[Ultreme]

Hello all!

 

I have finally made an ironman, It's simple enough to spot me, @ Ultreme Iron is the name, mining is the game (right now).

 

I want to make a progress thread, because, well... they're just lovely stories, if you actually stick to them.

 

Let's have a look at the barebones as of 15th November 2025 with less than 30 minutes of play time. Hit me up with any tips and guidance, it's all appreciated, I'll be asking in game and also crawling the forums. I'm ready for the challenge, I'll eventually go into harder modes but I've never really seen an ironman account through before so, exciting times to do that at Alora.

If I read this a few hours before I would have said getting a rune scimitar hahaha. I am just experiencing ironman for the first (proper) time, getting my skills up, mining and smithing at the moment, and then on the hunt for some combat gear and slayer to get into it. I've been reading the guides and any recommendations are welcome! I have about 80 tokens, will eventually get the farming 300 token item as that looks super useful for QoL, but at the moment just breezing along!

i actually really enjoy seeing these passionate posts that involves ones short term and long term goals and accomplishments.

i really do hope you strive for the highest/most extreme goals long term with this iron project. should be more justification to existing ingame compared to being a regular main. 

also glad your genuinely enjoying alora. warms my heart

Thank-you for your kind words! So far so good. I've honestly never made an iron before so it's pretty funny, it gives you a little bit of the "goblins at lumbridge, I need 10gp for the toll gate" feeling, for sure hahaha.

Okayyyyy, quick update. I have just been smashing out skills for supplies, onto achievements, farming and herblore (dying for pots) and quests next.

 

 

 

 

Yes I know I badly need to do some tasks! It's been fun so far, I'm probably missing a few tricks, working on the diary to get elite void, and escaping the void mace life. It's better than an addy scim though I'll give it some credit.

 

If I'm missing a trick please do let me know!

Ah yes, an update, this is what I enjoy to see.

 

Keep up the grinds brother and hope you enjoy the most of your ironman. Ironman life has taught me so much about this game.

@19 Thanks mate. Yeah literally, you take so much for granted. I feel like we all stopped learning even how RS works since GE dropped... it takes you back to Varrock big bank days where you had to go grind and sell your wares haha (other than the fact that you can't). It teaches you ridiculous amounts about the game. Loving the experience! Zero burnout on the menu either at the moment as every minute is a learning minute. Much more fun way to play after a whole load of normal accounts - totally different.

@Moe Hahaha thanks mate. I'm way too oldschool, stuck in vBulletin and IPB where most threads turned off edits. Only just clocked. Thanks man
