Aftermath CC is an all game-modes clan that doesn't take themselves, or this game too seriously. We're here to have some fun, and not to treat this game like an Olympic sport, now if this sounds like you please feel free to apply to Alora's most popular non-helpcc at the following: Aftermath - PvM/Skilling - All Game Modes - Clan Recruitment - Alora RSPS | Oldschool MMORPG
Although we do have requirements to become full members, we also have a trial rank that allows you 30 days to not only complete the requirements but also to get vibe checked by the homies. Without further rambling I bring to you Alora's Finest: Aftermath.
This month we have a few changes to the Higher-Ups and are excited for what the future has to bring.
Promotions:
We congratulate @saeed for his promotion to the Gold Star Gang.
Additions:
We welcome back @St8 as Captain from his brief hiatus to touch grass and lift weights.
Resignations:
None - Congrats guys.
ANNOUNCEMENTS:
We have officially met with @
We here at Aftermath will be recognizing 3 of our most important members every month with honorable awards that they can wear with pride.
Now we aren't stingy with our awards and accolades and will be recognizing 1 non-cc member every single month for their contributions to not only making Aftermath great but also Alora great!
@redcar aka Dedcar has a long history of donating HUGE amounts to Aftermath even when he was among our ranks. Unfortunately he's not as quick with his logout in the wilderness as he is while gambling clan members.
Listen Up, we're more than just our sense of humor. Behind the jokes and the banter we're some of the most dedicated and impressive gamers Alora has to offer. We may be humble but we are not to be mistaken for chumps. Lets take a few minutes to appreciate some achievements made by AFM members!
I'd like to start this section off by stating something we all are thinking: what the ACTUAL fuck @Omicron how is this possible.
Unfortunately somehow we LOST pictures of shadow drops from @
The Spooning Don't Stop There!
I'm glad you've made it this far. Unfortunately not all players in Alora that witness Aftermath's greatness live as long as you, many perish at the hands of our beloved demons in the wilderness. Unfortunately PARAGONE has been MIA apart from @
Somehow our PvMers turned NH Cosplayers have claimed many sets recently, although we don't claim to be a PvP focused clan we aren't afraid of throwing ourselves in the ring. Our impeccable teamwork, and team morale that's higher than @Moe and @it_happened on a weekend make us a formidable threat to all in Alora's Wilderness.
We wanna give an honorable mention to the Wannabe Disney star, former AFM members, and "PKers" who lose their streaks to HCIM: Alora may not be 1:1 with osrs but we can still turn your bones to peaches in our hearts.
Now, if you're a little angry or upset by this point I'd like to remind you that this is just a ripoff of a 00's clicker game and none of this is serious. We'd like to conclude this volume with some funny moments from behind the scenes from this month. In the end, this game would suck ass if it wasn't for the people in it and the fun we have together.

AFTERMATH HISTORY LESSONS
Congratulations for making it all the way though this post. We're going to end these newsletters with some history lessons on major Aftermath events, people, misfortunates, etc.
Today we're going to learn about the infamous
Super Restore Fiasco of 2023
Legal Disclaimer:
We do NOT Support bug abuse, any members who get punished for bug abuse and do not get approved an appeal were rightfully punished and we do not encourage similar behavior. This is purely for the memes.
In late 2022/early 2023 Alora's amazing development team implemented one of the most beloved changes in history; They made super restores heal almost 50HP in addition to their regular effects. It wasn't long before players (and staff) began to take note, a new meta was forming for ALL content in the game. Anglers and manta rays were left in the bank and players across all our 1 world began using super restores instead; especially prominent AFM members.
After this became known to staff conflicting reports came out about what you were, and weren't allowed to do. You couldn't use them, you could only use them bursting, you could only have a maximum of 3 in your inventory, the rules kept coming and so did the seemingly arbitrary punishments.
Unfortunately Aftermath is not known for a reserved nature, and instead some of our prominent members took it upon themselves to "bug test" the super restores to explore the details of this new Alora "feature" to determine how best to file bug reports and help our development team out. Unfortunately the staff didn't see this the way many of us did; and swiftly handed out jails and punishments to the many members accused of "abusing" this new feature.
Here are some of the greatest moments from this time:

No, support. All this is based on a miniscule sample of 228, forgot to account rng is a thing. The rates seem off and not "1:1" to osrs because Omi has generously granted us a drop boost on weps and armor. So if you really want a 1:1 feel the first thing you should be suggesting it to remove any drop boosts entirely.
I don't even know where to start with this one, but only reason I'm using regular ToB rates from OSRS is that they haven't released HM rates there. They said that Avernic droprates have been reduced and drop rates for weapons and armour have been increased, it's not just an Alora thing. For the rest that you are trying to say, I won't even comment because it's not related to the topic whatsoever.

I can make this change, but I should clarify that hard mode drop rates are already enhanced over the normal ToB, so removing these items from the rare loot table won't make the loot you're looking for (eg. Justiciar, Scythe, etc) any more common. It will only make the Avernic hilt more common. Nonetheless, I'll make the change so that they're separate, and this will also give the chance of obtaining the ornament kits and an item off of the rare loot table simultaneously.
For a quick explanation, you roll between 1-19 when you hit the rare loot table. On regular mode, rolling between 1-11 gives good loot (eg. Justiciar, scythe, etc), and anywhere between 12-19 gives the Avernic hilt.
On hard mode, the hilt is supposed to be less common, and the good loot is slightly more common. To do this, we made rolling 1-14 give good loot (27% better chance than regular ToB), and rolls between 15-17 were the ornament kits, and finally 17-19 was the Avernic hilt. Once I make this change, it will make rolling between 15-19 the Avernic hilt. Hope that clarifies what this change would mean for you, it will only be more hilts and more ornament kits entering the game, but not more Scythes/Rapiers/Justiciar gear.

What is your suggestion?:
I believe that Realism Player should have the option do change to classic, as it feels like the natural option if they don't want to play the gamemode anymore.
Is this in OSRS?:
N/A
Has this suggestion been accepted already?:
Highly doubt it
How would this benefit Alora?:
It would make people play on the account they love without being crippled with difficulties they absolutely didn't sign up for.
As it currently stands, Realism is nothing more than a bigger GIM gamemode, with the other 90% of players killing revenants.
The economy is ABSOLUTELY DESTROYED. Theres barely any endgame items circulating, and supplies cost fortunes. Some of the players that have ludicrous amounts of GP simply use it to swap, or try to.
I respect this grind a lot, and the difficulties only small amounts of players managed to overcome, but when I personally picked this gamemode I didn't sign up for GIM with very low XP rates. The challenge in the gamemode was the XP rate, not trading for items. I don't find it a challenge to pay 80-100K for a super restore, while not being able to sell me PvM drop, unless I accept votebooks/boosters.
My Suggestion is to have an option for whoever wants, to change to the classic gamemode. The economy will only become worse, so a bit of a hot take would be that it is time to merge the economies. That would be disrespectfull for any legends that managed have insanely good accounts on the respective gamemode, so for now I would be very happy with the option to remain on a low XP rate gamemode, where I don't have to get absolutelly robbed if I want to buy something, and look at my PvM drops die out in the trading post.
To sum it up, I signed up to grind it out on a very challenging XP rate, not a Very challenging trading post. I have been through this with classic already, and I didn't sign up for that either.
A small example, not the best but you get the point:
^ In no way shape or form did a realism player sign up to get extorted for every item, or to have no endgame items availiable to buy/sell.
Much love and thank you for reading it.
