What is your suggestion?:

Revert the run energy update.

• Run Energy Changes:
  • Run energy has been changed to effect drain more when a player’s weight is higher.
    • This will make the graceful outfit, or any weight reducing outfits actually have a use.
      • The max weight is capped at 64 kg, and any higher weight will not effect drain.

 

How would this benefit Alora?:

Not much to say really, this run energy change has been met with criticism from pretty much everyone I've spoken to and it has made content less enjoyable for me so I've decided to make this thread. Vote in the poll above, thanks.

Personally i'm not a fan of the energy update so im full support for reverting it.

I do like the thought behind adding the run energy changes. It makes graceful useful, it gives it the OSRS feel, it makes it a bit of a challenge. However, I've been doing a bunch of questing on OSRS since maxing my Realism and it made me realize how big of a QoL the run energy in Alora was, even with the "rest" option. Another downside is that with the shit run energy on OSRS at least I can buy stam pots for cheap and stay stammed, but in Alora it'll be hard to do that long term since that requires people to make the pots (unless you're ironman and make it yourself anyway), and I'd rather not do herb runs and agility post 200m to make my own stam pots as a normie.

 

Tl;dr I support reverting the run energy changes.

Support! If the goal was to make the graceful more useful then buff graceful, don't nerf energy. Havent raided much cause of the melee bug, but as far as i understood any content involves moving around now basically requires stam pots.

Big support nobody asked for this and I feel like this has a negative effect on peoples enjoyment same goes for aggro changes. Stuff like this should be polled.

Agree to revert, feel like if it had been done earlier in Alora's life it'd be an easier change to stomach, but at present safe to say we're all used to running marathons.
