Support. I understand you can use buckets of water in the mean time, but the additional XP you are lacking from not using Goldsmith gauntlets is too much to overlook. You essentially have to wait to train efficiently.

What is your suggestion?: I suggest a few changes in the Gauntlet to bring it more inline with OSRS and make it less frustrating while prepping.

 

-Allow Demi-bosses to spawn in 6 of the 12 outer rooms. The rooms in the outer area are the rooms non-adjacent to the corner rooms. (Straight from OSRS wiki.)

 

-As it stands, you could end up with 3 dragon spawns and no other demi-boss, so I would like to make it so that if you kill a duplicate demi-boss, it will have a guaranteed chance to drop a different weapon component, provided you don't already have one. So if I kill two dragons, the second should have a 50% chance to drop either a bowstring or a spike. 

 

-I may be biased on this, but according to the hotfixes implemented on 08-17-2019, weapon frames were said to be more common but I still think it could be dropped more frequently. In OSRS, it is the third weak monster you kill that guarantees a frame, strong monsters guarantee a frame if you haven't received one already, as well as demi-bosses guarantee one as well. 

 

-If not too much of a nightmare, allow us to utilize the 5:1 method. For example, I can attack 5 times with range then kick the boss and he will pray melee. And I can repeat this process for the entire fight.

 

 

 

Is this in OSRS?: Yes. 

 

 

Has this suggestion been accepted already?: No.

 

 

 

How would this benefit Alora?: It would not only help those who currently grind the Gauntlet, but may persuade those that are inexperienced to start enjoying this content and make it less frustrating to learn. I understand that some of this may not be possible, or there may not be enough dev time but I just simply want to shed light on some of the issues I face when doing some runs. Thank you for taking the time to read, and I welcome any additional suggestions, or changes to what I proposed.

Very informative, thank you. Would be curious how deaths affect drop rate but I'm sure he doesn't want to disclose too much.

Congrats brother, well deserved!

If your reasoning is to make it how it should be, then nerf the drops as well. Revs are meant to be high risk, high reward. But if it were to become single based off of OSRS, only makes sense to follow suit with making it less rewarding.

As for DMM, I'm neutral. Not my cup of tea but I can definitely see the appeal.

What a grind. Glad it is over. 

 

 

Support. I think it would be a great addition and spice up the PvM community.
