Amm, the reason why pots are so expesive, its because

 

1. It needs lvl herblore.

2. It need weed that its not that easy to get, for that u do slayer or master farmer for seeds.

3. It needs ingr, for prayer its easy only snap for other pots a bit harder.

4. Most peaple don't sell pots they keep it for themselfs, so that why pots are above 50k.

5. I want you guys to make a POLL, on how many player would join realism if these change were made, and if they do join will they stay for max or monkey, or leave in couple weeks / dayes / hours. 

 

So before posting adding something to shop or anything else, i want YOU to ask yourself. 

 

WIll u play realism if these change will be implemed ingame and other more, and how LONG will u stay.

Potion prices are a bit outrageous, I fully support and hope to see this implemented in the game for any new realists or already existing.

Big support, realism is next account i was looking to play alongside the EIM but from what i heard about this issue it did put me off, if this was implemented id be more inclined to start one up and play it

no support,  as @ HoldinAP said, one of the reason potions are expensives is because player save them for themself.

 

you are welcome to make some potions yourself and sell cheaper at anytime, also it doesnt mean that something listed for exemple at (50k) is actually selling, what if all the cheapers potions been sold already ?

i see prayer pots going from 91 gp to 75k in the history. nobody forcing you to buy/sell


also, its very funny to see so many support from player who never played realism/ doesnt play anymore.yall want to make a gamemode that is working already good easier  ( btw we aint the ones that need an item consumer because the eco is probably better than normies one ) and then its gonna be some other crying about xp rates or stuff like this.

we all know how realism work and we like it how it is. if you dont like it and you want to be able to buy everything super easy, make sure to choose easier game modes : normie, classic

Anyhow - iirc the whole idea behind realism was to provide a game mode that’s challenges through lower exp rates.
As realism stands, excluding your end-game or long-term players, it’s pretty much an Ironman experience if you’re not eager on paying these staunch prices.

Reason for prices? Very very small player base.
Increase the accessibility of low - mid tier items in store (it’s mimicking the regular game mode) = more inviting for players.
In return, more products going through the tp.

if you get your potion shop, after you are gonna ask for :

can we have a gem shop like normie? gems are so expensif.

after its gonna be : can we have a shop that sell herbs like normie? since i buy all my potion from a shop i dont have the herbs to gain herblore lvls.

 

and after you get all the shops and everything from normie, there is gonna be some crying about the xp rates for sure and then  its gonna be the '' lets merge realism'' again,

 people are never happy with what they have.

why you want to play realism if you cant accept the grind how it is supposed to be?

you guys should just make a suggestion about a new gamemode instead with normie eco with a 2x xp rate like realism if this grind is to much for you.


anyway there was already a talk about potions for realism on forum and it didnt changed and potions were 2x more expensif than now, it stayed that way. at some point, i did agree with having a potion shop in realism gamemode, when i wasnt playing realism really. you will get used to it like i did and you will enjoy the grind like all the others. btw what is your realism name? i wouldnt mind selling you some potions cheaper/trading for other stuff if you need somes that much / or if ur to lazy to make.

I don’t understand why ‘crying’ , ‘change exp rate’, ‘game mode to hard’ has to do with requesting some potions in a shop.

I’ll keep this relevant to the topic - The suggestion is purely to make this game mode accessible for the newer / early tier players.
Yes, people in the realism community which has happened to me when I need an onyx made into a fury, however people like that aren’t always around and there’s others that expect control from it (unfortunately this does happen from my time here).
At this moment, I don’t see any difference between EIM and Realism - outside of lower exp. They both feel like Ironman gameplay.
