Hello everyone, and welcome to another edition of The Alora Times! From here on out, myself and A will be handling the newspaper.

Memento Mori has been promoted to Forum Moderator.

Shazadeh has been promoted to Server Moderator.

Don Fiji has returned to the Staff Team as Server Moderator.

JimmyHC has been promoted to Server Support.

This month we will be interviewing 2 of our new Server Supports: J oshh and Amica

 

 

Let's start off with J oshh... 

 

Lowkey: Can you tell us about yourself? What hobbies do you enjoy? What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

J oshh: Hi, my name is Josh. Friends and family call me Hanky, have ever since i could remember. I'm a football and basketball fan. For football I've always been an Indianapolis Colts fan(I live in Indiana). Basketball, I have a few fav teams, but ever since I was little its been Pheonix Suns. HUGE Steve Nash fan. Currently with my free time I spend most of it on Alora. Otherwise I spend it with my family. My fiancee and I have been together for going on 3 years now. She has a 3 year old, the typical deadbeat dad situation. Naturally I had no issue taking over that figure and being a positive male figure in his life. I also have a dog that loves to go on walks and play fetch.

Lowkey: What do you like most about Alora?

J oshh: I feel like this kinda goes hand in hand with #3 (for some reason I answered this out of order) I love the staff involvement. Compared to other servers I've worked with/for Alora is by far the more organized with ranks and rank responsibilities. It was kinda intimidating at first when I was promoted and saw all the things Server Supports were resonsible for. I'm use to this role being like a temporary role to see if they could make it on the team. On Alora we're like the first line of defense when it comes to stuff. Knowing my past, the biggest thing about Alora that I adore is Omicrons involvement with the community. I've been on and worked with a handful of servers where the owner seemingly didn't give 2 shits about what the community wanted and only cared about making money. So far I haven't had any issues with lack of content or things to do on Alora, with plenty more to come

 

Lowkey: Is there a memory on Alora that you will never forget about?

J oshh: I'm not sure if this classifies as a memory, but the day I was promoted to SS and got all the invites to the channels and whatnot. I felt like I was gonna fit in just fine here with everyone else on the staff team.

 

Lowkey: Do you like pineapple on your pizza?

J oshh: Uh yes? I know some people view it as a cardinal sin, but I LOVE Hawaiian pizza. The real question is, barbecue sauce or pizza sauce.

 

Lowkey: What are your thoughts on bald people?

J oshh: If you really think about it, under every head of hair, is a bald person. My father had a receding hairline, so it's only a matter of time before my thick ass head of hair thins.

 

Next up, Amica!

 

Lowkey: Can you tell us about yourself? What hobbies do you enjoy? What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

Amica: I'm 29 and live in the UK, got 2 kids (4 years old and 4 months old) which always keeps me on my toes between working and trying to find my own downtime to relax. The main 2 hobbies I've always had is football and gaming, tried the gym thing a few times but I prefer chilling out with a few beers and playing some Alora or Xbox. The only proper free time I get is at the weekends which in our house is always family time, taking the kids out etc. Occasionally get the odd night off to spend with the boys.

 

Lowkey: What's your favorite activity to do on Alora?

Amica: 100% PvM, mixing it up between Slayer and doing raids.

 

Lowkey: If you could change 1 thing about Alora, what would it be and why?

Amica: Instanced puro puro has always been on my fantasy list since I started playing the server and trying to grind some ranger boots. Now days it's more about those dragon imps for those arrows.

 

Lowkey: Would you rather have no nose, or no arms?

Amica: Easy question when you have a 4 month old, no nose.

 

Lowkey: When wiping with toilet paper, are you an over or under kind of guy?

Amica: Front to back and I'll argue at length with anyone that does it any other way.
