#383618 [13/12/20] Last Man Standing Loadouts, Reworked Quest Tab, New League Relics...

Posted by Omicron on 13 December 2020 - 01:23 AM

Hello everyone,

We hope you've been enjoying Leagues thus far! We've got a nice content update to hold you guys down until the Christmas event is released, including a couple of new League relics to keep you pressing towards the top of the hiscores. With this week, we see the long-awaited addition of customizable loadouts for Last Man Standing -- you'll no longer have to fight for gear with only a spear. The chests inside the game also now contain many new items, such as Barrows equipment, and heavy-duty weapons such as the Heavy ballista and Vesta's longsword. We also took the time to rework our quest tab and make it more intuitive as it felt outdated. There are many other bug fixes and QoL updates as well, such as deposit-all and deposit-invy buttons on the GIM bank and the ability to swap items. We'll let you see the rest for yourself:

  • Last Man Standing Improvements:
    • Gone are the days of arriving on the island with only a spear in hand, as you'll now be able to select your own loadout before heading into the arena:
      • Loadouts:
        • You can now create your own loadout of items and equipment to take into the Last Man Standing island.
          • Click on the Supply chest outside of the LMS entrance to customize your loadout.
            • There are 27 different items and supplies to choose from, including sharks, karambwans, brews, super combat potions, whips, dragonhide, dragon defender and more.
              • A rune pouch that contains unlimited water, blood, death and soul runes is also included.
            • Restrictions:
              • You cannot have more than 11 sharks.
              • You cannot have more than 2 Karambwans.
        • If you do not set your own loadout, a default loadout will be set up for you.
      • Chest changes:
        • In the new LMS mode, Instead of looting for food, potions and basic gear, chests will now provide for access to an offensive or defensive table with items such as:
          • Barrows armour, Ghrazi rapier, Armadyl crossbow, Armadyl godsword, Infernal cape, Elder maul, Eternal boots, Blessed spirit shield and more (https://i.imgur.com/o5TIxCH.png)
      • Regeneration changes:
        • Upon killing another player (in the new game mode), the following will be replenished:
          • Health, prayer points, run energy and any skills that were reduced.
        • You'll also have 3 sharks and 2 cooked karambwan added to your inventory.
    • Survivor mode:
      • The old spear mode where you rely more on RNG and looting chests, which is now referred to as "Survivor mode", is still a possible option that our Event manager @Moe can toggle, but the loadout game mode is the new default.
    • Rewards:
      • Added the Rune pouch to the LMS shop for 1,000 points.
      • Added the Victor’s capes (1, 10, 50, 100, 500, 1000) to the LMS shop.
        • The cost of these capes is 0 points, but a player must have the corresponding number of wins to purchase them.
      • Added the Swift blade to the LMS shop for 2,500 points.
      • Added the Magic shortbow scroll to the LMS shop for 75 points.
      • Added the Ring of Wealth scroll to the LMS shop for 75 points.
  • New quest tab:
    • A brand new, custom quest tab has been added!
      • We felt that Alora's quest tab was in need of an upgrade, so we've completely redesigned it to be more pleasant on the eyes, and more user-friendly.
        • There are 5 tabs:
          • Character summary:
            • Here, you'll find a general rundown of your character, along with the collection log button.
          • Quests
          • Achievements
          • Server statistics:
            • You'll see certain server details such as the time, uptime, skill of the day, etc.
            • You'll also find the old scrollbar with quick-actions and the list of all of your points, KDR, etc.
          • Leagues:
            • Locked to League players.
  • Quality of Life:
    • Players can now use instance tokens on other accounts to transfer them.
      • These tokens can only be transferred 1 at a time.
    • Players can now uncharge the Scythe of Vitur.
      • This requires at least 100 charges to do, and will return 1 Vial of Blood and 3 Blood runes for every 100 charges removed.
    • The special attack for the Infernal axe is now fully functional.
    • Added the Dragon scimitar to the Master clue drop table.
    • All of the Monkey cape variations now share the same item value (500k).
      • Previously, the new monkey cape variants only had an item value of 1 coin.
    • Added an option to swap the “Talk-to” option with the “Pickpocket” option for eligible NPC’s in the Runelite Menu Entry Swapper plugin.
      • This setting is enabled by default for convenience.
