While writing this. I'm literally shaking a little bit. Because I'm scared to say my opinion.
Fear to be silenced, or worse, be banned just because I want to voice my opinion.

Last week we made a positive step as a community. We came together and let our voices be heard, until today.
We got spat in our faces, our voices meant nothing. We just got shushed for a short period. But we will not stay silenced. Here is my feedback post.

In-game Rules

1. Flaming, Disrespect, Harassment, and Inappropriate Content

Within Alora, we seat a culturally diverse community. Communities contain different races, beliefs, ethics, sexual orientations, etc. It is vital that we preserve and protect each culture and that we ensure equality throughout Alora as a whole. The denigration or defamation of a member will not be tolerated. First offenders will receive a 24-hour mute, followed by a 48-hour mute, increasing to a 7-day mute, a 14-day mute, and finally, a permanent mute.

 
When you visit the Alora rules, this is the very first thing you see.
They speak of a culturally diverse community. Containing different races, beliefs, ethics and sexual orientation.
It says it is vital to preserve and protect each culture. Ensure equality throughout Alora. But in reality, it does not reflect this in-game.

The rules of Alora exist to maintain order and protect the server and its player. It defines who and what we are.
We must abide by them and staff should uphold them. If this is not the case, that's laughable / unprofessional.
 
Then the newly added filter. What value does it have, if it is obvious what is said.
Example: "Are you okay my nigga?"
Result: "Are you okay my *****?"
 
You could instead utilize the anti-advertising filter.
Example: "I can't wait to come home and play Runescape."
Result: 
 
Just because you believe something is not offensive or because it's not offensive in your country, does not mean it should be allowed.

We should stand together against this, so I hope my fellow Alorians will let their voices be heard yet again.

Shouldn't be up for debate, it's racism plain and simple. Just because the R is missing, doesn't make it less racist or insulting. Call a person of color either one and you'll see there is NO difference. Zph loves that word like nothing else, and I guarantee you he would never say it to any person of color's face. Racism has no place in video games or the world, it's 2020. Grow the hell up.

EDIT: If we can mute people over the word "retard" then "nigga" shouldn't be up for discussion. Clearly.

I would love to remove demeaning words related to people who have mental disabilities. I hate when morons use the "R" word in exchange for stupid things. Maybe Ill make my own post about that.

Dunno how this is even a debated topic lmao. Anywhere else you go these are seen as terms derived from extreme hate and racial connotations because its obvious. I'm sorry but if you disagree you're 99% a closet racist who's fuming because you can't keep your racist personality. How do you expect a server to grow at all when the n-word is yelled every 3 seconds. I can't believe this has actually came this far lmaoooo

I agree that this shit shouldn't be allowed, you can't use gay slurs already and for good reason so why not extend the same courtesy against those that are racist. I really shouldn't have to keep adding people to my ignore list everytime they make a new account to be racist on.

Ban the n word , of all variants off alora , adding a filter to hide this isnt solving the issue , its just hiding it , this will also benefit alora yell due to the amount of yells regarding racism

No, it's allowed to use words like nigger, nigga, etc

it's allowed by staff

Also can't use them in your name.

How would this benefit Alora?:

Racism free game. Also stops all of the discussions in game and has no reason at all to be used in Alora.

As the title says, a global announcement alongside your final item received to let everyone know you completed the collection log. Normal/Iron man alike.

To clarify, this is specifically for each BOSS or mini game (not as a whole collection log), so if you get the last item from bandos including pet it will announce u finished bandos... etc...

For Example:

Hc Ashley received 1 x Twisted Bow from Chamber of Xerics (#5821)

Hc Ashley Completed Chamber of Xerics Collection log (#5821)
