Good morning forums users/lurkers,

 

Yesterday I reached a big milestone in my account, I thought I’d share some info on the journey to 4.6b. Whether you’re a maxed ultimate ironman looking to pump those xp numbers up or a normal, functioning member of society repulsed at the thought of Nobankmanmode, hopefully you’ll find something interesting further down below. I owe a big thanks to my friends in the community for always giving me tips and motivation along the way, much love.

 

 

 

Taking a quick look at the methods I used:

 

Attack/Strength/Defence – A good amount of this was from general slayer/bossing, but I camped Vyres pretty hard for the rest:

I wound up getting 15 blood shards in total. These melee combats were actually a lot slower than I thought, I was averaging 3m xp/hr here.  Difficulty 5/10

 

Ranged – This was my first combat 200m, doing bossing and endgame content with a blowpipe was very quick to get.  Difficulty 3/10

 

Prayer – Almost entirely from Puro-Puro. Dragon imps give large noted drops of dragon/babydragon bones:

I didn’t want to risk the large amounts of bones in wildy, but obviously it would have been faster if you have wildy protection. If you would prefer not to spend hours and hours running in circles, an alternative method would be to use ash sanctifier/bone crusher while doing slayer. Difficulty 6/10

 

Magic – I barraged a lot of slayer tasks at Catacombs, this was the easiest combat skill to get.  Now that we have more rune shops than ever, you’ll only be limited by your cash stack to replenish those runes. Difficulty 2/10

 

Runecrafting – For all the runecrafting memes, I thought this one would be a lot worse. Crafting soul runes with dense essence is more afk than other methods, although as UIM we can’t bank all of our essence to save up on a runecrafting SOTD. No pet btw. Difficulty 6/10

 

Construction – I returned to the game after incense burners were removed, so I was dreading getting supplies. However, there was an update that added big quantities of noted teak and mahogany planks to the CoX drop table. I was grinding out Raids items and easily got enough planks for 200m along the way. After you get the supplies, this is one of the fastest skills (20m+ xp/hr). No pet btw. Difficulty 5/10

 

Hitpoints – Passive skill, you’ll get it from the others. Difficulty 0/10

 

Agility – Very boring, ran in many, many circles. Difficulty 7/10

 

 

Herblore – The hardest skill, this will be the biggest obstacle for any UIM going for 4.6b. We’re unable to use Kingdom, so that rules out a nice passive way of getting tons of noted herbs. There are a lot of different ways to tackle this, but almost all of them are painful.  Because I am an idiot who doesn’t use a looting bag or Zulrah/Hespori storage (personal preference), it was almost unbearable. I used a few different methods since my inventory was changing for various goals at the time.

 

For herbs:

1. CoX/ToB for noted Dwarf Weed, Toadflax and Snapdragon.
2. Herbiboar (got most of 200m hunter here) for all kinds of herbs.
3. Callisto and Venenatis for Noted Toadflax and Snapdragon (while getting secondaries).
4. Kurasks for Irit, Kwuarm and Cadantine seeds to farm herbs (while getting secondaries).

 

And these are where I got my secondaries from:

1. Crushed Nests – Callisto, I was going for pet/log so I went here instead of Mole.
   

   

2. Red Spider Eggs – Venenatis and looting from Forthos Dungeon (8 spawns).
3. Zammy Wines – I didn’t have enough room in my inventory to save the ones from ToB, so I instead looted a couple hundred at a time from the wildy altar (4 spawns, noted).
4. White Berries/Limpwurt Roots – Kurasks, I didn’t think growing these from seeds received from farming contracts was worth it.
5. Eye of Newts – Paul

 

I didn’t bother with making Super Combats, because holding Torstols in my inventory on top of all these other supplies was just too cluttered, and it just seemed like more work than it was worth. Daily task shop sells them anyway, who needs herblore for that? Difficulty 11/10

 

Thieving – I grinded this out at the super donor stall two years ago, don’t really remember much about it other than lots of clicking while watching movies. Difficulty 5/10

 

Crafting – I used five main methods:

1. Cutting gems received from CoX and ToB.
2. Cutting gems/crafting dhide bodies from Callisto and Venenatis.
3. Glassblowing at charter shops.
4. Making amethyst dart tips from 200m mining grind for blowpipe.
5. Cutting dense essence blocks during the 200m runecrafting grind.

