What is your suggestion?:
I’d like to suggest a QoL rework to the Super Donator thieving stall that gives jugs of wine.
Current Issue
Right now, obtaining wines requires repeated spam clicking for every individual jug. Mechanically, this creates a very repetitive interaction with no meaningful gameplay depth beyond maintaining click frequency.
The current design unintentionally encourages players to:
- spam click excessively
- use mouse macros/autoclickers
- or use browser/input recording tools to reduce repetitive strain
Even though automation is against the rules, the activity itself is one of the few remaining interactions in Alora that still heavily incentivizes repetitive single-click behavior for long periods of time.
Suggested Change
Instead of receiving:
- 1 jug of wine per click
change the stall so that:
- 1 click fills the player’s inventory with wines automatically
However:
- the total time taken should remain identical to manually spam clicking
- GP rates should remain identical
- XP gain should remain identical
- and overall efficiency should stay exactly the same as current rates
This would be purely a QoL modernization, not a buff.
For example:
- clicking the stall could initiate a short action cycle that fills the inventory over the same duration it currently takes through spam clicking
- similar to how other skilling interactions already work throughout the server
Is this in OSRS?:
no.
Has this suggestion been accepted already?:
no.
How would this benefit Alora?:
Alora already has many systems where a single interaction processes an entire inventory or extended skilling sequence automatically.
Examples include:
- smithing large batches
- firemaking with bonfires
- fletching
- crafting
- cooking
- woodcutting until inventory full
- fishing until inventory full
- cannonball production
- and other AFK/QoL skilling systems
In these cases, players are not expected to click once per individual resource because the gameplay value comes from the activity itself, not mechanical click repetition.
The wine stall currently feels inconsistent with the direction most modernized skilling systems already follow.
Macro Prevention / Rule Enforcement Benefit:
I also think this would genuinely reduce macro temptation in one of the most repetitive donor-zone activities.
When a system requires hundreds or thousands of identical rapid clicks with no gameplay variation, some players inevitably look for ways to automate the input itself rather than gain unfair rates.
By converting the stall into a single-interaction inventory action:
- staff would likely see fewer macro cases tied specifically to this activity
- legitimate players would have a better QoL experience
- and moderation effort could be reduced in this area
Importantly, this would not increase rewards or progression speed whatsoever — only reduce unnecessary repetitive clicking.
Donator Incentive:
Since this is a Super Donator-exclusive feature already, improving the interaction could also strengthen the perceived value of the rank without impacting overall server balance.
It would:
- make the zone feel more polished
- modernize an older interaction
- and provide a meaningful convenience perk rather than raw economic power
Because rates would remain unchanged, this stays within Alora’s usual philosophy of donor QoL over donor pay-to-win advantages.
Final Thoughts:
This suggestion is not intended to buff GP or XP rates at all.
The goal is simply to:
- modernize an outdated spam-click interaction
- align it with other inventory-based skilling systems already present on Alora
- reduce incentives for repetitive input automation
- and improve overall donor-zone QoL