    • Players will now receive a second confirmation asking them if they’re sure they want to cancel their slayer task using a free super donator skip.
      • This only applies if a player has a slayer streak of at least 5 tasks, so players won’t be prompted repeatedly.
    • Hitpoint restoring now works properly with the Endless Endurance relic, allowing League players with this relic to have 8x faster health regeneration when used with the Rapid Heal prayer.
  • Vote book limitations:
    • Leagues players can no longer stack Vote book bonuses, and can only open a vote book once every 4 hours.
  • Bug fixes:
    • Fixed the issue where redwood trees would sometime disappear after chopping them and going to bank the logs.
    • Sarachnis will now properly count towards the "Temple spider" task for League players.
    • The Open gem bag now has a placeholder.
    • Empty Bird nests can now be noted.
    • Dragon claws can now be noted.
    • Removed the banker spawn outside of the Forthos dungeon.
    • Fixed an issue where most superior slayer encounters wouldn't count towards the League superior slayer tasks.
      • This will count retroactively, meaning you the next superior slayer monster you defeat, you’ll receive the kill counts for all previous superiors you’ve defeated.
    • Added banshee's as a valid Leagues task from Konar.
    • Added Fire giants as a valid Leagues task from Konar.
    • Fixed an issue where smithing would close the chatbox interface when private messaging another player.
    • Choke devils now count towards dust devil tasks.
    • Fixed an issue where cancelling tasks as a super donator would require points for League players.
    • Players with the Arcane courier relic will no longer have their mined dense essence blocks sent to the bank.
    • Fixed time tracker plugin times for Teak and Mahogany trees.
    • Ninja implings now have a fully functional drop table.
    • Players can now use the exit in the Lizardman Temple.
    • Disabled the slayer reward shop for league players.
    • Added a farming guild teleport to the Skills necklace.
    • Bruma Kindling will now be prioritized when feeding the brazier.
  • Leagues Hiscores have been added!
    • You can now track your competitors in Leagues by their total level.
    • You can also see the points on the Hiscores, but you'll have to use the in-game Leagues scoreboard to sort players by points.
  • Chambers of Xeric death bug fix:
    • Sometimes when a player dies in the raid, they would end up in a black map where they can't move.
      • This has been fixed, and rather than the raid trying to respawn you in the Olm room, it will simply respawn you on the same floor that you died on.
        • For example, if you die at Olm, you respawn at Olm. If you die on the 2nd level, you respawn at the start of the second level.
  • Leagues items on death fix:
    • A bug was causing players' items to disappear after 2.5 minutes, rather than the 10 minutes that they should be given.
      • This has been fixed and tested, and players will now have exactly 10 minutes to get back to where they died and retrieve their items.
  • Sarachnis teleportation fix:
    • A bug which was teleporting Leagues players out of the Sarachnis fight due to it not counting the spider's den as a part of Zeah has been fixed.
  • Group Ironman Bank Rework:
    • Players can now drag items on the Group ironman bank.
    • An option to deposit all equipped items has been added.
    • An option to deposit all items in a player’s inventory has been added.
  • League changes:
    • We’ve added the following tasks to the League:
      • Easy Tasks:
        • Equip a Rune crossbow.
        • Equip any Dragon tier weapon.
        • Complete a dark totem.
        • Sacrifice an ensouled head to the Dark altar.
        • Receive a unique item from a clue scroll.
      • Medium Tasks:
        • Equip an Abyssal Whip.
        • Receive 5 unique items from clue scrolls.
      • Hard Tasks:
        • Equip a Dark bow.
        • Receive 50 unique items from clue scrolls.
      • Elite Tasks:
        • Equip a piece of 3rd age equipment.
        • Catch a lucky impling bare-handed.
        • Receive 100 unique items from clue scrolls.
      • Master Tasks:
        • Receive 250 unique items from clue scrolls.
    • Tier 6 Relics:
      • We’ve added two new Tier 6 relics to the League.
        • Xeric’s Speed:
          • Increases attack speed of all weapons by 1 tick if possible (minimum of 1 tick speed).
            • This stacks with Xeric’s Focus, only if the weapon is a 4 tick speed weapon or higher.
        • Draining Strikes:
          • Any successful hit will have a 50% chance of restoring the player’s hitopins and prayer points by 10% of the damage dealt.
          • All attacks have 15% increased accuracy and 15% increased damage.