One of the harder skills to do, it’s not even that quick after you go through all the effort of getting the supplies (like construction). I haven’t done any Gauntlet, but I think that really would have helped speed up this skill for me. Difficulty 8/10

 

Fletching – I had tons of supplies from Puro-Puro (dragon dart tips/dragon arrowtips/etc) during the 200m prayer grind. If you save up a bunch of vote points you can always just load up on rune bars to turn into dart tips. For the rest I did amethyst darts to put in my blowpipe. Obviously when you have all the supplies, this skill is very, VERY fast in wildy (rip your wrists though). Difficulty 4/10

 

Slayer – One of the hardest skills, I saved this one for last. For almost all of the 200m grind I barraged nechryaels and dust devils in Catacombs on Konar tasks... this was about 3m xp/hr. For the last 10m xp or so, I did Zuk tasks, which give 4.4m xp per task (takes about 50 minutes with suiciding + gearing + completing the run). Picked up a cool pet the run before getting 200m:

 

I think if I did this over, I would have started Inferno tasks much, much sooner. Difficulty 9/10

 

Hunter – I used two methods, both have their pros and cons. Red chins are faster xp than Herbiboar, but not by much. It has the benefit of not needing much inventory space, but you don’t end up using the chins at all. Also, if another player is in the best spot at ::DZ, you have to go do something else or use a less optimal spot (which means less xp). Herbiboar is less click intensive and gave noted herbs (donor perk) that I needed for 200m herb. NEITHER PET(Baby Chin and Herbi)?!?   Difficulty 7/10

 

Mining – I tried to get to as many Shooting Stars as possible for the initial xp drop of finding it first. The rest was done at Amethyst.  Difficulty 4/10

 

Smithing – This skill should pretty much be renamed “Gold Smelting at Blast Furnace”. The only barrier to this 200m is getting enough gold ore. My main sources were CoX/ToB, wilderness bosses, and buying the stock from Blast Furnace shop. Buying the gold ore was especially annoying to do, because my inventory was so cluttered I had to suicide every time I wanted to buy out the entire stock of 500.  Difficulty 8/10

 

Fishing/Cooking – Afk skills that go together, not too fast and not too slow.  Difficulty 4/10

 

Woodcutting/Firemaking – These were the initial 200ms that I grinded out for monkey back in the day. Woodcutting at redwoods was a relatively quick and afk skill, the only annoyance was how often the redwood trees would be completely bugged. Firemaking was very fast, just set your home tele to Varrock, burn a line down to the Varrock bank and repeat. Difficulty 2/10

 

Farming – The huge xp drops from higher-end trees/fruit trees/Calquats make this skill easy. Seed box is a big help for UIM, as we don’t have access to the seed vault. Difficulty 3/10

What is your suggestion?: Unlimited runes/Add more stores

Is this in OSRS?: YES, they have a limit BUT can switch to 150 servers for runes which we cannot.

Has this suggestion been accepted already?: Not that i am aware off.

How would this benefit Alora?: Actually playing the game instead of sitting in front of the x2 stores ironmen can use to buy blood runes for endgame.

 

Explanation to why:  As of right now, we have x2 stores where we can buy runes (Blood runes) as ironmen/Hc/Group/Ultimate(and hopefully soon) Group HC

Where as Normal game mode have unlimited runes from one store. Once you reach the endgame and you've obtained the sang/scythe from ToB, you'll be in desperate need of blood runes, and sitting in front of the x2 stores while afking to get 2k blood runes an hour just doesn't cut it. Not for so many game modes. 

