I understand back in October 2020, @
Along with my own train of thought i did my best asking around other community members on their opinions on how we can approach the reduction of price for plank making, but before i get into that i want to talk about why i think it so high in the first place.
With everybody besides EIM/GIM/Realism having a increased gold earning on Alora it is very easy to accumulate vast amounts of gold and to equal how much gold we gain as a individual and how much things cost things had to be evened out to accommodate for this amount of "cash flow". I understand the other reason why its so high to create this other forms of "money sink" to take gp out of the community to not break to the eco(im not very knowledgeable but this is the best way i look at it correct me if im wrong).
From speaking to the community we gathered 3 directions we can take:
*In regards to ironmen game modes the gp that gets collected most of the time does not enter the "normie" trading circle and is typically used for own gain like buying runes/making potions etc.. So for any iron that needs to make planks they shouldn't take a big hit to their bank that's meant to help keep the "eco control" for trading and overall server economy
Personally, i think this will greatly benefit accounts who are trying to train construction especially ironmen who have to majority of the time make the planks themselves. Please take the time to take this into consideration i do think this is a good step forward and by even mentioning 70% 50% and other amount of reduction we came to the conclusion as a proper median the 30% reduced from all game modes not effected so far is a fair amount for not just the 3 game modes, but all irons even normies if suggestion 1 and 3 are considered.

Recently we have been hearing alot of complaints about the Theatre of Blood drop rate and today I have for you a thread showcasing the Theatre of Blood drop rates for Legendary and Uber donator ranks consisting of roughly 60,000 raids (10,000 x 6) for those ranks in 3 man team/5 man team and with the 15% drop booster you can purchase from the store here https://www.alora.io/store/.
Firstly, the most recent ToB drop rate buff happened in September of 2020 which goes as followed
Omicron himself ran these trials to show the drop rates below
Theatre of Blood Simulation:
Legendary Donator:
Trial 1 (5 Man Team 0 Deaths)
Number of raids: 10,000
Number of Purples in this player's name: 202
Team size: 5
Deaths: 0
Chance to get a purple = 2.02%
Chance for any team member to get a purple (assuming all legendary) = 10.1%
Trial 2 ( 3 Man Team 0 Deaths)
Number of raids: 10,000
Number of Purples in this player's name: 335
Team size: 3
Deaths: 0
Chance to get a purple = 3.35%
Chance for any team member to get a purple (assuming all legendary) = 10.05%
Trial 3 ( Drop Booster Activated 5 Man Team 0 Deaths)
Number of raids: 10,000
Number of purples in this player's name: 263
Team size: 5
Deaths: 0
Chance to get a purple = 2.63%
Using drop booster? True
Chance for any team member to get a purple (assuming similar conditions): 13.15%
Uber Donator:
Trial 1 ( 5 Man Team 0 Deaths)
Number of raids: 10,000
Number of Purples in this player's name: 236
Team size: 5
Deaths: 0
Chance to get a purple = 2.36%
Chance for any team member to get a purple (assuming all Uber) = 11.8%
Trial 2: ( 3 Man Team 0 Deaths)
Number of raids: 10,000
Number of Purples in this player's name: 355
Team size: 3
Deaths: 0
Chance to get a purple = 3.55%
Chance for any team member to get a purple (assuming all legendary) = 10.65%
Trial 3: ( Drop Booster Activated 5 Man Team 0 Deaths)
Number of raids: 10,000
Number of purples in this player's name: 292
Team size: 5
Deaths: 0
Chance to get a purple = 2.92%
Using drop booster? True
Chance for any team member to get a purple (assuming similar conditions): 14.6%
The drop boosters on Uber Donator give a additional 23% Drops while doing Theatre of Blood through out the total 10,000 raids and as a Legendary Donator you can see a potential 30% increase in drops from 10,000 raids. With that being said drop boosters only give a 15% increase so in certain scenarios there is a higher drop rate potential.
At the end of the day these simulations were RNG based just like we are RNG based in game and there is still the potential for you to be Above and Below the drop rates of Theatre of Blood.
Thanks for reading and we here at Alora.io are looking forward to seeing your feedback.

I don't mind disclosing this information, essentially deaths reduce your chance to get a rare drop by the following amount:Very informative, thank you. Would be curious how deaths affect drop rate but I'm sure he doesn't want to disclose too much.

Wait you mean to tell me it's coded right, but people have bad RNG sometimes? Surprise!