#321983 My resignation

Posted by God on 20 November 2019 - 08:03 PM

Ahh.....

This one feels weird.

Anyways...

It's been a mostly fun almost 2 year staff journey for me. I got staff some point early 2018 and Admin in late August. Throughout my time in staff I've accomplished some pretty amazing things, But unfortunately unless you are/have been/will be staff you won't get to see them. : )

But, I think this is where the journey ends for me.

I've recently become too busy with real life things and other games to be able to have the presence I know I could have/previously did show.

I thank mostly everybody who has been staff during my time and helped me or worked alongside me.

I'll tag a few people below who currently come to mind but I know I'm missing a ton of older staff. (I'm getting old, Barely remember breakfast.)

(No particular order):

@Salter

@KP

@Lowkey

@Hot Cakes

@Omicron

@Hellish

@Draisaitl

@Mack

@Kharyrll

@Paine

Without all of you this time wouldn't have happened/been near as fun. Thank you guys.

See you later, bye bye

#328491 3 years of Alora. (My resignation)

Posted by Ultistic on 26 December 2019 - 07:41 AM

For the less unfortunate that can't read or if you're just lazy. I also made a video:

Hello everyone!

Today is quite an unusual and unexpected day for most of you. I am resigning from Community Manager.

Without going into too much detail, I've been going through a ton of shit for about a year now which has put me in a terrible position currently. I will be moving irl later this week to finally focus on myself and will no longer be in the position I am in to be there for the Staff Team and most importantly, the community. I just want to be happy and I hope you guys can understand that!

I started my adventure in July 2016 and before Alora launched, I never once thought we would ever be this big and close of a community. I want to thank ALL of you for an amazing 3 years. I have made some amazing friends during this time and I can only hope we can all continue to be friends once I'm gone. I put everything I could into this Server for 3 years and I hope you guys have had as much fun as I had to watch the Community/Server turn into what it has today. Just because I'm leaving doesn't mean the server is shutting down or anything, so please don't think that. I want Alora and the community to continue to grow and be stronger even without me around. I could go on and on and list probably hundreds of names and shout certain people out, but I have a better chance of my hair growing back in than I do remembering every single person I've come in contact with over the last 3 years.

I will, however, shoutout 1 person, that being Omicron. Thank you for trusting me with an admin position when Alora first started. It was my first time being in that kind of position, as I left his old Server as just a Forum Moderator. I would also like to say thank you for trusting me with the CM rank for 2 years. He has helped me out more than you guys could even imagine. Going from 10 players online at a time to 500+ was a good change of pace for both of us and I wish nothing but the best on his success with Alora while I'm gone. Thank you for everything, Dan.

So with that being said, Once again I would like to say Thank you to EVERYONE that has been involved with Alora from 2016 to today. You guys are what make Alora successful and stay running. I hope you guys have enjoyed everything from the silly yells/broadcasts I do, Streams, Giveaways, Drop parties and the list goes on. I really do hope Alora keeps on growing and stays up for many more years.

