I originally came up with this suggestion because I'm currently going for 200m farming on a GIM. While trying to get the most out of my limited supply of seeds, I tend to wait for the gods to spawn before starting my farm runs for the day. I feel like this could be beneficial for people who are in a similar boat as me. Including the rest of the events is just a bonus.

Since it doesn't provide the location for Skotizo/Chest/Key in the event page, people wouldn't just be able to camp at the location right as they spawn. They could just be geared and ready to go at the most.. Which isn't that much different from them spawning, and someone loading a loadout within seconds of them spawning, and teleing to the location.

yeah sure why not, i see only positives from this being implemented.

even if omicron can have it properly coded for the weekend events also get added in, cause sometimes i cbf checking/using forums.

I get the benefits, but I'd have to say no support on this. It takes aware from the "competition" of these events

• The supply chest already has a 3 minute warning and gets camped by pkers. I actually think it'd be better if there was no heads up.
• For shooting stars, you can build a telescope in the Study room of your POH, which tells you when the next star is expected to land. The higher tier telescope, the more "accurate" the estimated time is. This is probably the only real "competitive" recurring event on the server. Some stars don't last very long during peak hours, but I think if someone is checking their telescope in order to be ready or willing to drop everything they're doing to be one of the first players to get that big xp drop, then they should be rewarded for that. I don't think an easily accessible timer for stars would be a good thing.
• The RL plugin "presets" can be used for the god ::event and skotizo. You can be geared and the first one there most times if you're active in-game. 
• Bloody Key - most people don't camp these items and similar to supply chests, there's a 3 minute heads up

What it comes down to, for me, is that if you want to reap the benefits of these events then you need to be ready at any given moment for them.

I agree with what @ HCIM Tamber is saying.

We get enough heads ups in game to get ready for certain activities. 

As for an heads up on weekend events. When you log in you get an overview of what events are active and for how long they are active already.

Interesting choices between everyone, how about it gives a generalized timer "5 Minutes" or such but not a count down to the second?
