I would like to start by thanking the Ice team for letting me progress this far within the clan, its been great to get to know everyone along the way and I look forward for whats to come. I am currently applying for Sergeant rank as I feel I have performed the duties of Corporal the best I could; I am active in game, (currently sitting at 40 days + playing time and top 35 on classic leaderboards), happy to help with any new players, and keen to progress myself, within the clan and game. 

 

I've been playing Alora for roughly 100 days now and in Ice for about 80 of them, I would now like to help the clan progress within the game by taking on more responsibility and push towards a staff rank in the new year.  I am aware that I have been less active in clan chat as of recent, but I'll make sure to make an active effort in contributing and doing my part going forward. I would like to say I do chat with a lot of Ice recruits and smileys over PM, and not in chat, which contributes to me being less active within cc. I try to help out as much as possible and newer players seem more comfortable asking "newby' questions in private rather than over the clan chat. 

 

I had a great time competing in the bingo event recently, and I'm sure the Santas little helper event is going to be just as fun!

I feel I am deserving of this rankI feel I am able to perform the duties that are expected. I am active in game (nearly 32 days in game time over the last few months) at a varied range of times due to my current situation of being a student. Since being made recruit I think I've been active in the clan chat with regards to helping people and being informative as well as following the rules and being a positive member of the clan. Since my last application my knowledge on Alora has grown, I've maxed my Classic account, made friends and provided an active contribution towards the clan. 

 

I've applied earlier than advised for two reasons; 

 

1. I am currently very dry during the Bingo event and am taking a break from not getting drops. Needed a break.

 

2. I applied for Recruit fairly late, I was in Ice for over or about a month before applying. I wasn't going to as I didn't think I'd stick around after I got bored but the people and community around the clan has kept me intrigued to progress and carry on grinding. Due to this I would like to apply for a staff rank (not now but eventually). I enjoy the events that the staff put on and would like to be involved in setting some up and/or help host them down the line, because of that I'd like to start the process of arriving there sooner rather than later.

Write articles , (My irl friend als has had his own runescape private server where i were admn , my duties there was to find bugs and inform developerrs about it (irl friends server had somewhat 50 players) also i resigned from irl friends server admin position into player moderator rank and duties was to help players/answer on yell on questions and look thst everyone behaves and doesnt break rules. I have also been many times middleman ranked normal player on other rsps , job was to middleman high gambles (flower poker , blackjack eq..)

Overview and about me

I have been in ICE for a while now, pretty much since I joined Alora about two months ago and I'm not particularly interested in joining any other clans. Outside of Alora and the internet I am a 3rd year BA university student studying Business and Economics, my name is Danny and I am 21 years old. ICE looks at three qualities when deciding whether someone deserves a rank/rank-up; advertising, behaviour and cc/discord activity. 

 

Recruiting/advertising - Even though I am not currently ranked and have no obligation to, I regularly inform players of Ice, it's qualities and why they should join. 

 

Behaviour - I am always happy to help, I regularly receive messages from newer players asking for help after seeing my handle in ::yell chat. In Ice chat I am no different, if I know an answer I'll be quick to respond to anyone in need of advise. 

 

Activity - My playtime on Alora is currently just over 23 days, and during that IGT I'd like to think I've helped a few players. I am also interested in competing in clan events. If I progress within the ranks it would motivate me to push even further within the community. My activity on Discord isn't the greatest due to the fact that I've never used it outside of RSPS, and ive never needed to be active on it

Why would you like to work with us? - The clan has made me grow a lot both as a player and as a person. I've learned a lot, met a lot of people, made good friendships that keep me company almost every day and I feel like it's finally time that I give back to everyone. That is why I am applying to work with ICE so I can commit to responsibilities regarding the clan and help maintain the friendly and helpful environment that I cherish so much.