I will still be around on discord, but will not be involved with the Staff Team or any CM duties. So if you would like to keep in touch, you can message me there.

I love all of you and thank you so much for all you have done over the past 3 years. You are what kept me logging in nearly every single day. Thank you.

Take care guys, keep being awesome and I hope you all continue to enjoy Alora <3

God is a midget, but my favorite midget <3

#362137 Discord Donation Scams

Posted by Moe on 05 July 2020 - 12:13 PM

Hello Alorians,

If you receive a PM from an account claiming to be @Moe or any other staff member offering to sell a $100 BOND for 115M OSRS GP or provide a discounted rate for OSRS GP donations, DO NOT TRADE THEM. Report these accounts to a member of the staff team immediately via Discord or on the forums.

@Omicron is the only person who handles donations and it is strictly on the forums. Any other "Staff" member trying to handle a donation outside the forums, will be attempting to scam you.

Example of the Scam PMs:

#345963 RuneLite... Coming to Alora?!

Posted by Omicron on 01 April 2020 - 01:01 PM

Ltf7ZH9.png

Hello everyone,

We’ve been working quietly for awhile now on a major project, and today we’re ready to share it with you: RuneLite is coming to Alora! This has been kept under wraps for the past few months, as we wanted to ensure that we were able to meet your expectations before making an announcement. Hundreds of hours of development have gone into this client, and we're now at a point where we can confidently share this news with all of you.

We'd like to highlight why this was an unrealistic task to begin with, and why we decided to focus on it. Initially, the task of making RuneLite compatible with Alora essentially involved rewriting most of the RuneLite client to be compatible with ours. Unlike other OSRS-based private servers which connect to RuneLite right out of the box with minimal changes, the Alora client is unique in that it is quite different than OSRS' client, as it is merged with a high-definition RuneScape client from 2008, which is how we're able to uniquely provide the HD mode. Unfortunately, this made the RuneLite job an extremely daunting task.

Nonetheless, we understand that this feature has been requested time and time again, and many of you have grown accustomed to the features provided by RuneLite, so we made it our priority for the past few months to properly connect most of the plugins with our client. We believe this will change the experience on Alora dramatically, and further cement us as the best option when it comes to RSPS. With our wonderful community and high update frequency, RuneLite is the icing on the cake that will make us stand out even more than we already have.

There is still a decent amount of work to do, so unfortunately we can't provide a guaranteed ETA, but what we can say is that we are working to bring it to you as quickly as possible :)

Without further ado, here are some previews of the functionality that we've already implemented:

We hope that you guys are just as excited as we are about this, and we're looking forward to sharing more details & progress soon :)

Edit: Not an April fools joke btw!

Omicron

#138748 Official Rules

Posted by Ultistic on 10 December 2017 - 07:36 AM

logo@2x.png

Rules and Regulations

Omicron and Tauri both reserve the right to punish any member as they see fit throughout the entirety of Alora.

Bans are not issued upon request.

Staff discretion applies to all the rules listed below.

In-game Rules

1. Flaming, Disrespect, Harassment, and Inappropriate Content

Within Alora, we seat a culturally diverse community. Communities contain different races, beliefs, ethics, sexual orientations, etc. It is vital that we preserve and protect each culture and that we ensure equality throughout Alora as a whole. The denigration or defamation of a member will not be tolerated. First offenders will receive a 24-hour mute, followed by a 48-hour mute, increasing to a 7-day mute, a 14-day mute, and finally, a permanent mute.

• a. The use of inappropriate, slanderous, and/or disrespectful language towards another’s race, belief system, mental health, ethics, or sexual orientation to personally attack an individual or group will not be tolerated. Although we have an effective ignore system, we expect our members to be courteous towards one another.

• b. Content that is publicized via world yell, public chat, or clan chat that is deemed inappropriate, demeaning, or disrespectful per a staff member’s discretion is not permitted and will correspond with the punishments stated above.

