Ladies and gents, its that time of the year again! I wish you all the best of luck once Leagues comes out, and thank you again for hosting these Omicron! They are so much fun seeing everyone come online and start grinding. Feels like its day 1 of server release all over again haha.

Please consider increasing drop rate as well, this has been a re-occuring complaint in a temporary game mode. Please see (https://www.alora.io...agues-feedback/) for the support behind it, as well as the topics referenced. Thank you!

Edit: Consider adding Krystilia to Ferox so those who take Wilderness as a region are able to get Wilderness tasks, and in turn, Larrans keys.

 

 

Leagues is always fun, especially the grind for the best relics. However, I am worried that things that were a problem in last leagues persist on this one. I hope the feedback has been taken into consideration when thinking about the relics and point thresholds as well as the huge issue with drop rates in a temporary mode as someone already pointed out above. Raids should be guaranteed purples, to an extent. Hardmode ToB and 500 invocation ToA should be guaranteed purple and if done in teams, all of the players should get one. For CoX it is harder since we do not have challenge mode but it could be made like the chance to get one is 50/50 or so with 8k points or whatever. Nobody wants to be gate kept by bad RNG in a temporary game mode and this should mitigate it. You still need to grind lots of other PvM drops with the 5x multiplier (which I hope will be made to 6x or 8x like OSRS/Rs3 did).

 

Some questions:

1) Can we have the full relic and task list available before it launches? One of the best things about leagues has been able to think about the best route for x relic and so on and this has been slacking in Alora leagues unfortunately.

2) Do we still have x amount of regions to choose from or do we get all the regions? It would also be nice to know the amount of region unlocks and at what tiers do they happen. The post did not clarify.

3) How does the wilderness work with the leagues character? They will be OP with relics and what not so how is that handled when dealing with non leagues players? o:

4) Cooking npc when?

Some solid rewards are up for grabs! I honestly didn’t think I’d be back on the game until the new year, but this event twisted my arm. I can never say no to Leagues. Hope everyone has a good time playing over Christmas, and good luck to anyone going for it competitively.

As someone who has done leagues in the past where the drop rates were not affected, I agree with this 100%^.  I have seen many a people get burnt out before reaching that end point where the end game relics get really powerful. as someone who has been gatekept from top spots because of missing drops. I can also understand, haha. 

That being said, I am very excited for this event and appreciate the effort you guys put in. Thanks!

Krystilia will indeed be available at Ferox Enclave, and we will be boosting ToA and CoX rates to be easier for Leagues players this time around.

On the topic of rates for leagues, the topic for leagues 5 show that the drop rate increases were 3x, 4x, and 5x which is the same for this one? The only difference is getting the 3x and 4x one tier earlier with the last tier still being 5x.

 

Is this really going to make a difference especially with most raids and content reliant on rare drops not being done until higher tiers anyways? Once you get to tier 7 in this league it's slated to be the same rates as the last league which had more than enough feedback about this topic. 

 

See above, overall drop rate is not being adjusted but for ToA/CoX it will be.

1) I don't think this is necessary, and it makes things more exciting having to figure things out on the fly. Sure, it might cut into your time to accomplish tasks a little bit, but that's what makes it more exciting to have to figure out your path once the league launches.

2) You start off with 2 regions (Karamja/Kourend) and can unlock 3 more regions.

3) You cannot attack Non-League players and vice-versa. Even when fighting Leagues players you are not eligible for their loot.

So what’s the deal on donator ranks?

 

Similar to the previous League, your benefits are capped out at Extreme ($250) rank. You also cannot spend any tokens, so at the end of the League all of your rank and tokens will be transferred over to your linked main account. I can also manually move tokens (and rank) from your League account if you PM me to do so before the end of the League.

Leagues are fairly similar to OSRS so you can see some early League content on how to get started in Kourend, and also many of our tasks are going to be the same as previous Leagues, so you can see the last league task list here to get an idea of what to expect:

Will there please be a task completion, region unlocking, relic picking sound/jingle? Also can we also auto unlock music tracks for regions we can't access like Misthalin or Asgarnia?