It limits the ''fun'' of obtaining the endgame weapon where you won't be able to use as you wish because its a pain to get the blood runes for it.

 

You can get unlimited blood runes in OSRS, u can't on Alora.

All this time we've been waiting on those slayer helms coming with combat achievements. And ma man decides to add them to the store as a quick money grab. Really dissapointed. Rainbow ankou looks kinda sick too but thought we were trying to stay classy and not go the custom item route (same with the monkeys wth man).

Incredibly disappointed to see the Combat Achievement helms come from a cash grab rather than something actually based on PVM skill or dedication. They're meant to be symbols of accomplishment, not something anyone with $75 or $100 can obtain.

After a whole year of waiting… It’s finally here! Christmas time has arrived and everyone in Gielinor is celebrating! The streets of Varrock, Falador, Ardougne and all the other cities and settlements are filled with the most bright and colorful lights, children decorate their Christmas tree, pull christmas crackers with their friends and hang socks on their chimney, the streets are filled with joy, the celebrations are endless and everyone waits dearly for Christmas Eve!

But, without their knowledge or even the least suspicion… trouble is brewing!

 

In a land far, far away of the northern wilderness, where not even the bravest PK’ers dare to set foot, a tragedy is about to take place! Tired of being slaughtered day after day, all year long, and especially during the ICExAM Bingo Event, the bosses of Gielinor got together and prepared a revolution - a plan to ruin Christmas! Knowing that they would fall prey to the mighty whips and swords of brave warriors, so their loot could be gifted as christmas presents, the bosses got together and stormed Santa Claus’ village, defeating every Elf Warrior in sight and, worst of all, stealing every single Christmas present!

With all your endless adventures and with all the time passed slaying the most evil and dangerous creatures and roaming the most obscure and eerie places you will certainly be key to this puzzle - the star on top of the tree! Your duty is to pay back these mischievous bosses, one by one, and make sure that you retrieve every single one of the stolen presents so that you can save Christmas! Every man, woman and child is counting on you! Especially Santa Claus, who will reward you quite handsomely and be forever in your debt should you help him through this!

So basically what happend was for this couple years I haven't played Alora AT ALLLLLL I was playing other private servers and w.e I was feeling because my friends that played Alora at the time left so I kinda lost motivation,

few days ago I started playing again because a friend of mine told me would be quite fun to play ironman with me (we started as gim but xp rates way to low for us so we changed to reg im) and we played normally,

found out eventually that the account I used to play on as a main got banned, and ofc I was confused because I never did anything harmful to anyone or rwted or w.e you may have to do to get banned.

So I applied to get the account back and whatever and got denied and I accepted it because well I wasn't going to play on it anyways was just more to get it back in general.

1 or 2 days have passed and when I was playing (yesterday) I suddently logged out and found out that not only the ironman I was playing on, but both my normie and classic accounts got banned, ofc I was shocked because

I did nothing harmful to anyone in this game EVER so ofc I applied to get my accounts back.

Not only got ignored for almost 24h until Classic replied to my messages, I got the application denied and told me I was hacking players few months ago when I wasn't even thinking about playing Alora again!

And all this without showing any proof that I did hack someone or tracking my logs or ips or whatever staff team manage to find out that kinda of stuff.

 

Now what I want to mean by all this is that, probably there has been people like me in similar situations like this that they didn't do nothing like me (I don't know shit about coding or anything that's why I was even more perplexed XD)

and ofc me and those people can't do anything about it because the staff team not only ignored me, they didn't put any effort into looking in my perspective to see if I actually did something or not!

I know that I didn't do anything wrong because as I said I don't even know shit about coding/programing or stuff like that I just game '-' .

 

Most likely even if the accounts got recovered I wouldn't play just from how bad I was treated when im innocent.

Hello, and welcome to my Gauntlet guide!

 

Introduction

 

What is Gauntlet?

