You should do some research. I'm pretty sure Keris is best DPS on Khalphite's when wearing max gear. It's just underrated.

 

 

 

Well. The Keris is barely comparable to a regular abyssal whip when used on Kalphites. This leaves various weapons being superior to the Keris, such as Abyssal Tent, Rapier, Blade of Saeldor, etc.

 

Kalphites are weak to crush, if you believe in such stats on Alora, so let us not forget Inqistors Mace even without the set, and finally the Scythe on NPC's larger than 1x3. (Spoiler Full Inq + scythe is a whole ~15 DPS)

 

Regardless of that, it would be pretty cool to see it as an option for lower attack builds and depending on how it is obtained even a good alternative for newer/lower combat players to do some Kalphites. If anything a decent looking dagger for cosmetic purposes.

I feel that is time to take another look at the slayer rewards system. 

 

These changes and additions are some of the things I would like to see added to our slayer points store and I am excited to hear your feedback and ideas. 

 

My suggested rework will contain all the old useful rewards, but with some re-balancing and removal of a few items I didn't feel belonged in the store to begin with such as the Granite Clamps, Zamorakian Spear, Torso and Amulet of the damned. A few item additions as well as adding unlocks to the slayer skill on Alora similar to how OSRS has it with task extensions, ability to unlock extreme tasks before being 111 combat and a rework of how to obtain the salve amulet.

When it comes to runecrafting on an ironman you have a few options.

 

1. Deaths are the fastest exp till you can make soul runes @ 90 RC - These have a few uses.. bursting, barrage & splashing.

2. Bloods are fair bad exp compared to anything else but are very useful if you don't have a trident and need to use mage for bossing/training

 

These next few are kind of in the middle for experience gain, however benefit you in other ways that might be worth a small RC exp sacrifice. 

3. Cosmics are used for charging orbs which you probably want to get some crafting exp later on

4. Natures and Astrals are both used to flax spinning spell to get slow but steady amount of crafting exp as well filling jugs of water for wine making

 

When it comes to obtaining and using Pure Essence I suggest stocking up in the weekdays via Zulrah, Gargoyles, Wyverns, Wyrms or even raids.

 

Then wait till its bonus exp sathurday and sunday during the weekends to gain maximum amount of experience per pure essence. 

Same thing goes for Soul Runecrafting, you can bank the Dense blocks during the weekdays and use them during bonus exp for REALLY good rc exp per hour.

Only allow people with up to a certain amount of playtime to join the group, so we can avoid people doing this to gain advantage over others, whether its for experience gain or items. Like EIM has it when finding a partner for the first time. 

 

Getting an active player will eventually benefit the group more, and hopefully add to a more enjoyable experience.