• c. Account names containing inappropriate, slanderous, and/or disrespectful language towards another's race, belief system, ethics, or sexual orientation are not tolerated. Failure to comply with this will result in a permanent ban of the account.

• d. Any form of griefing in an attempt to troll or purposely disrupt another player's activities will not be tolerated. This rule will be enforced through the staff's discretion. Failure to comply with this will result in a 1-hour jail, followed by a 5-hour jail, increasing to a 24-hour ban, and finally, permanent ban. Please note that any reports of grief that do not include video evidence will be declined.

• e. Harassment will be defined as anything that can be considered targeted to a specific group or person. This rule is enforced through the staff's discretion. Punishments will correspond with the ones stated above. Further action may be taken if it's deemed a group activity or the users involved represent a group. *This applies to the entirety of Alora including forums.

2. Advertising

Advertisement of another RSPS related community is strictly prohibited. Failure to comply will result in an immediate removal from the community with no chance of appeal.

• a. Widespread, ordinary links (eg. YouTube, RuneLocus, Rune-Server, TopG) are acceptable and will oftentimes be permitted, granted one does not take advantage of this exception.

• b. Discussing other active servers in-game and/or on the forums is strictly forbidden. You may discuss any RSPS that is not online. Members who wish to advertise a link that is not related to RSPS or was not one of the common links aforementioned may send a link to an administrator and await a response containing approval before publicizing their desired link.

• c. Direct advertisement will not be tolerated on Alora. (eg. "Come fight me on Alora, they have a better combat system!"). First offenders will receive a 24-hour mute, followed by a 48-hour mute, increasing to a 7-day mute, and finally, a permanent mute.

• d. Alora has a filter in place to avoid discussion that is harmful to Alora as a whole. Any attempt to get around this system will result in a 48-hour mute, followed by a 7-day mute, and finally, a permanent mute. In addition, any attempt to get around the filter in order to sway other players to donate/switch to another active server will be punished more severely with a 7-day IP-mute, followed by a permanent ban, with the end result being a permanent removal from the community.

• e. Whilst we value our clans, we will not tolerate blatant advertising/discussion of other servers, either in their clan chats or, their discord. Our priority here, is to communicate our concerns & work with clans to combat this. If needed &, as a last resort, we will resort to punishments.

3. Spamming

Spamming on Alora is not allowed, as it causes disarray throughout the server. We aim to maintain a cordial, pleasant atmosphere on Alora. We expect our members to be respectful of one another. Failure to comply with this rule will result in a 24-hour mute, followed by a 48-hour mute, and finally, a permanent mute. If excessive enough, the wrongdoer can be given an IP-Mute, and, finally, a permanent ban will be put into effect if deemed necessary. If the content of the spam contains terribly inappropriate, derogatory, or offensive text, the wrongdoer will receive the latter.

• a. If a member acquires a donor status that has a fairly short yell cool-down timer, that does not give them the right to abuse it under any circumstances.

• b. An auto-typer is allowed via public chat to buy or sell items. However, one must have at least 15-second intervals between each message with or without an auto-typer.

• c. Excessive begging for personal gain will not be tolerated on Alora.

• d. Advertising videos, Youtube channels, Or Alora related content will fall under the 5 minute "World yell" timer listed below.

4. Misleading Links, Hacking, and Threats

Misleading links are taken extremely seriously. We expect all links to follow the guidelines (see rule 2) and open up to whatever the link was rightfully advertising. Failure to comply with this rule will result in permanent removal from the community.

Any form of hacking will result in permanent removal from the community.

Threats that will put a member’s livelihood, security, personal information, and reputation at risk will result in permanent removal from the community.

