Herblore is a skill that allows players to make their own potions from herbs and various secondary ingredients.

 

My main direction in this guide will be for normal game modes that can trade but can also be used in any other game mode, and remembering that this skill will not be that cheap to level up, that being said, we will get there making potions.

 

To start out and to make things way easier and to hurry up the process, I recommend buying the ingredients in a reasonable amount to level up till the next, which you will find there down below.

 

Herblore Shop

In game, by typing ::shops, you come to the shops area, where you will find Kaqemeex.

 

Zahur

To turn things way easier and faster, buy the grimy herbs and the same amount in vial of water, then type ::home and walk to furnace (shown in picture down below), outside you will find Zahur, who can be a great hand to help you cleaning your dirty herbs and making (Unf) potions for you.

Talking to her, you choose that option to clean your herbs in exchange for some gp.



Right after, She can also make the unfinished potions for you in exchange for some gp instead of yourself adding herb to vial of water 1 by 1, but remembering, you will need to have Desert Hard Diaries completed to be able to do that, if you could not, I recommend asking someone who does have for that favour.
 

 

Wesley

Wesley can be found next to Zahur, he can crush the secondary items you need, in exchange for some coins.

Having done these steps, we have already completed a good part of the process, now we just need to add the secondary ingredients into the unfinished potions to make the potions.

Recommendable way to 99 and 200m xp in the skill are making Saradomin Brew potions.
(Ingredients are not hard to get and are not that expensive.)

 

 

Hope this simply guide can be useful for you, although Herblore is not a difficult skill to learn and level up, I decided to make this post to put you on the rails.

For people wondering how much it would cost to get herblore from 99 to 200M

If you buy the toadflax and crushed nests from Kaqemeex at ::shops 1 potion will cost you 8679 coins

 

1 sara brew made = 5265 xp with Well of Goodwill, without other bonus and without Skill of the Day on Normal mode

 

186,965,569 xp to go till 200M

Thats 35512 sara brews, which will cost you +- 308M
