to be updated to street value every now and then, if your suggestion passes.