• a. Threatening to DDoS a member of the community will not be tolerated, whether you are joking or not. Players found doing this will be punished. First offenders will receive a 72-hour mute, followed by a 1-week IP-mute, and ultimately the player will be MAC/IP banned on their 3rd offense. Aside from the threats, players found to be actually DDoSing another member of the Alora community will receive a complete removal from the community immediately with no chance of appeal.

- Here on Alora, we offer many methods of security by insisting our players use unique passwords and constantly reminding players to enable 2FA. This being said, our Staff Team works hard to keep our players' accounts secure, but it is ultimately up to the player to ensure that security with the tools we have available. Hacked accounts that do not have 2FA enabled are NOT ELIGIBLE for a refund.

• b. Threats against Alora as a whole will not be tolerated. When you threaten Alora you are also threatening every single member of our community, and thus will be held responsible for threats against each and every player. Those who threaten to DDoS Alora will receive a permanent removal from the community with no chance of appeal.

5. Punishment Evasion

Punishments that are assigned to members are given to further better Alora as a community and maintain a stable, fair, and efficient environment. With that being said, those who evade will not be dealt with lightly; if a member feels as if they were wrongly punished, they can go about it the right way by appealing and constructively stating their case. If one evades, it will result in a ban or an IP-Ban, depending on the magnitude of the situation.

• a.  Giving a user that is evading a ban money and/or items is considered encouraging others to break the rules. Refer to rule #10.

6. Real World Trading

The act of purchasing/selling goods or services (accounts, real-life items, RSGP, Microsoft points, riot points, other private server items for Alora items, etc.) will not be tolerated. This rule further effaces hacks, scams, etc. We will not be held responsible for a scam or hacking. Failure to comply will result in the seller being permanently banned with a complete bank wipe, followed with an IP-ban the second time around. As for the buyer, a 72-hour ban with a complete bank wipe will be arranged, granted it was the first offense. The second offense will result in a 7-day ban with a complete bank wipe, and, lastly, a permanent ban.

• a. Purchasing or selling any Alora account, or donor status is not permitted on the server or forums. First offenders will receive a permanent ban with no chance of appeal; the second offense will result in an IP-ban.

Disclaimer: The attempt or conspiracy to real-world trade will be punished the same as if the user had committed the act(s) in question.

7. Account Sharing

An account should be actively used by the owner only. This goes for all types of accounts whether it is a level 3 scout for the wilderness, a shared account people used to Teleblock other players, or an account you would share with a friend. Account sharing in an effort to progress another user's account or achievements will be punished with a 48-hour ban, followed by a permanent ban for both parties. For example, if you need items off your friend's account you may log in and take them. But you aren't allowed to go train fishing for him.

• a. Any attempt to give an account away will not be tolerated on Alora. Offenders will receive a permanent ban on the account being given away.

• b. Any form of account services (ex. Inferno Cape service, XP gained/PVMing/PKing in exchange for something) is strictly prohibited and will result in a permanent ban for the service provider, and a 7-day ban for the service purchaser, along with a wipe of the item(s) received from the service.

8. Third-Party Software

Applying the use of third-party software that allows a member to have an (any) unfair advantage whatsoever will result in a 24-hour ban, followed by a 48-hour ban, with an ending result of a permanent ban. We strive to maintain an honorable environment where fairness flourishes and hard-earned achievements are commended. This includes auto-clickers, auto-typers, AHK.

• a. The use of botting clients/scripts/ghost mouse are forbidden and will result in an IP-ban as well as permanent bans on all owned accounts.

9. Multi-Logging

Multi-logging is not against the rules of Alora, as we do allow players to be logged into multiple accounts at once (maximum of 5 connections at any one time). However, we do not allow multi-logging to gain an extreme advantage over other users. We are striving to maintain an environment in which no player has an exponential advantage over other players. First offenders will receive a warning, Second offenders will receive a 24-hour ban, Third offenders will receive a 48-hour ban and bank wipe if deemed necessary, followed up with a permanent ban, and finally, an IP-ban

• a. Playing on multiple accounts at once while participating in the same skill, boss, minigame, or activity outside of the wilderness is allowed up to 3 accounts at a time. Anything that exceeds that will be deemed a violation and the appropriate punishment will be handed to all accounts involved.

