What is your suggestion?: To make the dark mage teleport to blood runes shorter, the teleport to death runes is just next to the altar I don't see why you have to run triple the time for blood runes. With this change it would make it worth it for players to actually craft blood runes for exp and not have countless of pure essence sitting in your bank. This would be a great quality of life for players and it will still take alot of time to craft the blood runes.

 

Is this in OSRS?: No, all aother runes are alot closer except soul runes for it's insane exp which I get.

 

Has this suggestion been accepted already?: Not that I know, if so ignore my post.

 

How would this benefit Alora?: With this change it would make it worth it for players to actually craft blood runes for exp and not have countless of pure essence sitting in your bank. This would be a great quality of life for players and it will still take alot of time to craft the blood runes so I don't see any negatives in this change.

I may be extremely wrong on this;

 

I believe it is like that now due to the introduction of GOTR. With the blood talisman, which you require to craft blood runes through pure essence , it may teleport you closer possibly? (not too knowledgeable on this).

 

However I would like to see a re-work or something to knock out all the pure ess sitting in the bank. Even though blood runes can be made through dark essence blocks/shards, it'd be nice for an accessible pure essence method.

Honestly a very nice QoL addition. Would make blood rune crafting more easy. Support.

I wouldn't mind it being closer, maybe the mage taking you right outside of the ruins so you still need the blood tali/tiara/rc cape. Support.

The blood rune altar is by far the most convenient altar (as far as utility) in the game, which is why we moved it further away. It's the same reason we didn't speed up the old method of blood runecrafting. Not only that, but the recent changes with Guardian's of the rift allows players to earn many more runes with multipliers and larger pouches that previously didn't exist. Blood runecrafting may not the best experience per hour, but it is a very fast way to accumulate blood runes, and there's no reason to make it faster.
