Personally i only did extreme tasks and never skipped them. If i got a boss that wasn't instanced than i would pay the 4m or whatever for the private room to get the 35 kills done and then move on. I never really made a whole lot of money from slayer because most of the rare drops aren't even worth that much compared to the price of most of the top tier items you get from raiding etc, so selling the imbue scroll once i got enough points would just pay me back a lot of the money i spent on the private instances. Definitely disappointed that they did away with the old extreme task system.
