Goodluck on the IM, Cmdr Data! Like what Radagon said, I hope you keep your thread updated, looking forward to checking it out from time to time. In the future I definitely recommend once you get free time to totally revamp the thread to make it more appealing, totally dont have to though.

Thank you for the kind words! The goal is to define more goals and expand the thread out. I just wanted to get a base going to track the budding progress on the iron. If I’m going to play a restricted gametype, I want to see the progression.

Mini update, I passed 25m woodcutting experience yesterday. Didn’t get to play much yesterday but did a few inventories of magics. Going to push for 99 fletching/firemaking tonight than move into a different skill.

Thank you thank you! I started some combat yesterday. That’s going to be a slow haul for sure. Thinking I need to do Monkey Madness II for the dragon scimmy.

I'll update my progress thread soon, I'm interested to see how it's been going for you! It's been a cool experience for me so far, obviously you catch yourself going to buy something and you're like ahhhhhh for the first few hours hahaha. I've got some 99s now at least, managed to get void and torso etc.

 

Do you have any tips or guidance or anything that you've found useful starting out? I feel like I'm missing a few tricks here hahaha.

The biggest game changer I’ve experienced so far is that rune pick axes can be purchased from Cam Torum and the rune hatchet from the WC guild. Enjoying the grind so far, gotta start working on gathering some combat gear. The adamant scimmy isn’t going to cut it (ba dum tss) much longer. Also going to finish graceful. The agility event this past weekend really helped motivate to do that haha

Yeah, absolute game changer lol. Ended up with a void mace for a bit hahaha, better than addy scim. Almost at the smithing level! It's wild how many times I keep going to buy stuff lol.