• b. Multi-logging in the wilderness is allowed if you have no interaction between any of your accounts. If you have one account skilling in the resource area, and another account killing people in the Revenant Caves this is OK. It is not OK, for example, to skill in the resource area and kill other players there on your alternate account or have multiple accounts participating in the same skill, boss, minigame, or activity. It is also not allowed to use a second account to protect your accounts in the wilderness. Scouts are also allowed to an extent, as long as they do not allow an unfair advantage over other players in the Wilderness. Firstly, scouts must be Level 3 combat and have ABSOLUTELY NO ITEMS equipped or in their inventory. Secondly, for example, if you bring a scout to Chaos Elemental to see who is there BEFORE teleporting there, this is okay. It is not okay, however, to plant a scout outside of the Rev Caves entrance while you kill Revs so that you can see when PKers are coming. Scout must leave before the main account can teleport to this location. This rule also applies to the use of the second account to assist yourself with bossing or skilling in the wilderness.

10. Encouraging Others to Break Rules

Members that are somehow encouraging others to break a rule whether or not the enticed member understands that specific rule will receive a 24-48 hour mute or 24-hour ban, depending on the extremity or severity of the rule.

• a.  Giving a user that is evading a ban money and/or items is considered encouraging others to break the rules and the first offense will result in a 7-day ban followed with a permanent ban for the second offense.

11. Bug Abuse

Abuse of a bug or glitch that allows a member to somehow have an advantage over another member or the server itself is not tolerated. We strive to better Alora each and every day. In doing so, we ask all members to report any bugs or glitches as soon as they are found; if tampered with after, a permanent ban will be issued.

• a. Boss manipulation (safe spotting) is the flagrant act of maneuvering a boss into a position where it cannot properly perform its functions and/or mechanics. The usage of safe spot methods not available on Oldschool Runescape will not be tolerated on Alora. Wrongdoers will serve one hour in jail, followed by 5 hours in jail, with the ending result being a permanent ban.

12. Gambling/Scams/Refunds (Disconnects, Donations, etc.)

• a. Scammers will be punished severely with a permanent ban on their first offense, followed up by an IP-ban on their second offense. Scammed members will not be refunded because we provide effective methods to avoid being scammed, such as using a middleman (server support, moderator, administrator, etc.). Please note that we do not accept photo-reports of members being scammed. One must provide video evidence, or it will not be handled.

• b. Disconnections will not be refunded.

• c. Donations will only be refunded if the player has not been given their items or position (forums, server) after 72 hours; otherwise, a refund is not required. Items that have been claimed through our donation system will not be refunded.

• d. Reset of the server and/or forums will be refunded if the player has posted valid proof of their purchase in 'Donations' board; otherwise, a refund is not required.

- Gamble scams will be refunded if the user has proper proof as stated above.

- Changing agreed-upon rules or switching weapons (Staff of the dead + spec in a DDS fight) in a duel is considered scamming regardless of who wins the duel.

• e. Glitch refunds will only be refunded if the member has enough proof and has proof of containing the items prior to the occurrence of the glitch. Note that if Omicron does not see the proof as satisfactory, it can be declined and a refund will not be issued.

• f. The only people who are allowed to be Middle-Manning are Staff Members. Anyone else caught doing so will be punished as follows: first offense will result in a warning and wipe of wealth gained from the incident, second offense will result in a 24-hour ban and wipe of wealth gained from the incident, followed by a permanent ban and bank wipe and then a IP-ban.

• h. Custom donations made for other players are non-refundable under any circumstances, and refunding the payment without permission will result in a permanent MAC/IP ban across all accounts.