 

The Gauntlet is a solo minigame in Prifddinas in which the player is given a limited amount of time to explore a randomly generated dungeon layout, gather various resources and supplies by skilling and defeating crystalline monsters, all in preparation to defeat the Crystalline Hunllef.

 

The goal is to gather as much resources and as great weapons as possible in certain time-span (Regular: 10 minutes & Corrupted: 7,5 minutes) before taking on the Hunllef.

 

How to access it?

 

Halberd -> Best damage/Lowest safety as you have to move closer to the boss.

Bow -> Good damage / Good safety as you cannot snipe across the room.

Staff -> Inconsistent damage / Best safety as you can attack with staff from anywhere inside the room.

Catch 8x Raw paddlefish

Mine 3x Corrupted ore

Chop 3x Phren bark

Pick 3x Tinum lirinium

Pick 2x Grym leaf

Use 2x crystal shards on a pestle of mortar in order to make 20x Corrupted dust

 

After all of the gathering and killing, your inventory should look like this:

 

 

1x Helmet

1x Platebody

1x Legs

2x Tier 3 Weapons

2x Vials

Fill 2 vials

Use 2x Grym leaf on vials

Cook all the fishes

Use corrupted dust on unfinished potions

 

 

Now you should be ready for the boss fight!

 

 

1000 - 750 HP = 1 tornado

750 - 300HP = 2 tornadoes

300HP and below = 3 tornadoes

 

You can run through those tornadoes, but not stand inside them, as they consistently do 20+ damage you CAN NOT protect for!

 

 

Floor tiles:

 

Some of the floor tiles can turn blue and into orange after 3 seconds they've turned blue. Avoid those tiles whilst they are orange, as they can do 20+ damage to you.

 

 

You can ban us or you can mute us but you still can't KILL US LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL. 

TY for 10b+ in a week make sure to hit those ;;raids so you can keep filling our banks

I'm glad to announce that since our previous thread marking our return, things have shifted dramatically.

After releasing it we sat and watched the fireworks that resulted from forcing our competition out of the wilderness, even going as far to watch them congregate in voice chat immediately after and attempt to rationalize what had just happened to them.



Paragon discord has been VERY quiet since learning the news that they are absolutely INFESTED with spies, more and more members of theirs realizing the sinking ship they're apart of and attempting to save themselves via spying. Internally, they’ve been attempting to quell their members fear, trying to brainwash them that we would be leaving August 25th due to the re-release of Deadman Mode on 07!



We’d like to formally announce, regardless of what Lieutenant ‘gim crohn’ has attempted people into believing: We will be staying, this onslaught will NOT be stopping for the foreseeable future!
 

Paragon leadership has been HARD at work though MAC muting our members for scathing insults such as “Donkey” and “Victim”, filling up their VERY active NSFW channel, and hosting PvP events that we took EVERY prize from.



We’ve even caught them out in multi a few times, attempting to regain control over the wilderness that was once theirs. The results went as anyone would expect!





Wait… while writing this we’ve JUST now noticed something.

Accidentally killing their OWN members! Maybe they took THIS time as an opportunity to spy hunt! Odd strategy but alright!



We’re going to do this in sections. Our kills on Paragon since our previous thread, a few cheeky kills we picked up on randoms, our exhibit on the namechanging creature known as Brad Jr/xPUNISHERx/Oregon Rs, and one of the biggest kills in recent Alora history we’ve been saving to announce for this thread.























Really not a great two weeks for them!

After slaying him for multiple max sets, he has decided to shed his identity using the power of a name change scroll!
We don't think he's found out about the ::profile feature yet, let's not tell him!

Now we'd like to present something VERY special: one of the biggest kills in Alora's recent history.
We found this wandering the wilderness, obtained his loot, and managed to sell the entire set for a cool 9b!

We don’t know what’s next in store for us regarding Paragon, but we have NO doubts that if there isn’t loot due to them hiding, atleast we will be entertained from our internal surveillance!
