What is your suggestion?:

Add some new roles in the discord for those who have achieved certain accomplishments.

These would be similar to the forum awards, but far fewer of them.

 

- Maxed in specific game modes (no normie, too easy)

- Achieve server best time for any boss kill

- Grandmaster combat achievements in any game mode

- Collect 1,000 items in the collection log

- Obtained completionist cape in any game mode

- Reached max XP in any game mode

How would this benefit Alora?:

1. It's something the admins could add so it wouldn't take dev time away from Omicron

2. It gives an additonal reason for those active on discord to strive for certain goals

3. They're fun to collect

Those are some real big achievements and not some that are going to be handed out daily. Support, shouldn't take that much time out of an admins day.

Personally I'd rather leaving them as they actually are.
Forum for awards and Discord as most a chat than an award place.

On one hand it would be nice to have the roles you're suggesting (except the Collection log one and the speed time one), but on the other hand I feel like it would be a bit too much. If we were to add these, I think the donator roles would take priority over these, so you wouldn't really see them most of the time.

I'm neutral for now until we see what more people think.

I think for Discord we have enough of donator rank status, no need to over do it.

I think like H mentioned, the Donator rank would be the one to determine the color/icon by your name. These other roles would only be visible if you click the players Discord profile :)

My smooth racoon brain is always down for more things to collect.

However, maybe not the boss times as this would be a pain for disc staff to track.

Maybe a disc rank for rank 1 in each game mode?

The boss times are the easiest thing to track. The lectern at home displays all the names of those who hold a server record.

I’m all for adding new roles for achievements! When I was active on my old server, they had similar roles for top scores and rare items, and it was a great way to stay motivated. Plus, it’s fun to have something to show off in Discord.