13. Player versus Player (PvP)

Alora is not held responsible for members who have lost, disconnected, etc., while in the wilderness. The wilderness, or 'No man's land', if you will, for the most part, has no restrictions; hence why it can be referred to as 'No man's land'. However, we do have a few rules:

• a. PvP-Farming: Designed as a system to reward PKers, any attempts to abuse this through arranged/paid-for kills will be punished - on a case by case basis. The first offense will receive a 7-day ban & wipe of the estimated wealth gained, the second offense will result in a permanent ban & any further transgressions will result in an IP-ban. Note: We reserve the right to change the severity of our given punishments based on the severity of a case.

• b. Luring is allowed for the most part. The few exceptions to this rule are members cannot attempt to lure via world yell or servers clan chats such as Alora and Help. Attempting to lure staff by asking for help whilst in the wilderness or anything else that involves blatant deception will result in a ban. The first offense will result in a 24-hour ban followed up by a 72-hour ban with the ending result being a 7-day ban + bank wipe.

• c. Attacking another player while you only have 1 item or essentially no valuable risk with the intent to negatively affect another player's experience in the wilderness is against the rules and will not be tolerated, However if you recieve pkp from a kill, we do not deem the offence as 1 iteming or no valuable risk therefor the rule is not in effect.. (ex. Using a ZGS and constantly returning to a specific area or person and harassing the player.) This rule is applied to the entirety of PvP across Alora.
However, certain areas of PvP will follow specific rules. While in Edgeville and ::edgepvp, the act of griefing fights will not be allowed. (ex. Walking over players constantly or placing items such as cannons down.)

Pjing/Rushing is allowed; But if reported with sufficient evidence of being an ongoing issue and considered harassment, it will be dealt with by staff discretion.

First offenders will receive a 5-hour jail followed by a 24-hour ban, increasing to a 7-day ban, and finally, a permanent ban.

• d. X-Logging from the server will result in a 24-hour ban, then a 48-hour ban, and finally, a permanent ban, as doing this causes an unfair advantage for other members of the community.

14. World Yell

Members may use world yell to advertise clan chats & group activities. This should be done at a minimum interval of every 5 minutes for the same clan. First offenders will receive a warning, followed by 24-hour yell mute, with the ending result being a 48-hour mute.

• a. Closed Clan Chats must provide a [;;topic xxxxxx] for their sign-up page to ensure people understand how to join the clan chat & which requirements there are.

• b. Flaming, flame-baiting, false-advertisement and trolling via world yell will not be tolerated. The act of doing so will be punishable by a 12-hour yell mute, followed by a 24-hour yell mute48-hour yell mute7-day yell mute14-day yell mute and finally, a permanent yell-mute. • d. Advertising videos or content related to Alora is allowed with a yell timer of 5 minutes+, if this is below 5 minutes you will be warned at first, the second time it will result in a 24-hour yell-mute followed by a 48-hour yell-mute with the ending result being a 7-day yell-mute.

• e. AFK yelling is only allowed when it is 10+ minutes each yell, if this is below 10 minutes you'll be kicked at first with a warning upon logging inThe second offense will result in a 24-hour yell-mute with the ending result being a permanent yell-mute.

• f. Anything that can be seen as intentional spam in yell is a mutable offense. "Ree" is no longer an instant mute, however, if you are to spam yell chat with it, you will be punished. The first offense will result in a 1-hour yell-mute followed up by a 24-hour yell-mute with the ending result being a 7-day yell-mute.

• g. Alora is primarily based out of the United States and Canada. This being said, the only language that should be used on the World Yell or in the Alora CC is English. • d. Anything that can be seen as an intentional disturbance inside clan chats is a bannable offense. The first offense will result in a 1-hour ban followed up by a 24-hour ban with the ending result being a 7-day ban.

16. Invading Other Communities

17. VPN Voting

Any use of excessively changing your IP-address to vote will not be tolerated whatsoever on Alora.
